Now that is what I call a great video of some terrific flying of the T-28 Trojan. None of that tiny mosquito off in the distance, no onboard camera with prop blur, Just plain ole flirt with the dirt aerobatic flying. Thanks for sharing.
It is nice to see someone who obviously knows how to fly put a on a display that makes the plane look realistic rather than an erratic lawn dart. Very nice flight. Enjoyed watching it.
Hi Michael, I've many hours on my Eflight Commander 1.4m and I always love its smooth flying. But, I have to say, this T-28 looks like a blast to fly and carve out the sky with. I love the retracts, I wish it had LEDs. My commander always a seems to be missing something. Maybe is the bulky wing, and "slow poke" type of sensation I get from flying it. The T-28 looks like it just rips around. I'm not much into 3D stuff, a basic snap-roll here and there and I'm good. It looks like I'll be picking up this T-28 for this coming weekend. Thanks for the awesome videos. Your Commander mPd 1.4m video was the beginning of my come back into this crazy pathological hobby. 🙂 THANKS!
Hi David, the T-28 is really a fun plane to fly also. Probably the best flying of the 1.2m warbirds. It flies very precise and on 4s has power to spare. It lands almost as nicely as the Commander.
@@michaelclinerc3211 Michael, if I may ask one last question. Looking at the manual's settings, I'm wondering if the elevator might need more range, mechanically at the horn. Do you feel the stock settings for the elevator are enough (sluggish), or moving inward to add more throw on the horn might make it fly a little nimbler?
I run a 4 cell without issue also. I enjoy that little extra punch! Either way, I love the Eflite T28 1.2! It's sad they stopped producing them. I also love the flying field. Kinda like "field of dreams!"
@@bobturner3388 I’ve spoke with HH. They’ve confirmed the 1.2m T28 will be back late this year, hopefully in time for Christmas. It won’t just back. It will be better than ever
“ Great Scott’s “ that thing is nice 👍🏽 I have one sitting in the closet along with the 1.2 P-47 Razor Back but until I get my feet wet with my beginners plane. It will remain grounded however I did install the Spektrum 80 brushless ESC 🤣😂🤣 couldn’t squeeze the 80amp ESC inside the Razor Back so I installed the 60amp.
The T28 is a great flying plane and is a great 1st complex warbird with flaps and retracts. Definitely get comfortable with your trainer first before moving to the T28.
Thanks emil! I would think the Commander would make a great second intermediate plane. The fixed gear will be move forgiving than the retractable gear on the T-28.
you fly great? I just got one but I can't get the AS3X to work so haven't flown it yet. I put throttle past 1/4 but dose not fully activate. When I do the test servos make noise but don't move. Any ideas what I should do? Man you fly this plane well.
@@michaelclinerc3211 not sure, I'll try again. I have a brand new Spektrum DX8 I bought when I got the plane. My first 8 channel radio. I don't remember having a choice between the two. I so appreciate your help Michael. Its been a month since I tried to get it right. Called Horizon Hobby and talked to a tech but he wasn't much help. I'll try re-binding and see if I find a place to select AS3X. Thanks again for your help.

Thank you for your comments and thanks for watching my video. I'll do my best to keep the videos coming.

Thanks Rcdoski!
I enjoy watching you put different planes through their paces. Great flying as usual!
Thanks Clayton!

Wow, flown fantastically, it
remains a beautiful plane.
Thanks Hans!
You are a very good pilot!
Thanks Bob! Thanks for watching the video!
It was not advertised to able to run on a 4 cell stock. But it can and it is too much fun.

Which is better for second intermediate plane COMMANDER VS. T28?
Thanks

Thanks EJ! Did you bind with just AS3X or SAFE Select? Not sure if it makes a difference but try re-binding and see if it helps.
