3:17 recognizes that the laser is completly useless because it is attached to the scissor so i moves with it instead of pointing a fixed straight line on the paper along which u can cut.

The idea is to use it like a sight- if you want to cut straight towards a set point, the laser will show if you've deviated
You could cut out a circle and the laser would show you that you cut a straight line.

The point is to line it up with a point of reference. So use the laser to draw a point across the paper or whatever youre cutting and then keep the laser aligned with it.

Can I just say how much I love this guy? I heard about him via that one vid of him with the fake ice cream, and ive been a fab ever since. His channel never ceases to fascinate me as he shows off his collection. And that small chuckle he always gives at the end of his videos always makes me crack a small smile. I genuinely hope this guy gets more popularity as time goes on, and i hope he makes his collection larger and larger.
