It’s hilarious, but it’s a thing everyone does. I guess people are just hoping they won’t have to tune up out of the box, lol. 😂😂😂

I'm a weirdo I know because everyone who knows me and knows of me when someone mentions my name they always say "oh weirdo Doug or that scary guy" for the people who don't really know me but the ones who do just say I'm really weird and I absolutely love it

Haven't played the USA Richardson model but the sterling is the best 7 string I've tried and the most comfortable to play.

I have the 6 string version in red. Such a darn nice guitar!
I did have an issue with the bridge post inserts being loose in the body causing the bridge to move in and out of the body. Took the bridge off, pulled out the threaded inserts and glues them back in, problem solved. Bit of an unexpected inconvenience, but an easy fix and now it's perfect. Plays effortlessly

The floating bridges on the Sterling brand guitars are notoriously awful at returning to pitch.

Every Ernie Ball I’ve played or owned basically played themselves. Only had a chance to mess around with one Sterling, but it felt just as great as the Ernies.

Odd placement for a switch tip. Its almost right between the pickups. Also i feel like it is missing an ebony board since the hardware is also blacked out. Just my 2 cents

Fucking A! I have the buckeye Music Man version and it’s my favorite guitar!! I don’t know what voodoo they use to make the tuning stability so good on their trems, but it does the thing.
If you figure it out let me know because my sterling Majesty's trem doesn't stay in tune for shit haha

Can't go wrong with a Cutlass. Gotta be one of the most comfortable and ergonomic designs of all time. I've got a sick HSS 6 string that's had a complete makeover. I keep the trem decked and it has the best tuning stability of any S type I've ever played. I can pull it out of the case after over a month of dormancy, and the damn thing will still be almost perfectly in tune. Stupid good. Especially for the cost. Blows any overrated Fender away with ease.
I have a cheaper sss version of the cutlass, it's exactly what I wanted it to be. Once I set it up it's been perfect. I don't bang the volume knob constantly like I do on a fender, my favorite thing about it.

You already know man ! If you know how to use your 2nd string thats all you neeed! The only diff ( imo ) is the little adjustments you have to make to your hands to fit a lill more wood in them ( pun not intended) 😅
Out of curiosity, what are you using for the guitar tone in the video? I really liked how it sounded.
He only uses digital gear. No tubes. His tones were so much better years ago when he used real tube amps IMO.
Just in time! I´m looking into buying one of these, does the pickup selector switch get in the way? Becauseit looks to be just in the middle of where i play

It obviously is a sick guitar, but I just can't vibe with the MM headstock. On a Metal guitar, it just doesn't look Metal at all compared to Jackson, Ibanez, Schecter. Again, that's just me, and congrats on the new guitar.
