Great video and this is something that I've been looking for, for my Action 3. One question though. What is the popping sound every 10 seconds or so in the footage when the wind muffs on?
Great solution and thanks for your video. I tried when this came out to get them from Amazon but they were sold out for some time but have just now got them and it works well - thanks again for a cheaper solution. I was looking at opening a lot of money on an external microphone but it left my Action 3 open to the elements to use the USB C connection - this is a good solution for just home videos etc.
@@Samuel_Conchie Yes, instead of a dead cat, use a sponge, something like you have for washing dishes or a sponge for a microphone. You need this double sided sticky tape and then sponge it over. It's much better
Thanks for the link and demo. Has it had any effect on the colour temperature sensor that's in the letter 'O" of 'Action' in anyway - for either video or photos?
Have you done any videos on How to use the Mimo App for Osmo Action 3. I can't edit my videos properly. Need to see if I'm doing anything wrong. I like your easily explained videos.👍
The mic is decent problem is in order to benefit the use of the additional mic items you use be on Pro and that DJI must change pronto otherwise you are best using a external mic the offers hmm everything Dino is but on a better level. Just my 2 cents

Got me on the practical joke - love the windmuff solution!

Amazing! Thank you for sharing. I’m finding myself constantly trying to edit out wind in my videos! This will help immensely 👍

What do you think would happen on the bike around 40 miles? Will there be a clear sound? Thanks 👍
No. It will not work. It will be OK maybe max 20mph, but after that is no good.
@@TheCameraManReviews Ok, thanks. Then I have to find another solution
@@klerobi1have you found another solution I use it for mtb and max I go is 34mph

Really sorry, I don't use the Mimo app. 😞
Hiya cool video. If city vlogging what do you recommend the gain for fulaim x5 wireless on a action 4 to be set at. Thanks😊
Do these interfere with the sensor in the middle of the O? It looks like they cover it which makes me think it would not be operating correctly.
He didn’t cover the color temperature sensor, you can trim the excess fury areas to make sure.

Thy should add this in future 😳😳
apparently with the latest software update you don't need to use the DJI receiver, the camera will see the mics without it.
Just get a separate mic with decent wind cut and then sync during editing
Anyone figured out the location of the third microphone?
It's in the manual...located underneath.
