Not much has changed since 5 years ago although the product has revised with a new hdmi to av adapter. The product link is still good shown in the description of this video

Hi Randolph, there is no such thing as a dumb question with us! You may not use the radio function simultaneously while mirroring your phone. You will need to use audio from your phone instead. So for customers who would like to listen to the radio while mirroring we recommend you to download the radio application

The volume on the steering wheel controls will still function while mirroring your phone. Yes correct the car will show regular Lexus interface when you leave out of mirroring mode. You won’t be able to use joystick and controls with mirroring but you can keep using for factory controls

This kit will replace your AUX from inside the central glove box as the same music can also be played via smartphone mirroring kit. You may still use the USB connection from your phone to the glove box.

Correct. Installation is the same. Connectors will be different behind the radio, but it will be self explanatory once you look behind the radio.

If you look at the connector, you will find a tab on the top side. Push it down firmly and at the same time pull away from the push start assembly
