Raycast is excellent. I've mapped keyboard shortcuts for my commonly used window positions. Option 1 (left half screen), Option 3 (right half screen) etc. So useful if you have a numpad on your keyboard.
5:52 A lot of people probably already know that for the trackpad but maybe someone don't : to open a link in a new tab, hold on the link with 3 fingers for 1s. And if you're holding MAJ at the same time it will save the link in the reading list and holding OPTION will download the link.
Thank you for creating content that is so relaxing to watch while also being helpful! I find so many content creators now are overdoing it on the sound effects/visual effects, and exaggerated way of speaking and it is not enjoyable to watch. Your delivery is just perfect :) thanks!
You can customise hot corners to include keyboard keys. Example "Shift + Cursor". I dont find it annoying anymore. To enable just open the hot corner settings, click on any input like bottom right while pressing cmd/shift/etc.
Is Raycast able to do file based actions? Like marking 3 files send them to Raycast and creating a zip-archive? Or marking a few files and send them to a Programm to open? (Launchbar does that and I would switch immediately if Raycast would do that)
I just switch on Mac after 30 years on PC. i have 2 questions / problems : with 2 monitors, how to force Sonoma to wake up the MAIN monitor ? ( he always wake up the second one ! ). Second question : in finder, u can Zoom + or - icones and pictures with the "command+" and "command-" shortcut. how to do it with the mouse wheel ?
Hot take! I don't get Widgets on Computers. They are a huge waste of space! Especially on Mac. Mac has a Menu Bar and it's so useful, I have many different apps with shortcuts to them in there. They show much more info than those huge dumb iPhone widgets. And having those widget on the homescreen doesn't help at all! Alright I'm done with my rambling, does anyone agree?
Great video! First thing I do on a new mac... position dock on the right and hide that bitch. The amount of real estate that frees up (especially on a laptop) is game changing.
This video was actually SUPER helpful, especially those first few "view" ones. How has no one made a video like this yet?!

Funny story, don't have a MAC and probably won't ever, but always watch your videos, I find them so interesting.
Legend!
Can you make a video on the Whoop strap? I see that you were wearing it in this video!
Those finder settings are so much better
Hope I'll own a mac before end of year.....

Incredibly helpful video! Learned a lot about custom settings on finder. Thank you.
Looking forward to watch this video!
I love Raycast and use it all the time, but it was today that I learned the power of floating notes. Thank you!

Audio in Spanish, please
Raycast is the best, I love all the extensions.
That media key controller is something I've been looking for forever!
Absolutely loved this video. I've been using MacOS for a few years now, but I still love benefiting from little tips like these. Much love Oliur.
As a long time MacOS user, this was incredibly helpful. Thanks, Oliur!
