Wow, What a difference a day makes. You look & sound like a completely different person, the water is super clear and there's fish! Congratulations on another 1st! 🏆Scamp🏆x2🏆 🏆 Dog Snapper🏆 Great vid & pics 24:32 and love the voiceover. Incredible day! That's what you drive 20 hours for! 💪👏
Nice, all those pics must be really saved .. ONE day when you all turn 65 will look back and check them out and say … man we had fun back then ! 👍 If you get ( prepare ) a nice chump bag and drop it with a line by the center of that Oil Rig let’s say at -50 feet of water you’ll be surprised what’s gonna emerge from down there .. that 72 years old man is my IDOL !
Braden that was a top of the line trip for sure. Non stop action from the gate. After the wahoo it just kept getting better. Talk about a mixed bag of big fish, that day is going to be hard to top. Thanks for the awesome chronicle ❤
I live in Destin and spearfish all the time that benthic spearfishing store is great they have a great free diving course great video man love seeing all of the different trophy species that you get
It would take a lot for me to give over the fear of being in water that deep! All I could think about is jaws coming and eating me. I know it’s not practical and are more likely to die by a falling coconut, and I see people spear fish with sharks everywhere and do it without any fear. I would love to be able to get rid of that fear because this would be such a fun hobby to have
I saw a panga like that on west delta Memorial Day weekend. If you saw somebody with an LSU colored fishing shirt slinging a sabiki around the rig y’all were tied to that was me lol
Congratulations! Great job 👍 I like seeing you kids getting into spearing. Good job on braining and bleeding in the water. Advice from an old timer is go ahead and gut them too. There are a number of benefits as a waterman to doing this. It Introduces nutrients directly back into the environment, promotes feeding of the smaller fish and improves the quality of your meat. Also scientifically as soon as the fish dies it secrets a chemical that parasites can detect in the gut and they start burrowing out of the gut through the flesh to exit the body.
Bro, your going too have too do a full moon night, with two forward light, and chest back lights, and see what's hanging out in the dark..you will love it everything g is bigger, rent a rebreather, take the classes, and nobody that seen is hunting at depth with bubbleless rebreather..at night.
Trigger is my favorite eating fish in the ocean, that’s our target fish on the east coast of Florida. Yes shooting a huge grouper is awesome and definitely a trophy fish but how can you pass up a nice trigger??
Hello, I'm new to your channel and the sport honestly. I read a news article about your June 3 trip to Port Aransas and was amazed by the photo of you and your catch! Have you heard the results yet?
Dude when I was younger I used to spear fishing my point is that a spearfishing nowadays with the videos in RUclips or other people watching them they're going to generate more people or going to the ocean and killing the fish with a spear I don't think it's fair it's too easy
So you’re saying diving down 80 plus feet is too easy? On top of the dangers of drowning and not being at the top of the food chain? Where did you spearfish?
Congrats on your world record cubera!!!!🤿🏆🏆🏆 Hopefully you have that on video!!! Seriously man that is awesome. I've been followimg since you started on the jetties years ago! 🏆🏆🏆you are the man!!!
“Big thanks to Ridge for sending me this wallet and supporting the channel! Here’s the site if you
want to check them out! > ridge.com/bradensherron
Please tell me that video is coming….
Buddy gave that Cobia the Miami handshake 😂😂
😂😂😂
If you’re ever in the Florida keys, you should do a video with key west waterman. Y’all would a great video together!
Almost went down there this week to dive with some of the guys in this crew.
Would love to go at some point!
Arron is an incredible diver! He's the closest to how we learned to respect the waters in Hawaii and Washington in the 70's.
Absolutely, that would be a great collaboration.
I agree that would be sick
I agree😊
I'm 55 and always wondered how long I'll keep on with spearfishing and this 72 years old guy made me stop wondering!thanks for sharing Braden
I’ve wondered how long I’ll be able to dive! Hopefully I can be diving in my 70s!!!
I appreciate it, glad you enjoyed the video!
30:16 28 STAB WOUNDS! 💥
😂😂
Your friend went full OJ on that cobia lol
Lol, sure looks gnarly but definitely put the fish out.

Glad you enjoyed the video, appreciate it as always!
Beautiful Scamps, best eating fish in the ocean in my opinion!
I remember spearfishing the oil rigs in the mid 70s and a 200 lb grouper was not uncommon.
CONGRATS! EPIC catch/spearing!
Thank you!!!! Glad you enjoyed!

Can’t recall the bottom depth- but the tops of most of them are around 60-100
Great video as always. 🤙
When ya posting the cubera?
What kind of camera do you use in the water?
Good job master
You are so great at freediving that you can dive to 30 meter to hunt
Dude. I just saw an yahoo article about you spearing a new record for a snapper. Please tell me you got it on video? Congrats man
Hello from Virginia 🇺🇸👍
What's the loud horn noise coming from and what's it for?
The oil rigs beep when they are unmanned!
Hey bro how long can you hold your breath? I wanna try spear fishing but don’t think I have the lung capacity
Fucking Joe! Great to see you out there with the young bloods.
What an absolutely epic day y'all had. Congrats, boys.
💪💪 He was a champ with that wahoo! Never seen someone get towed so fast.

What kind of Gun did you use to spear the record Cubera snapper, just read the article..
Looks like the rigs out of Fourchon, am I wrong?
Great video
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed.
Where in LA are you SFing?

Nice video 👍.
What kind of camera is Ronnie's using in this video?
Braden, how long can you hold your breath underwater for. I wonder if I can do this types of dives myself.
I'm new to free dive spearfishing. Why don't you scuba, or do you?
Great video and catch dude! What camera are you and JD using if you don’t mind me asking?
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!

great video as always👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!!!
Wooww i like spearfishing
amazing . .
How deep is that? They look to be diving 100+ feet ?
Deepest dives you see in this video we’re around 80 I believe.
👍 Watching your channel 👍
how miles offshore is this?
Honestly not sure- we moved around a bunch and I wasn’t the navigation man this day! It was minimum 40 though
Did you just catch a 137 pound cubera?
Hello, I'm new to your channel and the sport honestly. I read a news article about your June 3 trip to Port Aransas and was amazed by the photo of you and your catch! Have you heard the results yet?
Isn’t the Grouper protected, or only the Goliath? Beautiful catches.
Just the goliaths 💪 thank you!
@@BradenDives Does the Giant taste good?
👏🏆👏Saludos desde Varadero.
What are your favorite spinner reels?
I’ve always really only used Penn, & like them!
how tf do you hold you're breath so long -a scuba diver lol
Practice and relaxation!!! The calmer you are the better you dive!
I thought your name was Brandon

@@BradenDives well heck! Lol! Had a big Panga in tow, so I was like dang must be Braden!
No shoes on the boat please …😌
Dude I'm 53 years old I did a spearfishing when I
Key west I'm from Miami in the keys you don't have to dive so deep to catch big fish
Congratulation just your article in Fox News !
..pretty sure these are not scamps. bet those are yellowmouth-groupers..
They are scamps! Check out the broom-like tails on them.
Just tell the truth is one of them ever bit you
One wallet plz?

Ronnie very clearly dont know what the hell hes doing.
