The "glitch" solution is in fact what I tried first, and found first... I did end up finding the "intended" solution after further investigation, a cool small puzzle (also won me a bet c;)

No, Hammer. All the puzzles you can use a hammer, except maybe that giraffe one, the pieces are too different to make it fit without breaking it into wood chips.

I really like this puzzle because unlike some of the other puzzles like the Impossible Dove Tail Box or Da Vinci's Helicopter, it doesn't depend on hitting/moving it in some random way. It's purely logic and an ingenious solution.

I figured it out before watching the solution. I know some ring and ball puzzles require you to pass the ball through the ring. And I noticed the board is the same size as the hole. from there the rest was simple. all in all I noticed the solution in about 20-25 seconds.
you can also take the ring along the bottom along the string, stick it through the elongated section then down the string over the ball and the 100 sign. do the steps in reverse to put it back together.
The solution you explain may not be intended is actually how I immediately thought of how to solve it in about 20 seconds of looking at it in the video. It’s similar method in that it starts on the either side of the ball, and takes a sort of inverse course to what you call the intended solution

I saw the first few things I needed to do in after looking at it for only a couple seconds. After about 60 seconds, I solved it the way you showed. But as far as the glitch solution goes, I do not belive that a puzzle has any wrong way to solve it unless it has instructions placing down some specific rules.

What if the 2nd solution is just that a 2nd solution. Finding the quicker solution is all about IQ right, the faster you can figure something out.
