I’m glad I came across this vid. I was just looking for some reviews regarding this shoe and I stumbled upon yours. This style of review vid that is kind of mixed with vlogging is quite refreshing as it’s a bit unique compared to how usually these kinds of contents are done, it just seems “natural” and the beautiful scenery in the background is definitely a plus! Aside from just getting more info about this product, I truly enjoyed this content and I hope that you bring out some more (not necessarily just shoe reviews lol). You just earned a sub, and I wish you get a lot more soon if you keep this up!
Thank you so much 🙏 I really appreciate the kind words as I'm just starting out and I know content can always be improved but it means a lot that you took the time to let me know you like the video. Thanks for subbing and I look forward to chatting in the comments of future vids ☺️
@LaStallion id have to recommend Asics Gel Cumulus. Although I haven't run in them but from what I've heard it will be the better option. Altho I believe the outsole will last longer on the winflo. Hope this helps ☺️
Great video .. ( Audio is a tad quiet ) i see the Winflo 10s here in NZ are $100 now and the 11's are 80 bucks more. May have to get both .. always good to have few pairs of shoes in the rotation ( not super shoes )
Thank you for watching. Yeah sorry, my plan is to get a mic if I get more subs and stuff because I can't really afford it right now and I've just started making videos 😂 That's great man! I liked the winflos 9s and I'm sure the 10 just had an upper change from the 9. Bit lower stack height than the 11s but I felt the zoom air so much more in those. Still breaking them in though. Appreciate you checking out the video ☺️
@@Zeus-o7e I wish I had an answer for you. But to be 100% honest I haven't tried a wide enough range of shoes to give you an answer. Sorry I couldn't help but hopefully in the future I have the ability to test more shoes to help more 😊
Run in Peg39 and have bought a pair of Winflo11 for every day and half marathon - would these stand up for a half marathon?? (5’7” and 70kg for context). Love your content by the way. Refreshing.
@@paulmarcus9647 hey Paul thank you for the kind words! I appreciate it🙏😊 personally as I go up to the half or full marathon distance I'd want something with a little more cushion to protect the legs. But both the peg39 and winflo11 with be fine just keep in mind the legs will probably fatigue sooner than a more cushioned shoe like the Nike invincible or Nike Vomero 😊 do you have any races booked?
@timothytrewin what! There's more cushioned shoes than these haha so new to this and got these as mt first running shoes and can't believe how padded the soles are. I've been under a rock 😀
@@Benni3e haha lets just say you picked a good time to start running 😉even if you wanted to stay in the Nike line there's the Vomero17 and invincible 3 which are great daily running and workout shoes. Thank you for the review... What would u think is netter for daily usage .. im more into comfort and coushoned sole... Im stuck in between these and pegasus 40s.
@@kakanisathwik8892 thank you for checking it out. I think they are similar but the upper on the winflo isn't as breathable as the peg40 but in re to comfort id give a slight edge to winflo. If you're wanting all out comfort and to stay in the Nike line, id honestly look at the invincible 3 or vomero if they're available in your area. A bit more expensive but I think it'll be worth it.
@@timothytrewin how about new balance rebel v 4 they are discounted now .. I can buy em for around 7.8k inr ...Pegasus 41 are at 11k inr and invincible run 3 is at 14 to 16 k inr.. I haven't run in the journey run so not 100% sure but to my knowledge I think the winflo maybe a bit more cushion but the journey might have a bit more of a breathable upper. But like I said I haven't worn the journey run though they might be a good one to check out and save some money
@@fatsteve-xthegod6711 personally I wear the Alphafly 3. But honestly I haven't tried many other options from other brands. But if speed isn't a big concern for you than looking into max cushion shoes like the Nike invincible 3 to protect the legs over the distance isn't a bad option. I am trying out the original adidas prime x and it feels bouncy fast and great cushion but with the stack height being so high making it very unstable for cornering. So I don't think I'd recommend for the marathon even though it's not deemed legal by world athletics for professional runners, I don't think it would be overly worth it anyway. If I can think of any other recommendations I'll pop back on here 👊
If you mean racing an 800m track race these would not be legal to race in but if you mean as just a shoe to go out for a run under 1km of easy running, it would be okay for that but definitely not the best option. Let me know if that helps ☺️
@kennyomega8077 my fav atm is the Adidas prime x! I also did a video on this a little while back but have logged close to 300km in them and my opinion on them back then was maybe a little different. But they are just so fun to run in! They're fast if you want to pick up the speed and comfortable and feel fine at slower paces if you want to use them on recovery days. The only thing I'll say is that they're very unstable in the heel so if someone has weaker ankles or runs on uneven, hilly surfaces or around an area that has a lot of corners probably not the best for them. But I absolutely love it atm
Hi, Timothy. Thanks for your review, its cool. I would like to ask for advice: what do you recommend for running on asphalt, 5-10 km, 2-3 times a week? Downshifter 13, Interact Run or Winflow 11 ? Thanks in advance!
Hi Daniel, thank you for checking out the video 😊 I haven't personally run in the Interact Run or Downshifter, but from my knowledge of the Downshifter from previously working within a Nike store I can confidently say the winflo 11 would be much more beneficial to buy as it would be more versatile if you're wanting to do a little longer runs or some speed. I haven't been running in the winflo as much recently but I have been wearing them casually and they have broken in nicely and are getting more comfortable than when I did this review. The zoom unit has started to squeak when walking but that doesn't bother me. Also a thing to note would be that the upper isn't very breathable so in warmer climate might get very hot feet. Hope this somewhat helps and you enjoy your running 😊
I can only import size 8.5 UK via Nike International but it costs a lot. I got the size 8 and 9 at around 25% discount which made it somewhat affordable for me.
Oh no! That is so annoying. I generally go up at least half a size in running shoes compared to casual to make room for the foot to swell from running. I have a thumbs width between the end of the shoe and the end of my big toe. Hope this helps you save money and avoid the extra cost of import 😫 I appreciate you checking out the video and your comments 😊
