Chopin is the greatest composer for piano of all time, plain and simple. The emotional depth of his music is awe inspiring. It is a translation of indescribable and unspeakable feeling that is ultimately transcendent.
I could go on forever talking about how much I love Chopin, but I don’t actually know what it is i love about him. I think it’s how held back, restrained and intimate he is, if you compare Chopin to Liszt (which is a common comparison) they both lived in the same era, they were both very very talented and the were both recognised across Europe. However, if you compare their work, they are so different. Liszt is absolutely crazy, I mean his work is just manic, but then you listen to Chopin and it is just sublime, his way of writing and composing is so... elegant. He manages to make the most beautiful melodies out of literally anything and everything. Chopin’s music doesn’t have to be fast or slow or challenging or ‘showoff-y’ because literally everything he writes is fantastic. For example, listen to his prelude op. 28 no. 20, it’s very slow and mournful, but so beautiful and poetic. Then listen to his etude op. 25 no. 11, it’s very challenging and impressive, but it’s so beautiful at the same time. This is what I believe draws me towards Chopin. Liszt is capable of making pretty works, and there are some of his pieces I enjoy listening to, but the majority of his repertoire is way to much for me, Chopin’s repertoire is just brilliant through and through. This, I believe, is why I love Chopin so much and why, in my opinion, he is the pinnacle of not only piano literature, but classical music as a whole.❤️
Yeah but please listen to ballade no 1 and yeah when i see that is 10 minutes i was like what the f why is ten minutes but pls listen to it.It s one of the most good chopin pieces and listen to heroic polonaise
Time for you Maestro Lang to become a cinema star, put it this magic on cinema screens and let it worth. During the Covid pandemic isolation only phone dealers made a lot of good profits, ask them Chinese Huawei Company to borrow me the money so l could finance the project, if l could have all the money in the world I want, l would spend them on financing such projects, you can bet on it. You can try to build up the movie like a travel seeking for Chopin's story because...it worths a fortune still today, the struggle of a composer, his joy of being such a great entertainer
I can tell you one thing: I'm pretty good at playing the piano, but I've never applied myself to it 100%. I've had servont with the piano, "servont" meaning "gift from god", because I play by ear since the age of six and never had a lesson. I am determined to do whatever it takes to become as good as this guy, it might take me absolutely ages to do, but I will do it.
@@daph0307 I mean... he gives masterclasses at the world's most prestegious schools, he IS a genius. A one in a million pianist. He is no zimmermann. Not a great composer like chopin or liszt themselves. A great musician nontheless. Salieri was a genius. Mozart was just more of a genius.
@@the_court_jester666 I would not call that a genius. He is more demanded because of his technical abilities, he's a virtuoso I'd say. But still, he hasn't done something amazing to be called a genius.
