I'm thinking the 8 ball saying "signs point to yes" is a reference to Kali returning, since she's number 8. This whole teaser explores the other subjects in the lab, and all the number references could be signaling that the others will play a role in the finale.

I assumed it's 3am (Im too stupid to read clocks properly) but why would they go to the rainbow room at 3am. Maybe he says good morning because this is the first time he sees them that day.
If it is 3am, maybe it's highlighting the fact that the children are essentially incarcerated. They've probably never been outside. There would be no real reason for them to have a typical sleep schedule.
Possibly worth mentioning: Russia is 7 hours ahead, so 3am in Indiana would be 10am in Russia. This sleep schedule would both adjust the children to the schedule of the enemy and allow them to attack in the cover of night in America.
3pm could make sense for the same reasons, just reversed. They could blend in with American children at that time and stay up late enough to take the Russians by surprise.
Maybe they constantly alter their schedules as some sort of experiment, or even purposefully do so to keep them somehow disconnected from reality, so if they go into a windowed room right after being told it's the morning and it's dark out, and then the experience repeats itself a few days later but they see it's light outside, they'll just subconsciously assume the outside world is umpredictable, and thus dangerous, making it less likely for them to want to escape.

3am is the devil's hour, which is kinda a coincidence that the demogorgon is like the devil, so maybe this could be a reference to the demogorgon or maybe it's a another theory that we will find out later on.

I think eleven killed all the test subjects at 3 o’clock that’s why they only showed them testing on her in the first season and they probably erased her memory of her killing them and 8 could have escaped at this point that also could be one of the reasons why she lashed out

Yeah good theory but I think that that El returned there to get some help since her powers went away and she sees that the same thing that happened to her with doctor brenner happens to the other children so she kills all the “staff” like the people who control the kids and the place and maybe she’s trying to get the children to run away but someone has told the children to go and kill el and they have trapped her. ORRRRR maybe she is just having flashbacks of when she was there and where it says 11 is when she was scared and wanted to escape from there

I think the clue was in season 1. When El said “I’m the monster”. Show is centered around her. Notice when she’s in Hawkins Lab. There’s plenty of scenes where she’s being escorted back to her cell. I think from her mom having abilities she gained stronger abilities than the other “numbers”. Possibly the anger she had made her create the upside down. To have a world she can control. Just a bit high and spit balling here.

In s1, Hopper first describes Sarah by saying “Sarah, my daughter … the galaxies, the universe, what not, she always understood all that stuff.” Then, in s2, when Hopper is referencing blackholes, he says “Sarah had a picture book about it, she loved it. And even hopper mentioned about galaxies too. Now how can a 7 year old understand a the universe stuff. It makes sense Hawkins lab and Dr. Brenner would want Sarah give the kind of ability she possesses. It seems like the upside down entities in season 2 and 3 are connected to space. We are dealing with cosmic evil entities inside the upside down.
So the parallel earth/ universe/upside down that's being created. What if it's created by Sarah?

What if all the kids escaped and 11 stayed or didnt know they left and 11 was made the main test subject idk about the blood though
My theory: The people in the lab wanted to create individuals with greater capabilities than normal humans, but they were able to make people with superpowers. I believe El didn't show powers at the beginning that's why she was kept in a room while they tested other children. Then at 3 AM Russians invaded the lab and captured one subject that became aggressive during the capture opening the portal upside-down. This gave every subject chance to escape except El who was in the room. Then they started experimenting with El afterwards.
Theory 2 El showed superpowers from the start that's why she was kept in the room: Because El was kept in a room she became aggressive at 3 AM and created the portal upside-down causing havoc. Other subjects escaped and then El became the main subject

2. #3, #6, #9's sister tries to escape with help of #11's mom, only #3 and #9's sister were able to escape and #6 died (#6 had the power to see and determine the future)
3. #9 can't control her powers so Dr Berner tells another Dr to dump her.
4. #9 was the favourite of the another Dr so that Dr Put her in another lab.
5. Year's later #3 and #9's sister finds #8 Kali and they start their journey to find #9
6. They're successful In finding #9, who is more powerful than #11
All this happened simultaneously around the time of s1-s3.
Now El doesn't have his powers and upside down is still there with hopper in it. Now I believe as long as these test subjects (El, Kali, #3, #9) are still alive the upside-down will be there! I think #6 was the only one alongside El who could see the future and things in his dreams making her the possibility of opening the gate to upside down. So maybe #6 is not dead and is captured by the Russians (not the American reference). I think we'll find more of what happens in season 4 in the season itself

The upside-down is a parallel earth where 11 used her powers to kill all in the lab and just kept on killing she is the mind flair and the creatures there what she turned humanity into which is why the Mind Flair sees 11 as the only danger to it, after all if you ruled a universe the only person you would fear is you from the parallel one.
Well there is a RUclips video talking about the Mind Flayer saying that it could be test #1 who was human but turned into a Mind Flayer because it was too powerful. It's a good theory.

There were 7 screens.
So many clocks in the show. In the first teaser trailer a long time ago that showed the upside down, the tree to the left had a clock. The hour hand pointed to 7. (This was in the upside down which matters for the end of my comment) At the end of this trailer it also rung the bell 7 times.

Jonathan took 7 photos at the party in season 1 when he caught the demogorgon.
7, 7, 7. So many 7s. Every time a 7 is here that I could find, it has to do with the lab or the upside down. Number, 7, has to do with the upside down. It’s common sense. But how do they connect? I think that the Mind Flayer is 7. The Duffer Brothers always put things in here for a reason. There are so many 7s that relate to the upside down. Somehow, 7 relates to the upside down and is very important.

Somehow I think that you’re right..I remember when Brenner said to Eleven to go closer to Demogorgon and told her don’t be afraid because it’s all in her mind..And Brenner said that they were trying to find a connection with this creature..So I think that Brenner knew about the upside down and he was using Eleven and other kids with their powers to come closer with upside down and that was the real reason to fight the Russians in the end..

My theory: when terry Ives was little she had a twin brother and they both were test subjects 1 and 1.5, terry was 1.5 and her twin was 1. Terry’s powers was that she can create dimensions and telekinesis and whenever she creates a dimension she almost passes out like el her twins power is that he can flay peoples minds when they were little her twin was always using his powers for the bad so one day they both have a huge fight and terry creates the upside down and throws him in it and passes out but they don’t know that her twins powers enhanced in her dimension and his second power is that he can turn into an shadow figure, the mind flayer and is insanely powerful after that he wants to get revenge on terry and destroy the world and when terry got mk ultra her powers lashed out and caused her to go into her first dimensions. That’s my theory pls tell me what you think.

This is what i think what happened: In season one, they showed a flashback of brenner telling El that today was a special day and that they were going to make history and going to make “contact”, mind you, in one of the teasers brenner told the other children in that room that “today is a very special day” similar to what he said to El. Okay then in the show, later on they show another flash back of when El made contact with a demegorgon in the void, which opened the gate to the upside down. And they also showed the wall breaking into pieces, implying it was a demegorgon coming into the real world. So i’m thinking that the demegorgon attacked the kids, hence the blood, and also the reasoning why HNL was temporarily closed and ALSO the reasoning why the guy in the beginning of S1 E1 was running away from somthing (that somthing could be a demegorgon) and seemingly got attacked by somthing that was growling above him when he was in the elevator. Eleven escaped shortly after that
Is it a coincidence to know number 3 from series Stranger Things has the same power as number 3 from umbrella academy, namely Allison. I mean, they are both number 3 and their strength is infulence people's mind 🤯

I was thinking the same thing. Sounds like Kali had to have escaped sometime after 1974; that might have either led to others escaping or Brenner realizing that one child was much easier to control than several. But I was thinking Kali might have used her powers to make it look like a massacre happened and in the ensuing chaos, just took off. Eleven would have been very young still if Kali's escape was shortly after Terry's attempt to get Eleven back. If she was the youngest (easiest to control) that may have been why he kept her. Apologies to anyone who's super deeply into it; I've just watched the show and don't get into the theories or additional media much.

@@jimmymccarthy7903 not sure but im pretty sure seasons 1 and 3 were released in July so its a pretty popular month for them to release a season. the only reason season 2 wasn't realized in july was because they wanted to release it near halloween.
@@ava-vx3ou if, just if, they continue releasing teasers at a consistant pace (477 days since the Russian trailer) the final trailer will release on October 17 2023. That would give them roughly a week and a half between the final teaser and Halloween to release season four. It’s kind of a stretch tho considering they’re probably going to releasing it sooner so that the new teasers stay relavent for marketing purposes.

I hate it when people reference/make links from the ST comics and graphic novels to speculate about the actual series. - they weren’t written by the Duffers or any other writers, and so unless the writers have specifically chosen to draw inspiration from them (why would they, they’ve got their own ideas) it has ZERO impact on the actual story. :) cool video though!

My theory is: Kale will come to Hawkins and ask where is Jane (Eleven), then she makes Mike see Eleven. From there, Mike asks who is she and how she made Mike to see Eleven. Their "dad" entered the room to see if the kid was ok, standing in his corner, not getting upset, so when the kid let his mind explode and kill every kid, he created the upside down. He was the most powerful kid from there. Thank godness El was in her code room, that's why someone told her: "Eleven, are you listening" and Eleven waked up because it was 3 AM and she was kid. She heard the horible sounds coming out of the room. After that she said in her mind: "I. Have. To. Go. Away." The same, El got out, got to that restaurant where Eleven first apeared in the story. BACK TO OUR TIME! Eleven get's her power back, with the help of kale, and becomes the strongest kid that was ever there.

It seems all of the children are playing games to enhance or test precognition; chess, Magic 8 Ball, Plinko are to accurately predict future moves or outcomes. The child with the blocks just seems to be engineering or perhaps later telekinesis? It seems Brennen was interested in controlling future outcomes or capitalizing on precognition. Perhaps this season will see an expansion of 11's powers in this area.
