I really appreciate you taking the time to shed some insight into your decision. I'm about to complete my 1st lease with Prime in October. I run hard and always try to have my eyes open to learn and gather more knowledge about what goes on in my specific circumstance. I see you as a very level headed and logical thinker. Not one to fly off the handle easily if you will. So I'm very curious as to what motivated your decision to leave Prime. Looking forward to understanding more about your experience. Thank in advance. You create good content, hats off to ya!

Good for you for standing up for Yourself. I like when you tell your supervisor or manager that this or that is going on. And your not cool with it. Then when you leave they can’t understand what’s the problem. They know what they’re doing. Just playing games.

I almost came to prime and I'm so glad I didn't. One of my concerns (and I was justified) was buying a truck from a company who totally controlled by success or failure by deciding which loads I pull. No thanks. If I fail it will be no one's fault but mine. I can and will pick my own loads from EVERY load that is available to that company. You just made the best decision you could have possibly made and I'm not sure you realize it yet lol.

@@johnsonslogic yeah, I get that. However, if all of a sudden after a group meeting you're earning comparable revenue then he/she knows what to do they just weren't doing it. Now that opens the door to ...other "problems" such as company drivers vs. Lease/owner loads.. Smh...a good reputation is something that takes years to build and one individual can destroy it in moments. It's a shame but good to know.

It's crazy you keep using this word fleet manager. The manager. The correct term is dispatcher and that person works for you and that person works for you you don't work for him or her or her.. The real difference is he probably difference is he probably tipped the dispatcher the dispatcher and gave them a little bit of extra money. Or through them a pizza party every week or so something.

    • @johnsonslogic
