Yeah it’s hard to regulate that. In editing it will sound fine. Then you upload to RUclips and sit back and watch and it’s blasting. And sometimes you can’t hear it at all. It’s not consistent at all.
Just FYI. The extension stops are backwards the way you have them assembled. The one with the small tabs on the back goes on the same side as the wheels and is used to help stand it up while folded.
Out of the box was the saw blade "Square/True" - 90 degrees - to cutting surface? Did you need to reset/recalibrate any of the degree )45 / 15 / etc) pre-sets?
I’m looking to build an insert for this saw in my work bench and I can’t find the maximum width of the miter saw anywhere online. Could you check for me? Thanks
Scott Lowrie As soon as my tools make it back from Alabama I’ll get that for you. I had them shipped back. Or you could run to HF and get a measurement.
Okay, did you leave those rubber feet on the bottom of the saw when you mounted it? Doesn’t seem very level when I sit my saw on the stand. There’s a video showing a kit you can get to make it sit level without torquing the runners you attach the saw too
I’m on my 3rd, 12” single bevel Dwalt miter saw. Almost 15 years worth lol they’ve been good but I’m digging this Hercules. That stand that matches is pretty sweet as well.
Hey buddy I think you found your niche!! Continue providing videos your likes to dislikes ratios are out of the park... YOU’RE ON FIRE!! I’ve smashed and destroyed the like button until it turned blue!!
Nice review of this saw, and also a nice how to with the Herc stand. So what made you choose this saw instead of the "tried and true" Dewalt DWS779? I'd really be interested because I'm about to pounce on this saw and stand combo myself!
Dude I went dang near a year back and forth on this. 😂 go to Lowe’s slide the Dewalt on its rails, rising it up and down, twisting the turn table on it’s different angles, making saw noises (haha). Then go to Harbor freight and do the same thing. Look at the price difference. And the more I did this. The more I started thinking it’s just as good of feel and quality seemed as well. So a year of that and my wife and daughter going, OMG!!! just buy it already!! We are getting tired of watching you do this every time we come here. I just feel in love with it. I’ve always been a Dewalt lover but I took a chance and don’t regret it.
@@Grimmeute I unfortunately don't have Instagram but I'm glad it's working out good for you. Just bought this saw myself last week and haven't tried it much more than a couple dozen test cuts
Good review. Those are not handles though, they are the wings that come with the saw. The carry handles are the edge of the base where the wings attach.
I like how you opened the box from the bottom but you must realize that some idiot following the same procedure is going to end up throwing out the accessories contained in the styrofoam on the topside of the cardboard box because they didn't see it when they didn't open the box as the company intended it to be opened.
I understand what you’re saying. People can be dense. But I mentioned and point out the accessories that are in the top side of the styrofoam in the video.
Hercules I hope you’re listening!!! Your instructions SUCKED!!! Great product though 👍 Thanks to this gentleman he answered all my questions in this video. THIS HAS SAVED YOU S LOT OF TIME AND MONEY!! Why you may ask?! BECAUSE I would have called you and spent hours on the phone with a rep to help me understand this tool. You need to either hire this man or pay him for saving you A LOT of money!! Oh and yeah also my time hasn’t been wasted on the phone with you. Again thank you mr gentleman for helping me assembly this saw (and also the stand)!!
Ok I had to go back and watch it again see what you mean lol. Miter saws just gives you a smother cut if you make couple of passes. Believe me, it will cut that in one pass.
Craig R not at all. Except the day we shipped it along with some heavy glass top desk that collapsed on the saw. It beat it up real good. But it still worked fine. I didn’t like it being beat up since it was pretty much brand new. I went to Harbor Freight and they exchanged it without hesitation. I have video of that too.
Just bought one last week. This made me super excited to start using it
That’s awesome. 🤙🏼 enjoy
I got me one of those today. Thanks for the video.
Hey no problem hope you enjoy it.
You have the best videos I finally know how to set up my saw thank god
Wow, thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. Hope you considered subscribing for more to come.
Awesome video Brother! One of your best videos.
thanks for keeping the back ground music column low. to many videos have music blasting .

Good video man. Well done, informative, to the point. Everything covered very well. Keep up the good work.
Thank you sir
I just bought this saw and I must say it’s impressive and well built. I was hesitant but I’m very happy with it
Awesome, it surely is right? Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing! Looks like a great saw. Thanks
Thank you for watching @Frank Landgraff
Thanks for the stand and saw reviews. Planning on picking these up soon.
isolate any time 🙂

Yes I figured that out after. Didn’t pay attention when I was popping them in, until till later.
Great video. Thanks. Do.you know what the cotter pins are used for?
The handle looking rods on each side. Their actually just your product supports that extend on each side. But look like carrying handles lol.

The base of the saw is about 26 inches wide.

No some of us usually remove or used spacers
I’m trying to figure out how to remove the feet, any tips? Thank you!
@@geraldlane4162 they pop out pretty easy. Feet have a rubber grommet to the that pull out.
I’ve studied on getting one. Think it’s time. Thanks
frankzito1 took me a year before I pulled the trigger. Going back and forth on Dewalt and makita and others.

@@Grimmeute so after 3 months, how do you feel about the saw? Is it performing like you expected?
Ryan yes I have a Instagram page also that I been posting pics of things I been making utilizing the saw. It’s under the same name as here.
@@Grimmeute I unfortunately don't have Instagram but I'm glad it's working out good for you. Just bought this saw myself last week and haven't tried it much more than a couple dozen test cuts
@@Ryan-sl9re about the only thing I did was make sure it was squared up (which it was out of box, pretty cool). Other then that its been great
You have your material supports in backwards. Face the screw to the front
Yes I corrected that after that video. Thanks for letting me know.
We used to call my little brother Zoro cause he would put knife in to deep and leave scratches on appliances! Lol
your parents named him Zorro? that's pretty cool
LOL! No that was his nickname because he scratched bottom of new appliances with knife when cutting the box. That would have been cool though.

Right I knew what they were for just was calling out another use. I took them off anyway since I have the stand.

Move your fingers! LOL!
I noticed that also in video looks close but it really wasn’t. I assure you LoL
I got a ?
Craig R ?? lol
why did you cut it 3 times?

Save the plastic bag i save the bag and put it on all the power tools i buy and i but a lot
Good idea. Thanks bro
Those are not handles, they are sports for longer material.
Yep
