  • Hey y'all in todays video I am installing the turbosmart blow off valve on my girlfriends 2018 ecoboost mustang. Pretty easy install and great sound to it. It will sound a lot better when its paired up to a intake! Hope you enjoyed and also don't forget to SUBSCRIBE if you're new here!

Sounds great but my tuner warned me not to put a blow off valve on my ecoboost mustang i really don't know why but he has seen a few mustang ecoboost blown engines cause of it and that's why he doesn't recommend it.

Huh? All a blow off valve does is release the extra air, introduced into the engine from the turbo, when the throttle is closed. (Let off the gas) Shouldn't have any affect with a tune. As a matter of fact, tuning typically adds more turbo PSI and when going above the stock 20PSI, it becomes a good idea to upgrade the BOV as the stock one is plastic and can end up having issues way earlier in its life due to more turbo pressure. Your tuner doesn't sound like a good one 😭

Will this take off my 3 year warranty?

It might, it really depends on the dealership.

@@mr.boosted9983 True, cause I got a 2021 Mustang with 7 miles and i really can’t hear the turbo. Over priced $42,000k with full finance.
