John very well narrated .. extremely informative .. the amount of history in such a small area of the very picturesque city of Edinburgh is astounding…I’ve visited Edinburgh a couple of times over the years ..
one memory sticks out from the rest was when we was sitting in the beautiful garden under the historic Edinburgh Castle eating and drinking a picnic I remember drinking a nice cold drink exactly at the time of the 1pm cannon blast from the wall of the castle … needless to say I wasn’t expecting it and split all the contents of the plastic flask down my neatly pressed shirt and trousers ..after the initial shock …embarrassment quickly followed especially when everyone gave out a huge laughter …

Absolutely loved this John. I love Edinburgh and I love you too of course so it was a brilliant combination. Not in a gay way 😄 Very professional. I explored much of Edinburgh last year while up visiting my sister. Its a memory I'll take with me to the end. It's steeped in history. So beautiful, gothic and in the past. I could live there. One day, I may just do that. Of course we enjoyed the pubs, live music and never-ending choices of Whisky. The Smoky One (?) being my favourite. Picture of a skull with smoke coming out the ears. New Lanark is a lovely place near to where I stayed. A stone's throw from Wallace's birthplace too. Falls of the Clyde. Wonder if you've been there? Lots of history and beauty too. Thanks for a fantastic tour 😉
