Contrary to popular opinion I actually like manual seats more anyway and would probably opt for that deletion package if I bought one of these. Manual seats are just quicker and easier!
To add to the confusion, the 2 door versions of 4 series and 8 series are expected to get axed in favor of the upcoming 6 series. It will be interesting to see how this will affect the Gran Coupes
The grill is really growing on me! So much so, I just custom built a 2023 430i xDrive Gran Coupe with the M Sport Package. It should arrive in mid October to early November. Yay! I could hardly wait : )

I hated the headlight connected to grill design from last gen and the interior was just too busy with plastic and cheap design. The gen before the previous one (aka E9X) has the best modern design and timeless design with smoother and cleaner lines.

Lol getting rid of the power seats is such an absurd move for a bmw. They shouldn’t even produce the car if they don’t have the chip needed for power seats.
My main issue with the 3/4 Series is that you can only get ventilated seats on the full blown M3 and M4. I would love an M340i, but the lack of ventilated seats as an option is a deal killer. All the competition offers those and the vast majority of mainstream non-luxury cars offer them as well. It’s inexcusable at this price point not to have that feature. The upcoming 2023 LCI refresh this summer still doesn’t offer them.

One of my bosses has an M440i grand coupe in a very beautiful green paint. I will say, I hated the design at first, but it's grown on me since I've basically been looking at one for every day. If I was looking to get one, I would absolutely try and get one in that same green colour.
My initial thought the very first time I saw one was “damn that looks good!” Until I looked at it again online and was like “yeah that grill is fugly.” Then some time passed, and the grill grew on me. Now I’m back to “damn that looks good!” again 😂 Have an i4 on order as we speak 😅
I think you could but it would be in an aftermarket way with 3 series front end. I think they are the same in terms of holding brackets and wiring. Someone face swaped a m140i's front end for an M2 one cause its basically the same platform

Not a hatch though unfortunately, but for the money I'd still shop elsewhere. Plus I still hate the grille on these, it will never grow on me.
Where do you pull to lift up the trunk floor for the tool kit then? Are there any other obstructions under the floor (such as subwoofer) and is it a flat plastic or fabric surface underneath, or is it just bare metal?
I have to disagree regarding your last comment on the Audi A5 Sportback as of course I have a 2021. I have the S-Line premium plus w/Black Optics & warm weather package. This includes all the safety features and Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam assist along with All wheel drive. Test drove the BMW before I purchased my Audi and the MSRP for my Car was $56K which is the same MSRP as the base BMW 4 series Gran Coupe, so I have more features and not to mention more horsepower in my mid-level trim A5 then a Base BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe.
But A5 SB 45 forces you into sport suspension vs BMW giving you adaptive M suspension for more ride comfort. I still can’t decide between this one and A5 SB
@@MIDOFCIS The A5s sport suspension is actually pretty comfortable and not to stiff. And for the cost to features you get more from Audi then the BMW. I didn't list everything but mine also has Ventilated seats, Heated Steering wheel and Power Seats. But that's just my opinion in the end get what you like quite honestly whether it's the BMW or AUDI A5 you can't lose.
same amount of options. i think Audi would tend to be cheaper between the three German brands. i think it comes down to how people prefer the car's driving dynamics.

I think Audi nails the execution of the A5/S5 far better than BMW with this. The grille has yet to grow on me(perhaps frustrating me even more on this particular car) and there are certain features you can't get on this supposed luxury car, like ventilated seats. Those are available on a $25K Hyundai. And I don't care how bad the chip shortage is, I couldn't imagine buying a "luxury" car with manual seats. No way.
My brother needs to get the grand coupe and use it properly. The previous one deserves a reboot. I am going to buy one and make sure to go far places one hour with it possibly.
You should really take some time and actually learn some options on BMW products, because you ALWAYS get them wrong. I didn’t finish watching the video after you said this model doesn’t have a 3D camera to scan around the vehicle. BMW has offered this since 2016 on the 7 and since 2019 on all other models. Also, this vehicle doesn’t have upgraded headlights, these are standard, lasers are optional.
We obviously know BMW offers a surround view camera, but this model didn’t have that option. We go with whatever the window sticker says on the car that was delivered to us, which occasionally can have a typo or two on it.
@@theredline as I previously stated, this vehicle does have the 3D surround view option. To access it, you just simply press the car icon button on the left side of the screen (which is clearly showing in this video). That function brings up a menu of different camera angles.

Custom order is how it works right now .. Audi dealer told me custom order an A5 SB would take 8mo or more .. crazy
