It makes sense that you'd be worried about bringing the silver burst out, but it would be cool to see, especially since you paid that much for it. just make sure you have a backup, or money to buy one from a pawnshop/music store wherever the tour is at - if needed.
I really like the Solar and the Badland in your collection. And as my own favourite, probably the one i have just ordered from a company called IYV Guitars, this thing will be based on the white Fender Aerodyne strat with 24 frets and easy access neck joint, and it will have 3 single coil sized humbuckers with 3 individual volume pots with push-pull functions. Damn, that's a long sentence.
Ray you should try installing a big brass block on your Fender Strat to get more sustain out of it. I did it to all my guitars especially a Fender Japan with a Floyd that was missing some sustain. I promise you, it'll bring it to life. I think that would make for a cool sustain comparison before/after video. Keep up the good work!
My fave guitar right now is my custom gold sparkle thinline Strat with one single JB pickup in the bridge, built by a company im super grateful to have signed an endorsement with this year, House95Guitars, what a time to be alive! sick video as always and beautiful guitars too!
I’m slowly converting my Jackson DKY into a workhorse. I’m dropping in a set of Fishman Open Core Modern pickups and changing the Jackson licensed Floyd for a gotoh GE1996T and the tuners to gotoh locking tuners.
Personally my favorite guitar is my JR Squier white tele. I bought it in 2019, had to sell it a few years later so I was without it for a few years. But about a year ago I was up early and on reverb browsing for fun and ended up seeing my guitar for sale so I snagged it quick and it’s been with me ever since! Never getting rid of it again
All of your guitars are sick man! Thank you for sharing your favorites with us! If I had to pick, I really like the Orange Solar and the Loathe guitar. Really like your single cut collection as well. Long time fan and so cool to see you keep growing!
That was an awesome Rig Rundown y’all did. And if you worry about the SilverBurst, just make it your studio / session guitar. I don’t see how you fix it on the road….great guitar stores out there but probably no on-the-spot fixes. Really like your Charvel. Still trying to figure out my own favorite…
My faves right now are: My 2008 Caparison Dellinger 7 FX, 2008 ESP Standard Gus G Random Star, and 1990 Ibanez Universe I’ve been lucky to own some sick guitars but these three just have “it”. Especially the UV, it has the nastiest low end and sizzle i’ve ever heard through high gain
Nothing can beat a 78' Norlin LP Custom in Natural !! I love that guitar !! .. but I love my 77' MIJ "Aria Pro II" LP Standard from the Matsumoku Factory (and I love my White LTD M-1000, old MIJ Jackson's, and a really cool "LAG", so underrated well built guitars made in France. As a french guy, I couldn't pass on it !..) (and did you see that new awesome Solar A1.61 FR Assassin ?? Black and red, Gotoh Floyd, etc ....)
I have two tied for the "favorite" title, both great guitars. One is my Jackson american virtuoso, absolutely a brilliant guitar in every aspect I absolutely love that thing, will never get rid of it. The other is a Slash signature les paul in anaconda burst, it aint pretty, has lots of cosmetic flaws (which I couldn't care less) but man does it play nice and sounds like a beast.
I took my dream guitar (2007 Alpine White LP Custom) to Europe for two shows, one in London and one in Amsterdam. Got back home to Korea to a headstock and heartbreak. It's repaired now, with a bandaid over it, but I'm so bummed that I can't take it on our US tour in October.
Out of my collection, its definetely my LTD SC-607 in Two Tone Sunburst, since its my first really good guitar (EMG 81-7s, neck trough construction etc.). It also inspires me way more than my old Ibanez 6 string. To my knowledge, its also one of the last models LTD did in that finish. From your collection, it has to be either that beat to hell JR Stratocaster or the orange Solar guitar. I really love that neon orange. Greetings from Lotasticland aka Austria🇦🇹
About the Jim Root, I’ve watched you play that guitar for a while now. We all love it. Have you ever thought of getting a backup in case something happens to it? It’s eventually gonna run its course with all the love you give it. This might make a cool content topic. When and why does someone decide to get a backup of their favorite guitar? How do you find a copy that’s as good as the OG you’ve loved for so long? After all, guitars will never be 100% identical whether in looks or playability. Or when the guitar runs its course, is it better to simply move on and find a totally new favorite rather than trying to replace it with the same model that may not ever quite be the same? I guess same question applies to ANY of your faves, come to think of it. 😂🤘🏻🎸
I only have 2 guitars and one is very sentimental the other is brand new. But what I will say is my dream guitars are so wildly different people probably think I’ve lost my marbles. I have been listing hard over a couple custom Balaguers either a tele shape or the jazz master shape, and an Aristides 070SR with an Evertune. I really love the look of a guitar that doesn’t look like it just play metal but is perfect for it, and I also like the hyper modern Aristedes guitars. 🤷🏻♂️
So far my favourite guitar is the LDT MH-400, which has been with me for 17 years. It's got a crappy Floyd Rose Licenced, but it's never let me down and to this day sounds great on EMG 81 and 85🤘🏻🔥 Of your guitars, I'm crazy about the Fender with the EMG. A guitar with a toughness and history. Respect💪🏻👍🏻
My favorite guitar I own ( even though I don't own many ) is my solar a1.6 floyd rose in flame black. I swapped the trem for a gotoh and got some more chorome hardware for it, and the chrome on black looks so sick. It was my dream guitar that I got when I worked my first summer job like 3 years ago. My favorite guitar of yours is the badlands one, it just looks so nice, but I do prefer stainless steel frets a lot, because I'm more of a lead player.
Quite honestly the two guitars I find that are synonymous with you when Im listening to your music is that Silverburst Strat and your Vintage Modified Baritone Jazzmaster. Like those two guitars are just so you at this point, that sometimes I forget you own a Les Paul ^^;
I think my favorite guitar is my esp sd-2, the neck on that guitar is magic and fits my hand perfect, and it doubles as a weapon lol. as for your guitars, that TWS with the crazy top on it is so pretty I think I'd pick that : )
I think you influenced me to get into baritone’s or at least semi baritones. Got my main Ibanez rgd axion label 26.5 in drop C. And just recently got a Jackson pro plus dk ht6 ms 26.5-25.5. Currently in drop D. That I want to use for drop C#. With fishman fluence sevens in it. Aside from your Les Paul’s. I love how you use super modern guitars to do old school nu metal and post grunge based stuff that’s totally what I’ve done with a more death metal twist with the hm2. Which I know you’ve used as well
My go to is the weirdest guitar I have... it's a mismatch Washburn X Series with a Dragonfire quad rails guitar. If I'm recording youtube videos, it's always my first thought.
I am torn between my Les Paul standard and Jim Root jazzmaster flat black. I like the 60's Les Paul neck because after years of playing it is kinda moulded after the way you play it. On the other hand the jazzmaster is cool for drop B. I don't play modern djent stuff it is more a case of playing downtuned 90's metal 😂😂 my favourite guitar on your channel is the Squier baritone. Mostly because you got your own signature tone. That must be because of the string gauge 😂😂 just kidding 😂😂
What p90 pickup would you recommend for a sound similar to yours or bands like loathe and Thornhill? I don't have alot of money to experiment much with different pickups so your input would be much appreciated 😁
Headstocks already broke, take it out man. Dean From Hell had its headstock broken what, 7 times? I get it, I love my Les Paul, the headstock is the scariest part about them, but every time I've heard stories of les paul headstocks breaking, its always followed up by, but it sounds better now. That silverburst is sick, play it, it's what it was meant to do. After a headstock break, it's kinda a player grade guitar anyways. Give it the love it deserves.

Everyone knows a gibson doesn't become iconic until it has a broken headstock.
trueeee

My favorite that I own is my PRS S2 custom 24. My fav of yours is the Squier vintage baritone jazzmaster. That will be my next guitar.. all black 😍
1996 Les Paul Studio is my favorite.
2) 1965 Fender Jaguar
3) Fender Strat
4) PRS CE 24
5) Jackson Professional
6) Washburn Nuno

I'm amazed at the Epiphone 50s Standard Goldtop I got the Husk & pieced back together. There's mojo with that one.
My favorite guitar i own is my 30in baritone strat partscaser (that watching this channel inspired) and i really dig your Jim root strat

Your Fender Stratocaster with EMG pickups and the Floyd Rose looks like it ate the Magma-Magma Fruit.

Why don't you just get a new neck for your Gibson Les Paul
Gibson is so overrated
Dude is starting to believe that he is famous.... it is kind of embarrassing.
