Lovely block. Thank-you for making patterns available. And thank-you for not wasting my time watching you cut, pressing and sewing. I like youtubes that show me what to do. 😊 I understand there are entry level sewers that need to see each step in real life.
Good afternoon Paulette, i love how you show what initially are two plain and two pattern squares of fabric and transform them like magic into something so beautiful. Your magic hands shows that even an outfight beginner can make something out of nothing and let people think of just how much "work" went into to making something of outstanding beauty. I love how each week you take us through how to improve ourselves by making beautiful things out of the simplest of fabric. Thank you flower for sharing your gift with all of us yet again. Crafty hugs being sent your way and see you next week, Norah, Glenochil, Central Scotland
Hi Norah! Your comments always make our day! We love the "magic" of disappearing blocks, there's so many things you can do this way. Have a wonderful week and we'll see you next time! 😊🌷

Fantastic!!! I love disappearing blocks. My very favorite, right now. I am a new quilter and i love learning new ways to make life easier and more beautiful. This was very helpful. You are so clever💡 and creative. Thank you for sharing this with us.😊💖🪡🧵✂️🦓🪷
I love and appreciate your calm, efficient and easily understood tutorials! Absolutely terrific! Thanks for the beautiful patterns and helpful tips!🧵😎💕
You could! The method would be basically the same, and you'll end up with a smaller block. When you cut it into three rows and columns, you can adjust the measurements depending on the look you want. 😊🌷
In the beginning, you don't say what size squares we start with, so I went to the pattern. Pattern said 5& 7/8. Then at the end you said 5& 1/2. Which one should I use?
We started with 5-7/8 inch squares, to make a 9 inch finished block. This method will work with any size squares, as long as you make both colors the same.
Disappearing blocks are fascinating to me. I collect every one I find. Thank you for another design.
We love them too! So glad you're enjoying them! 😊🌷

Lovely, question can I make this block with 5" charm pack?
You cut them 5-7/8 inches. The 5-1/2 inch block mention at the end of the video refers to the first block you make that looks like four triangles. 🌷
Nice video 😮😮😅😊😊
Thanks! 😊🌷
❤
😊🌷
So you started with 6 and 1/4 inch squares, is that correct?
We started with 5-7/8 inch squares, to make a 9 inch finished block. This method will work with any size squares, as long as you make both colors the same.
joli, mais j'ai des difficultés avec 5-7:8 inches = 5,875 inches svp ? de France merci
Yes, or 14.9 centimeters
Easier way to create star blocks. The link for pdf isnt working.
I've just tested the link and it seems fine, please let me know what happens when you click it.
Thanks!
