Fair point, the slide wasn't one game it was a culmination of missed chances and running out of gas, the style of play isn't sustainable to win a TITLE
The drop in form started when the injured players started coming back in. We're now playing exactly the same as we were before they got injured.

Were overachieving to be top of the league. Still a great season with a trophy and top 4. Be good to keep Salah. Extend his contract by a year or 2. Could always sell next year. Its sobozlai drop in form that is the most concerning.

Nothing odd about it. Liverpool overachieved to get where they were in the first place. This was a rebuild season and they have had a ton of injuries, it caught up with them, they look like they're running on empty. If you'd have offered any fan top 3 and a trophy they'd have taken it. Arsenal could end up with 2nd and no trophy or MC could end up with 2nd and a domestic cup. Only one of them will end up with more than Liverpool.
Nothing has happened. FSG have allowed problems to fester and that has led to huge structural problems.
Sell Salah if a big offer comes in and spend it on younger players with more appetite.
Very unlike Liverpool? Uh…we’ve given up high single and even double digit leads going into the final stretch of the season way more often than not. We’ve tripped over ourselves whilst being in prime position for the run-in way more often than not. We’ve choked up and capitulated like pussies in cup finals way more often than not. There appears to have been ongoing issues with personnel at Liverpool for quite a while. The sideline problem between Klopp and Salah was the obvious thing recently, but does the problem between Salah and Klopp go back further and is it the reason why Klopp announced his retirement in the first place?
Mo has not been in great form for quite a while, not terrible form as he's 6th in the scorer table, but not at his dominating best. It is common for managers to not start a superstar that's been going through a tough patch and then bring him in midway through the match in hopes the anger is converted into motivation as it often is. Mo appears to think he should not be treated as everyone else in his situation are and that led to the kerfuffle in the last game. But, Klopp announced his retirement more than a month ago and the question is: is the clubhouse breaking into factions and has Klopp lost it?
