Generally, I think Lucasfilm should reconsider the sizes of some vehicles. There are few that are just way off... Thank you so much for this comparison.
Kartissa I've already determined this comparison video is very incorrect with the sizes. I know the interdictor wasn't that big because the empire specifically created the interdictor star destroyer to compensate for the smaller and more vulnerable interdictor cruiser.
1M0RTAL_CH1CKEN There are 2 sizes of Imperial ship capable of projecting gravity wells to pull ships out of hyperspace. The one depicted is clearly the Kuat Drive Yards Interdictor, which *is* the same size as an Imperial I-class Star Destroyer. I think the confusion comes from the fact that 'Interdictor' is a role, rather than a ship class. *Any* ship can be called an Interdictor if it can pull other ships out of hyperspace.
in canon there is only one interdictor and it is called "interdictor class star destroyer" but is about one third of the size of the Imperial star destroyer

Seems to be a point of contention, 180-200km have been quoted in canon but so has 900km. 180 seems more realistic based on the time spent obviously, but 900km lines up better with what is actually seen in the movie, such as when the executor crashes into the DSII. I would be more likely to accept 900km but it's the minority opinion.

In the Legends/Pre-Disney canon, most sources referred to DSII's size as 160 km. Some sources, such as the Complete Locations book and certain comments from people who worked on the film suggest 900 km. The 900 km was probably the size used in the production, which is implied by certain visuals (e.g. the station being roughly 1/10th the diameter of Endor, a moon that appears to be terrestrial in size as well as its curvature being barely noticeable when the Executor crashes into it). Similar controversies surrounded the size of DSI, with 160 km initially appearing in many sources but eventually formally superseded by 120 km. Ships I noticed were missing that were at least somewhat important: Malevolence, Dreadnought, Snoke’s Ship, Invisible Hand (Grievous’ Ship in ROTS). Did I forget any others?
The stats here are wrong. The DS-1 Orbital Battle Station should be about 120 kilometers in diameter. The DS-2 Orbital Battle Station was 160 kilometers in diameter. If the DS-2 was 900 kilometers it would have literally been BIGGER than the Forest Moon or Endor, which it orbited.

Great Video. So I was able to Show My son about the Destroyers. 😁
its wrong!! death star 2 is 160 km
Both numbers are based on a reliable sources but 160km is correct. Otherwise episode 7 makes no sense.
well it was a special effect and not what the canon is.
Disney's cannon is terrible. Your question do not make sense.
"is" is in the wrong place.
Well you can put "is" in front of 160km and it make a it makes a lot more sense.
the second death star is only 190km not 900
Oliver Hodgson it's actually 160KM
the17kyd is actually 200km
The second death star was not that much bigger than the first
It was supposed to be that big
After all these years of Star Wars, the Millennium Falcon is still the coolest looking ship in the galaxy.
Ships I noticed were missing that were at least somewhat important: Malevolence, Dreadnought, Snoke’s Ship, Invisible Hand (Grievous’ Ship in ROTS). Did I forget any others?
Both sides must have an strong economy.
Where’s the Malevolence?
It should be there.
Where is Starkiller base?
Mad Max it's just a planet with a gun attached to it.
not a ship a base
It has to be able to travel to be classified as a ship
Starkiller Base can't, but the Death Star I and II can through hyperspace
that's not star wars
Mihai Lazar Yes it is lol
Very very very good...
Parabéns pelo vídeo!
The Eclipse is very Bigger than the Executor
Executor is longer I think
Oh right. O found a text over that. The eclipse is 2.5 Kilometers longer
Oh god, no the executor is 2.5 Kilometers longer
But the Interdictor is not so big
it is now. for a long time it was believed the Executor was about 1/2 the length it currently is.
Inaccurate sizes
What, like how the Nebulon-B is literally closer to 340 metres, for instance?
The fucking death star 2 is 160-200 not a 900 km there also some ships smaller than whats actully shown in movies and in info pages
No starkiller base
The stats here are wrong.
The DS-1 Orbital Battle Station should be about 120 kilometers in diameter.
The DS-2 Orbital Battle Station was 160 kilometers in diameter.
If the DS-2 was 900 kilometers it would have literally been BIGGER than the Forest Moon or Endor, which it orbited.
i've never (and i mean it!) paused a video so much often
Como se llama la cancion que us usastes para este video?
+Elias Padilla Mira en la descripcion
+MetaBallStudios you Miss that spaceship call starkiller base over 900-1200 km
+Tyler M Master starkiller base is bigger than that is like 10 times the deathstar
Starkiller Base was a planet. 1200KM isn't nearly large enough to hold an atmosphere that thick. I think it's more akin to the size of earth
Gio98art But starkiller base it look like a space ship but it a planet
its not a "super stardestroyer" its called a star dreadnought
it is a dreadnought but it is still called super star destroyer
The Death Star 2 is wrong.
My satisfaction meter is over 9000
Love this! Thank you!
