Hello Douk! I personally find the double dials in a single meter much more pleasing than two seperate meters 🥳! It gives out an nice retro vibe. Unshure about the company name mentioned in the VU meter though. If it gets painted also elsewhere, then would not put it on to the meter too. Name only printed into the in the VU meter is fine. Old vintage volt and ampere meters from the early 1900's can give alot of inspiration. Weston 606 ammeter gives out a nice vibe. I would like to see a tube (big if possible) preamp with a seven channel eq equipped with this double needle VU. Would not mind BT connection and a remote either. A Headphones jack in the front. All these things exist, already but not as a single device. Tube sound + EQ + Vintage VU nostalgia for me please 🙂👏
Many thanks for your suggestions, we have conveyed that to our PD and they will decide to start this new project or not. If there any updates I will let you know. ❤
@@doukaudio That's so great 😊! Would love to hear more about it. I think i called it a tube version of an "EQ-7 Pro" in a different discussion. Now possibly including the dual VU-meters too.. Ooh that would be so sweet. I could hook it up as a EQ/tube preamp into my vintage Bang & Olufsen series 1000 Beogram system and review what it brings more to a vintage audio setup. Exiting idea to think about, tube-EQ:ing pre-existing vintage warmth ❤️
Personally I didn't think adding aircraft parts/esthetics is a good idea, it's a piece of audio equipment not a plane! It would only make it confusing and make it look fake and over complicated!🤷🏻♂️ But I would like to see some Glow in the dark paint on the needels! The dial indicator needle arms look a bit thin! So some Orange or green luminescent paint would do the trick!!😉👍 And maybe use some blue or UV (ultraviolet) LED light to make them glow! 😃 💙🩵💚💛🧡
@@doukaudio Nice! Great design. Funny we never had this VU design years ago for recording studios. It would be so much easier especially for mastering engineers watching levels. I always found it a bit tough watching 2 meters levels wise on traditional meter set ups. Takes practice no doubt!
Cool!! 😃👍🤩
That is beautiful! I love the design of the meters. I like your idea of aircraft styling to it, or anything to give it a vintage feel.
Looks Superb !
Looks great. Esp the changing colour!

Looks to be a micro mixer gain only single stereo channel scenario.
Hi, the VU360 is not a mixer, it supports wired 3.5mm AUX and wireless MIC inputs, but only one can be selected at a time. 😅
@@doukaudio Ah!
