This is the content I come here for. Engaging with local businesses on a deeper level. Anyone can blog by walking around town, but Tony connects wi’ braw folk to show us the amazing stuff they do!
Ive known Will for many years, many a time has been spent in there just watching him and other staff make the fudge, Also watching Will getting people through the door to buy some of the fudge. Hes some boy lol
Aaaaahhhh!!!! Absolutely Brilliant! Why every business in Edinburgh hasn't hired you to highlight their products/services is a mystery. You Mr. Broonford are a great Ambassador for Edinburgh. "Broonford Butterscotch". Brilliant!
Tony! Way to go! I really enjoyed seeing you promote a local business and how wonderful to make new friends and see it done properly. I can't wait to come next year and get some fudge at this super cool place. Thank you for letting us know where it is located so we can find it and for taking the time to do this video. I know your sweet Kirsten was thrilled with her Broonford Butterscotch fudge! Keep up the good work and keep those videos coming.
Ahhh… so good! Glad you had a great time! Aye, my name is not Redback… my name is Gavin Ryan Thomson, and I’m very glad to help out! I hope your wife got a good bit of self made fudge!!! And may I recommend the dark chocolate and sea salt fudge paired with a Bowmore 15 y/o Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky! Slàinte mhath 🥃, Gavin.
I love fudge and always make it at Christmas to give away as gifts, partly just to protect ourselves (and our waistlines) from eating the lot! We'd love to try the limited edition Broonford fudge but we're 3500 miles apart. LOL. It looks great and their process was interesting. We'll definitely stop by The Fudge Kitchen when we're over in September.
I wish I was already living in Edinburgh…I would be getting myself some Broonford fudge from Will. That looked delicious and beautifully done. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I will definitely be checking it out firsthand.
Hi from Indiana! We are headed to your part of the world in October! Can't wait to taste some of the fudge flavors. Thank you so much for this video. Really enjoyed the content!!
Because of one of your other videos I brought the kids to the fudge house at the lower end of tbe royal mile recently . Could watch them make it . Was delicious. Will go to this place next time . Love fudge.
What a super duper fun thing for you to do!! That's a great experience. YOU ROCK, they rock. I love it. At 11:27 it looks like caramel topping for ice cream. I can't imagine doing that 10-30 times a day. I assume they have help, but geez, that's a full body work out.
Scots do love their sugary treats, don't they?! Fudge, tablet, rock sticks & teacakes all keep your dentists quite busy, I suppose. It was very kind of you to provide the Kitchen with a bit of free labor (or wages paid in candy samplings) and I thought it fascinating to observe the process of making a lovely fudge that is so adored by natives and visitors alike. Thanks, Tony!
Yum, my mother and Scottish grandmother made fudge like this (in smaller quantities of course). I'm on my way there from New Zealand and will be in Edinburgh on 29th August. I think a visit to the Fudge Kitchen might be on my list.
Loving your content! My sister and I made chocolate at The Chocolatarium a few years ago on the royal mile, great experience! I noticed your mic picks up a good amount of ambient sound and wanted to suggest a dead cat microphone cover, super helpful for my videos to block out unwanted sound! (Ski and snowboarding videos) PS - you’d be great at walking tours 🎉
Love the videos at the coronation the otherday I spent the whole time telling the people next to me the history of deacon Brodie, the last public hanging aswell as anything else in view 😂

Well done, Tony! If they could ship your Broonford made fudge, I would certainly by a slab for the family!! I will add this to our bucket list!😁

Looked like fun and interesting to see how it’s made.
What fun and educational this video is. Didn’t realize how much work goes into making fudge. Thanks for sharing 🙋🏼♀️
I love the fudge kitchen so much, I go at least once during the fringe every year. Our flat always has some in the house but it doesn't last long.
Thanks Tony! Looks amazing. Sadly, I’m too far away to try it but it looks delicious. 🎉
Looks so fudging good! 😀

That was so cool to watch. We wanted to go there a couple of weeks ago, but we didn't make it. Now I'm really wishing we had. That looks so fun.
This looks delicious!! I'm so excited to get to Edinburgh next month to try some fudge at the Fudge Kitchen!! 😍❤
