Just back from 10 days in Scotland! And thanks a million to you, Tony, I knew my way around! From short cuts to the way up Arthur's Seat, and an appreciation for everything in between. About the restaurants - I did find that reservations are needed if they take them, it's getting busy - especially from Friday - Sunday. Also crowded on bank holidays and music concerts! Didn't want to leave. Will be back! People are so friendly, and Edinburgh is a resilient treasure. 🤩❤
Thanks, Tony. Just spent 12 days in Edinburgh and felt so comfortable knowing my way around thanks to your tours. Just loved your city and impressing my travel companions with the hidden treasures you've shown me. Congratulations to your increasing family! Elizabeth
What a gorgeous day! Victoria Street definitely looks like a destination to not miss when we visit! Great places to eat…thank you for sharing! We love your videos so much.
Thanks Tony for your videos its been wonderful exploring Edinburgh, so fascinating. I loved every minute, Scotland will forever be close to my heart as I leave tomorrow Love and many blessings to you and your growing brood.
Lovely sunny day. I am glad you were able to get out and about. I'll be honest, I find eating in City Centre to be too expensive most of the time, but there are places where you can get a good-priced meal. I prefer off-the-beaten roads such as Abbeyville, Fountainbridge, and even to the East in Newington; there are places where you can get the same Haggis balls and/or something like it for about 30% cheaper. That being said, I LOVE walking the Grassmarket and seeing the entertainers, the people, the colors, the dogs! Everyone brings their dogs, you know. LOL HINT....bring your dogs!! Thank you again.
Thanks Tony I will need to try some of these places 👍 I went to see Dean Village, and used the short cut to the grass market all due to watching your videos so thanks again 👍
Had fantastic veggie breakfast at Scott’s Kitchen last week and the staff were lovely! It’s up on Victoria Terrace overlooking Victoria street so I know technically not Victoria Street lol
I was in edinburgh over from ireland the first week of june and its not the last time ill be there, loved the city. Berties was actually the first place ive tried haggis and i absolutely loved it. Great food in berties i tried a bit of everything 😅 was so sad to to come home!
Did you see the word Boulangerie on the patisserie and think it said “Bulgarian”? 😂 We enjoyed Oink when we went, very good. Bertie’s we thought was absolutely fantastic! Not just the food quality but the decor inside was fab
We will be there in early July. Can't wait! Your videos have been really helpful,Tony. Many thanks. A video on the best places to get a shave and a haircut would be much appreciated. Keep up the great work.
This is lovely to see - I went to Edinburgh on a whim for a few days just last month and fell in love instantly. I couldn’t believe my eyes; it was so completely beautiful. The best thing I ate was a bowl of Cullen Skink on a rainy day. Absolutely, ridiculously delicious!!
Victoria Street is one of my favourite streets in Edinburgh Tony. I also like to stand on West Bow and look down on Victoria Street too as it gives such a photogenic perspective. Mind you, most of Edinburgh is photogenic no matter where you stand. 👍
They were working on that hotel when we were there last year. Looks better without the scaffolding. We are definitely trying Oink next year. Great video ❤
We had the deep fried Haggis balls at Maison Bleue when we where there in April this year, and they where sooooo goood 🙂 Thank you for all your videos, they have been very helpful 🙂
I wanted to try haggis so badly a few weeks ago, saw the haggis balls sign on the front of that restaurant but was rushing to get to the airport. Never got to try BUT going back next week so I'm on a Misson to get one at that place 😊
Victoria St is great. Bow Bar is good for liquid replenishment 😂. I tried Bertie's and was not impressed. Fish wasnt great nor was the batter. Want to try Maxies next time I get out that way.
3:25 I'm not sure what made you say this was a Bulgarian Bakery, but "boulangerie" means bakery. Everything else I saw written was in French as well. I might have missed something though.
By the way, although it’s none of my dammed business, I just want to say that for baby boys I love the names River. Oliver, Olly) Jesse. Just sayin. 😉😊😂

Hi Tony, still loving your vids. Could you do a vid on dog friendly eateries and pub's at some point, because that would be very handy?
