It’s incredible how well new BMWs go over bumps. Unbelievably solid. I have a 2014 BMW with Bilstein suspension and it still doesn’t go over bumps as well as the new ones do. I get so envious of them every time I drive them
Dad has a 540 xdrive and that thing is genuinely surprisingly fast for the size of the vehicle and the fact that it’s the 2nd lowest engine option. The base “30i” bmw engine is quick but I wouldnt call it fast - still plenty for most people’s needs.
Any idea why BMW in their brilliance eliminated the cornering lights? If there was ever a car that needs them its this one. I'm pretty pissed at the moment. I've had 4 BMW in the past 4 years that have had cornering light/headlights. At $57k USD I just assumed the car would have it; my x1, x2, and a 22 330 had them. I now understand that now only do you have to buy a BMW based on features, but you also have to grill BMW about any safety features that have been removed that haven't been published. I strongly suggest driving this car at night and try turning on a street that has no or low lighting. It's safety feature IMO that is sorely needed
It may only be a 4 cylinder but the 430i xdrive is faster than any stock Honda or Toyota that comes with a v6 making 300-330 horsepower, and is exactly as fast as a stock civic type R. The 430i has insane low levels of torque so your digging to 60 in 4.8 seconds and your quarter mile is 13.2 seconds. Considering this car “only has 255 horsepower” those numbers are far from slow.
What these videos never going to tell you , if you are not in to the racing or performance world then this is a perfect car for , is going to be fun to drive with enough power for you daily drives, safe , great gas mileage for the segment. If you are a track guy, get the M4 or the CLS those cars are not daily drivers and if you do it just prepare for high maintenance cost with the M4 or the CLS .
All BMWs have leather interiors (or at least leatherette) except on some of the electric models (iX and i7) where you can pay extra for some boujee vegan eco friendly cloth material.
Way to much money for the same car but with 2 more cylinders. Used M440is are sold pretty much near sticker price. If you want one fully loaded M440i your going to be spending mid $60s to low $70s, at that rate moght as well spend a little bit more for a full blown M4. Either commit to full M or save loads of money and get a base model and drive it fast. Fully loaded 1-2 years old 430i xDrives with sub 10k miles can be had for $40-50k which is a steal considering from factory your spending $60,000.

This is my most favorite BMW coupe car.
Amazing review and POV test driving Ben.
Ordered mine 2 weeks ago - can’t wait!!!
Should’ve gotten the 2023 version, I love mine
Did you get your car already? Gonna order my 23’ soon but hoping it won’t take more than 3 months :)
@@meddy0811did you get yours?how your experience has been?
I love the sport mode 👏
For $60 you can code sport + into your car. Dramatically more aggressive with shifting. The car feels fully woken up.
How do I do that to mine? @@Whoareyoucalling
You have one too ?
I just bought a 2024 a month ago. Love it!! Drives like bat out of hell.
These look fabulous

They just don’t sell the low end engines in the US. In Germany they have a 520 and a 420
Ben Jr will love this one when he's 15.
Looking at purchasing a 24 330i or a 22 430i … which one would I be better off getting ??? Any advice ?
Great detailed video!

Curious if you had any plans on reviewing the new 24 430i w/convenience package?
Still a 4 cylinder. Good for gas I guess and daily driving but not that cheap for a 2.0L 4 cylinder.

Beautiful car for a BMW
One bump does not test a suspension...!
Hi Ben, do you know how to fix the projector light to the doors on this car

Hello Ben Hardy I was wondering does the 2022 BMW has a cloth seat or leather seat on the inside

Honestly, The BMW speed, technology and drivability is great….. the overly large kidney grill is just hideous.
