I'd use google maps with the mirror over the very outdated looking Toyota nav system any day of the week. When you look at that Toyota nav vs GM, Dodge, or Ford's system you really scratch your head wondering how many decades old it is.

It depends on the content you are mirroring. If you are mirroring maps and lock the phone, screen will go black. But if you are mirroring a video and lock the phone video will continue to play

I just received my if02ep and installed it on my 2017 RAV4 LE. I’m able to get my iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone SE to mirror but the resolution is cut off at the bottom on all 3 screen options. What Can I do to fix this issue?

This is will work. However you will need to put a hotspot in your vehicle as Chromecast does not allow to use the bandwidth from your phone.

I just received my if02ep and installed it on my 2017 RAV4 LE. I’m able to get my iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone SE to mirror but the resolution is cut off at the bottom on all 3 screen options. What Can I do to fix this issue?

Do you have to disconnect the batteries before the project?
