As an antipodean the correct way to drink Milo is to place at least 20% of the glass full of Milo initially, pour cold milk over the top (but gently so the Milo doesnt immediately float to the top) then once the glass is topped with Milk give a stir or 2 so milo floats to the top with the perfect cover of Milk which is spooned up. Milk first, then Milo. I’d love to see a video comparing the different Milo’s around the world. In some places it doesn’t float. It does the Quik thing and mixes in.

Aussie here. When making a glass of cold Milo, best to use at least a soup ladles worth of Milo then pour the cold milk in. Take a desert spoon and mix a little of the Milo with the milk and then eat it. Repeat until all the milo is gone or dissolved. At the end you have left over milk expertly mixed that you just chug down.

He’s describing malaysia like it’s in the 80’s 😂 I was traveling to malaysia about 10 years ago and no one dresses up to go to KFC unless it’s in a mall 😅
@@kw20084 It's in the 60's and 70's during my parents time that people dress up proper to go to KFC. Of course 10 years ago Malaysians status grew and there are much better options than KFC.
That's because he grew up in Malaysia in the 80s and 90s in Sabah.. My father and mother had old pictures of them at KFC dressing smartly while carrying my older siblings there to celebrate festivities or birthdays 😂 In the 2000s during my childhood my parents would also get KFC takeout to celebrate my birthday as well. KFC is part and parcel of every Malaysian kid ever
We never had KFC come to our school, but throughout Primary and Secondary schools, we always had Milo trucks at our annual sports meet. The trucks were only there for like a couple of hours, and the lines were ridiculously long. We even had incidents where coaches had to look for and drag away their athletes at the Milo line for fear of missing their events! Such fun and beautiful memories!
I don't eat meat anymore, but the last time I had kfc two years ago the price had risen by about 50% in just two months! And the family pack sides shrank by about a third. Just ridiculous.
When Phil Wang mentioned that KFC was pricier than local food, it reminded me of when I went to Japan as a child. We were in Japan for 5 weeks staying with relatives. My sister and I wanted Amercan food so our mom took us to KFC. the meal for us was 3xs the price of eating Japanese food. My mother did not take us to eat American food in Japan again.
KFC Philippines have a lot of spices on the chicken (you can choose either spicy or original flavor), rice, the sweet spaghetti (I'm not a fan of it), mashed potatoes with gravy on top, and so many others. The size of their chicken are the same size as Jollibee. I have to stay away on McDonald's because their portions in a meal is too small for a hungry person, and I have to order a large size of their fries to feel full

We travelled to 50 miles to Glasgow KFC as they hadn't opened in Edinburgh back then. Then they had a viennetta ice cream with the family bucket. It was amazing 🤩.
I am from California USA and growing up my mom always had warm sweet and sour sauce on the side to put on fried chicken. But it wasn't just any sweet and sour sauce it was always Contadina sweet and sour sauce, and it comes in a can. I think it is the best sweet and sour sauce made. It's hard to find now. And since the last store we use to get it at no longer sells it we haven't been able to find it anywhere. I really miss having it.

Milk first, then Milo.
I’d love to see a video comparing the different Milo’s around the world. In some places it doesn’t float. It does the Quik thing and mixes in.
@@erincarter9457 what? at least some of the milo has to, just has to float, I mean that is part of it's purpose
No Way???!! the first taskmaster season i watched was phil wang's!!! The craziest 5 comedians!! and it was like a month ago hahaha
im commenting before watching: im not sure who is weirder Ollie or Phil
AND I've been a Jolliebee for yearsss hahaha
Omg I miss the annual free milo truck
Phil was hysterical on Taskmaster.
milo truck just hits different, an out of body experience for me as a kid.
Aww, he's so down to earth! What a nice, fun guy. This was genuinely a joy to watch - I've not seen Wonka but now I actually want to, that dance was really cool! ⭐
Aussie here. When making a glass of cold Milo, best to use at least a soup ladles worth of Milo then pour the cold milk in. Take a desert spoon and mix a little of the Milo with the milk and then eat it. Repeat until all the milo is gone or dissolved. At the end you have left over milk expertly mixed that you just chug down.
oh my god. phil talking about kfc for birthday parties in school and random milo truck visits, also at school etc, makes me really miss home ':D never knew how good we had it as kids in malaysia
That truck milo is legendary. I remember bringing my own water bottle during sports day just to fill them up with milo. XD
When it comes to entertainers, I like ones exactly like Phil here. He's exactly the kind of person who you could chill with, have a meal, a pint and a decent conversation.
Phil Wang in Taskmaster, must watch!!
So cool seeing Phil Wang and Jolly. It’s beautiful.
He’s describing malaysia like it’s in the 80’s 😂
I was traveling to malaysia about 10 years ago and no one dresses up to go to KFC unless it’s in a mall 😅
@@kw20084 It's in the 60's and 70's during my parents time that people dress up proper to go to KFC. Of course 10 years ago Malaysians status grew and there are much better options than KFC.
Of course he is, that's when he would have been a child there! 🤣
With that moustache and glasses he's either 28 years old hipster or 56 years old man.
That's because he grew up in Malaysia in the 80s and 90s in Sabah..
My father and mother had old pictures of them at KFC dressing smartly while carrying my older siblings there to celebrate festivities or birthdays 😂
In the 2000s during my childhood my parents would also get KFC takeout to celebrate my birthday as well. KFC is part and parcel of every Malaysian kid ever
Love the Milo bit. True, the Milo truck has the best Milo ever.
Yay!! Luke is back! Too bad he didn’t go with you guys on your latest US adventure.
"The pendulum draws the eye"
We never had KFC come to our school, but throughout Primary and Secondary schools, we always had Milo trucks at our annual sports meet. The trucks were only there for like a couple of hours, and the lines were ridiculously long. We even had incidents where coaches had to look for and drag away their athletes at the Milo line for fear of missing their events! Such fun and beautiful memories!
Phil Wang is so charming!
If he adapts to accents it's an indication of empathy.
kfc in america has fallen off bad
Only thing I've gone there for is their chicken fried "steak" 5 dollar Wednesday meal. For a lunch its enough.
Sisig Rice Bowl has been my default kfc pick ever since they introduced it.
@@cedricdolendo3784 yes! But I wish they put a lot of rice and toppings because it's small
not gonna lie id expect you guys to have way more views on yt, im going to the UK in a couple years because of y'all. keep it up
The amount of take out these two have enjoyed must be astonishing. Having a jolly day.
Totally new to me Mr. Wang. I’m TEXAN so…I’m sure he’s very funny. Looking forward to his special. 😁
Blue Bell needs to be exported to your country. Maybe y’all can help that along? JOLLY’S Blue Bell takeover.
I'm a white girl studying Mandarin and 5:36 made me cackle so much. Josh *_totally_* has the mainland accent and should give his Chinese more credit!! 😆
Studying lol hilarious
@@MikeRusso10 Yes, human being study foreign languages to learn them. Sorry that's a foreign concept to you.
@@ArtByAshleyJayne Thing is you just a poser lol you can’t even type in English lol cut the act
@@MikeRusso10 Arguing with a complete stranger about whether or not they’re actually studying Chinese is truly wild behavior, my guy. Hiring a Chinese tutor and taking Chinese classes is a thing people can do and I’ve been doing it 3x a week since January. I don’t really understand what you’re expecting me to prove to you?? 😂 Idk, get a life and find something better to do, dude.
@@ArtByAshleyJayne You can’t prove anything liar lol just more made up stories
I’ve never heard of this guy before this interview… now I’m looking forward to watching his stuff. He’s funny 😊
I loved KFC as a child. I consider it 2nd tier these days. But if you love it I won't judge you.
I never had it until I was 21, because there was a local chain where I grew up that was so excellent, we never went anywhere else. I only tried it at 21 because a friend forced me to. It hurt, considering that there was a store of that local chain that we liked in the same time where we had KFC
I would love to try Jollibee or Nandos but they're nowhere near me😔
@OliviaFinley-p7w Nandos is all about the sauces but you can get them thru Amazon etc. It's good in the restaurants but not classy! Jollibee I'd love to try. I live in NI and we're getting our first Popeyes and Wendy's soon! God bless globalisation 😂
Brilliant video as always lads! Phil was in his element during this video 🤣🤣
Yeah he's sat in his own pad with his favourite things! Heaven. His house looks a bit like my high school Art classroom though 😅
jolly have officially tapped in with the Malaysian jolliebees with that meme alone
I've been following you guys since the beginning of your youtube career, I'm just sad and very disappointed to see my favourite youtubers not boycotting KFC, McDonald's and coke or other brands. As much as I love you guys with all my heart, I just feel people have become completely ignorant and care about their content more than actual lives.
Same. It's very disappointing. How hard is it to boycott few things that too aren't good for health
@@AbeerAYThey would have no content.
From Singapore and yes 8:11 milo truck is a thing! OMG the “draft milo” is just LOADS better than milo from everywhere else
So glad to see something other than an American video. Because dude, I live in America and have more interest in seeing things I don't already know about.
Yeah, tbh, I'm English and I was getting a little bored of that content too.
4:34 Audio edit, is crazy good. Well done editors.
Josh doesn't even like the chicken he's such a fake. I slowed down the video and he's literally repulsed by the food 😂
I'd love to see you gents team up with Jack Whitehall.
I love this series! Thanks for introducing us to your friends
Phil's "American" accent impression 😆 😊
Looks like the Southern tour has ended and you're back home again. It was a great series! And welcome back to Luke - his smile is always a treat!
My ex husband was British. I couldn’t understand the fascination with KFC. 😂😂
He's an ex for a reason 😂
I've always known Phil Wang was Malaysian but I just found out he's a fellow Sabahan? Also, yes yes YES to the Milo trucks! I'm not a big fan of powder Milo because I can never quite make it taste that good but the taste of the Milo from Milo trucks is forever ingrained in memory.
