Nurmi's questioning of the detective was so stupid and made no sense. He was just asking a lot of questions to try and confuse the jury and take their mind off of prior testimony. He really made himself look ridiculous and "nonsensical" (his favorite word).
A woman who is abused does not drive hundreds of miles across the state to be with their abuser. Unlike Jodi, abused women stay away and make no effort to be near their abusers. All the evidence supports premeditation without a doubt and the jury's questions show they don't believe it was self defense. "Why should we believe you now" tells us the jury is not stupid.
It gives me great pleasure when she sees the life she had and cries. She's realizing out of her evilness she herself destroyed it. I hate that Travis had to meet this devil and die so viciously. It is believed she dyed her hair at either a salon or by herself on June 3 and that is WHY she took 3 RANDOM photos of herself on her phone. I believe this is what Juan was hinting at today. Jodi's lies She stated Travis wanted their relationship hidden. Testimony and video showed her relationship with Travis was public. She stated in Salinas, she only had her nails done, didn't know if the salon did hair. She alleged, her hair was lighter when she went to see Travis. Photos show, she died her hair dark brown on June 3rd. She stated, she jumped on the ledge of one of the shelves in the closet to grab and imagery gun. The photo showed, that those shelves couldn't hold her weight and would have tilted downward. This day she was caught in 3 blatant lies.
She exited his house from the rear of the house the day she killed him. She took the screen out of a window in the rear and then scaled the fence. The screen was found in the backyard. She never parked in his driveway. She parked around the corner. She dyed her hair dark enroute. She is a lying, stalker, friendless, remorseless beast.

Travis was obviously a really great guy who fell under the spell of a troubled woman who led him for a walk on the dark side and he, young, inexperienced and yet all too human, fell into her web of deceit, obsession and just pure evil. Jodi is working on a Bloody Crime Scenes coloring book. She has used the Red crayon completely and is now using the Radical Red mixed with Shocking Pink. omg she did change her hair color. That's why those photos were shown. Remember she stated that she got her nails done and juan asked her if she got her hair colored also. She testified that she did not. No one would notice her with brown hair. Great job Mr. Martinez.
I think the pictures just show she went from blonde on the day she left on the trip June 2nd to brunette on June 3rd (because she would be less likely to be recognized in Mesa because she was a blonde when she lived there). Jodi claimed she didn't dye her hair on the trip. The pictures shown today were just to specify when she dyed her hair, because it was already know she was brunette when she was with Travis on the 4th. Juan will tie it all together in closing arguments, I assume.

Arias looks so defeated this day, especially when the judge overrules Nurmi's objections to keep the photos of the shelves out of evidence. She even heaves a sigh a few times as if she knows her goose is cooked. Very satisfying to watch.
The fact that is has taken 5 years and this entire case for Jodi to begin to realize people might not believe her stories really says something about how delusional she is.
If the very top of the shelf was 7 foot tall, that means the top shelf where things would be stored would only about 6 1/2 feet tall. If Jodi is 5 1/2 feet tall, would she even need to step on the lower shelves? Her arm has to be AT LEAST a foot long. If she was in a panic, then she certainly could've just reached up; even maybe jump up...she LIED. Her made-up, thought-out story hurt her more than almost anything else.

It goes to the motive of premeditation. She dyed her hair and changed her car in case she was seen entering Travis' house. She put the license plate upside down for the same reason, so it couldn't be read properly.
I stupidly googled the post mortem pictures 🙁. I think she pulled him by his head as shown in the picture that was accidentally taken which ripped his throat open to a gaping wound 🙁. He was still alive at this point. The floor would have been very slipping with blood and probably water as he had come out of the shower so pulling him down the hallway would not have been a problem. Neither would her getting him in the shower. He may have still even have been clinging to life even then. I can not imagine the fear and pain he felt. Even if by chance she wasn’t lying about him threatening her this was a brutal murder. He had NO weapon. Surely self defence can only be claimed if there is a real threat to life? As in someone has a weapon to kill you with. What was he going to do? Kill her with words? He wouldn’t have killed her. He just doesn’t seem the type to do that from what jodi herself said and what those who knew him best said. Jodi deserves to be rotting in prison. The images she must have in her mind of what she did to travis will haunt her for the rest of her life.
Actually I watched a documentary about her cell mates she had before they got out and one is even sitting on her side of the courtroom throughout the trial. They both said Jodi told them she had an accomplice he even talked to her cell mates and said Jodi was originally going to kill Travis’s new girlfriend. Jodi and this man came in he waited downstairs while they we’re upstairs. While Travis was in the shower they started arguing about Jodi not going to Cancun. The guy heard them fighting so he went upstairs and saw Jodi picked up over Travis’s back stabbing him. The knife was in the room because Travis was eating an apple. After she slit his throat he was still alive but suffering so this man shot him. He said Jodi had the scariest crazy look in her eyes he’s never seen B4. Her cell mates even took a lie detector test proving both Jodi and this man actually told them this story. Jodi aid once asked her cell mates “what’s the only good real reason to kill someone and get away with it” and her cell mate said “when someone’s a pedophile”

I find him sooooooooooo difficult to listen to. Do you remember when JA was on the stand and he got stuck on saying before every single question toher: "if you will be so kind as to tell us...." And him talking about the Mormon Law of Chastity in this court that is trying her for murder with the death penalty is just mind blowing. And then he also refers to it as a vow. He makes it sound like this law of chastity is a law that if broken is punishable by death.
Well I haven't watched this part yet but from what I know about the shelves, Jodi said she climbed them while running from Travis, in order to get the gun on the top shelf or something. Only the shelves were left perfectly in tact. They are floating shelves or something similar which means they probably can't hold the weight of someone without breaking. But supposedly the closet shelves looked completely in tact. No signs anyone messed with them, let alone climb them or whatever she said.

JA and def is very depressed today. Good! Closet testimony is a nail in JA's coffin. One issue decided in hearing this morning was if closet shelf info should be allowed. It was. JA in tears when shelving pics were shown to tip with light weight.
I used to work for the pleasant outfit at MCSO. The place is actually a jail and houses unsentenced inmates. I believe Jodi is kept in a Closed Custody unit where she stays locked down for 23 hours and comes out for 1 hour for rec and a shower. She is fed every meal in her room. She is such a high profile inmate that she would not be housed in the general population. If she were, I'm sure her attitude would have done her in by now. :)

Photos show, she died her hair dark brown on June 3rd. She stated, she jumped on the ledge of one of the shelves in the closet to grab and imagery gun. The photo showed, that those shelves couldn't hold her weight and would have tilted downward. This day she was caught in 3 blatant lies.

omg she did change her hair color. That's why those photos were shown. Remember she stated that she got her nails done and juan asked her if she got her hair colored also. She testified that she did not. No one would notice her with brown hair. Great job Mr. Martinez.
I think the pictures just show she went from blonde on the day she left on the trip June 2nd to brunette on June 3rd (because she would be less likely to be recognized in Mesa because she was a blonde when she lived there). Jodi claimed she didn't dye her hair on the trip. The pictures shown today were just to specify when she dyed her hair, because it was already know she was brunette when she was with Travis on the 4th. Juan will tie it all together in closing arguments, I assume.

Arias looks so defeated this day, especially when the judge overrules Nurmi's objections to keep the photos of the shelves out of evidence. She even heaves a sigh a few times as if she knows her goose is cooked. Very satisfying to watch.

The fact that is has taken 5 years and this entire case for Jodi to begin to realize people might not believe her stories really says something about how delusional she is.
If the very top of the shelf was 7 foot tall, that means the top shelf where things would be stored would only about 6 1/2 feet tall. If Jodi is 5 1/2 feet tall, would she even need to step on the lower shelves? Her arm has to be AT LEAST a foot long. If she was in a panic, then she certainly could've just reached up; even maybe jump up...she LIED. Her made-up, thought-out story hurt her more than almost anything else.
Not only that Angela, those shelves lay on top of resting pins! If she had stepped on then it would flip the shelf. You can see she is almost in tears because she knows she is busted. Travis didn't own guns, she stole it from her Grandparents house.

shelleyinthecity, listen to the closing arguments of the prosecutor and hopefully he will summarize the mountain of evidence against miss arias pointing to premeditated murder that has been presented in this case. It's obviously there, and you obviously haven't been paying too close attention. I think she should receive the death penalty unless there is someway she can work in prison and support herself so the taxpayers won't have to.
Since it's late in the trial (soon to be over) Jodi's tears are probably from her visualizing herself laying on that table with needles in her arms.

@@annanowak9620 It's probably an odd thing that I "enjoyed" this trial so much...enjoyed just isn't that right word but it was one of the most eye opening things and to watch a massive liar such as Hodi Ariass helped me to see how people can be that unaware of how others can see them and that they will go that far because of jealousy. I remember that sometimes it sounded like JM's name was pronounced, "Prosecutor One Martinez" which was hilarious. I also think that because of youtube, it is learnable to watch the trials and true crime stuff. In hopes maybe that I could identify something before it happened, but of course, no guarantee. It goes to the motive of premeditation. She dyed her hair and changed her car in case she was seen entering Travis' house. She put the license plate upside down for the same reason, so it couldn't be read properly.
I stupidly googled the post mortem pictures 🙁. I think she pulled him by his head as shown in the picture that was accidentally taken which ripped his throat open to a gaping wound 🙁. He was still alive at this point. The floor would have been very slipping with blood and probably water as he had come out of the shower so pulling him down the hallway would not have been a problem. Neither would her getting him in the shower. He may have still even have been clinging to life even then. I can not imagine the fear and pain he felt. Even if by chance she wasn’t lying about him threatening her this was a brutal murder. He had NO weapon. Surely self defence can only be claimed if there is a real threat to life? As in someone has a weapon to kill you with. What was he going to do? Kill her with words? He wouldn’t have killed her. He just doesn’t seem the type to do that from what jodi herself said and what those who knew him best said. Jodi deserves to be rotting in prison. The images she must have in her mind of what she did to travis will haunt her for the rest of her life.
Actually I watched a documentary about her cell mates she had before they got out and one is even sitting on her side of the courtroom throughout the trial. They both said Jodi told them she had an accomplice he even talked to her cell mates and said Jodi was originally going to kill Travis’s new girlfriend. Jodi and this man came in he waited downstairs while they we’re upstairs. While Travis was in the shower they started arguing about Jodi not going to Cancun. The guy heard them fighting so he went upstairs and saw Jodi picked up over Travis’s back stabbing him. The knife was in the room because Travis was eating an apple. After she slit his throat he was still alive but suffering so this man shot him. He said Jodi had the scariest crazy look in her eyes he’s never seen B4. Her cell mates even took a lie detector test proving both Jodi and this man actually told them this story. Jodi aid once asked her cell mates “what’s the only good real reason to kill someone and get away with it” and her cell mate said “when someone’s a pedophile”

I have never seen a death penalty case on t.v. or any where else before. Poor Travis and his family and friends. My heart goes out you you all. No holds barred, Juan. He is amazing and so much learning by watching him. I am confident she will not see the light of day regarding this case.
I find him sooooooooooo difficult to listen to. Do you remember when JA was on the stand and he got stuck on saying before every single question toher: "if you will be so kind as to tell us...."
And him talking about the Mormon Law of Chastity in this court that is trying her for murder with the death penalty is just mind blowing. And then he also refers to it as a vow. He makes it sound like this law of chastity is a law that if broken is punishable by death.
Well I haven't watched this part yet but from what I know about the shelves, Jodi said she climbed them while running from Travis, in order to get the gun on the top shelf or something. Only the shelves were left perfectly in tact. They are floating shelves or something similar which means they probably can't hold the weight of someone without breaking. But supposedly the closet shelves looked completely in tact. No signs anyone messed with them, let alone climb them or whatever she said.

I glad the jury was able to see Travis with his friends around him. Even though they couldn't hear what he was saying they could tell my his body language he's a very warm engaging man.

I used to work for the pleasant outfit at MCSO. The place is actually a jail and houses unsentenced inmates. I believe Jodi is kept in a Closed Custody unit where she stays locked down for 23 hours and comes out for 1 hour for rec and a shower. She is fed every meal in her room. She is such a high profile inmate that she would not be housed in the general population. If she were, I'm sure her attitude would have done her in by now. :)

Juanita Hall-Disasi I think she said she used the bench seat for cleaning. I don't think she said she used it on June 4. However, if there was a chase through that room, that bench seat would surely be moved from the center of the room or knocked over. Of course, we all know, It's all a big fat lie.
