Love this tuning. Not a math rocker but it has such sweet and pensive open chords. Will play around and steal it as much as possible haha. Nice one Steve :)
Wonderful video Steve! Cheers on the album, it's brilliant!!
Thank you so much and good bless you ♥️
Thanks for the comment!
My man you are the Mr. Rogers of Math Rocks. You are always pleasant and so helpful.

i need more chord for F A C G C E tunning
i'm stuck in this tuning after being playing around in it for 3 years and i end up playing the same similar chord progressions in standard tuning and piano and essentially every time i song write :') idk how to get out even tho i am in love with the sound. i blame yvette and american football. any tips on how to branch out from what's comfortable?
Just what I needed today!
2:15 Dude that arpeggio at the end was beautiful
cheers! 🙌
Nice chord progression
Hello guys!!! I’m going to buy my first electric guitar this Christmas and start learning mathrock riffs :D
I’m torn between two guitars
1. Ibanez grx70qa HSH
2. Fender Squier Bullet Strat HSS
Which one should I buy? (I decided to buy boss mini katana as my first amp and no pedals as of now)
Thanks :))
Which one did you go with? Ibanez is definitely has amazing bang for the buck quality guitars. My first (and only so far) guitar is a Gio grg131dx and I couldn’t be happier with it, even after playing for over a year and demoing some VERY expensive guitars like a $6k PRS
@@joeyjohnsonson4341 That's awesome to hear!
I'm so glad that you're happy with your decision. I went with Ibanez :) . Wishing me luck learning mathrock!
Enjoy your musical journey!
Does anyone know what strings are good for this tuninh, cuz ive heard alot of people saying their strings broke when trying to tune it
any tips for tapping on an acoustic guitar? I can do it fine on my electric, but it sounds like doodoo sometimes on my acoustic
What is the brand/bodyshape of that guitar
looks like the yvette young signature by ibanez, the yy20
Correct, but rather butchered through my incompetence 😂
HEY I've got that guitar too :) Why did you change up the bridge?
Hello! I just prefer the ashtray style tele bridge and saddles 👍
Nice! Thank you….subbed.
Thank you 😮
What drive pedal are you clicking on there?
I've been getting into this tuning lately, super fun.
hello! It was a Nux morning star overdrive. It's a lightgain bluesbreaker style overdrive pedal.
What name is this guitar?
🤘🤘
