The name "Argus" is interesting, especially because of the reoccurring phrase "Now my eyes are yours". This cult or something or other seems to have a thing for sight/eyes, which is why the name "Argus" is so fascinating, as it related to a "monster" from Greek mythology. Argus is a creature with 100 eyes all over its body, and the ability to sleep with only two of them closed, allowing him to be aware of his surroundings, even while asleep. I just watched all of these. They are works of art. I won’t be able to join you for the live twitch, because I stay away from twitch. But look forward to watching the finished video. I hope you can continue doing these. I love this whole concept with the story.
Long time watcher, first time commenter. Completely and utterly amazing. Can't wait to see where the next one takes you. THough I will say that using the head mounted GoPro really did help experience everything just as you were experiencing it.
Go pro made a big difference! Time to buy more batteries for it so you can swap them.

I really want a puzzle series like this.
However, 30k is a little insane lol. Plus I know after I solve it once it would probably just sit there until I torture the next person who rings my doorbell.
Idk its extreme it prob like 3k not that otherwise he'd be I'm dept unless he a billionaire
Actually he a millionaire soooooooo it only puts a dent in his wallet
It's just plywood. Making one must be expensive but if he made one thousand it would be very cheap and still a very rare puzzle.
@@chrissibersky4617 but still a fricken pokemon card is more expensive then this puzzle a pokemon is 26k scratch the most expensive was literally 195k for a fricken shadowless charizard

super cool puzzle by all means, but damn for 30k they should have at least used all hardwood lol
Nah, laser etched metal
Next he’s just gonna get an escape room size puzzle
@Brian Cairns yes a marble puzzle
That's an awesome idea.

Labsterium not only builds the worlds best puzzles that I've seen, but the craftmanship is top notch as well, and the storyline that they have made around these is the same reason I'm addicted to hidden puzzles games like five-bn games, they take puzzles and layer them into unique storylines
I've been woodworking for many years and I'm blown away at the intricacy that goes into these boxes. Think I might give making one a shot
You need to go to college for that

If you haven't seen the video. It technically a die. The eye is the 1 and you can see the moles on top being 4. It is also electronic and can be turned on to blink realistically

Lets take a moment to appreciate the hard work of the puzzle makers. 👏
"This is just like The Room game."
The second I saw the puzzle, and heard the word "Oculus", the first thing that came to mind was The Room and House of Da Vinci. My brain started looking at the puzzle like something from those games.
Da Vinci?!
I think it really is from the game, like a real life replica or something like that
@@CallMeSeff its game, you can find it on playstore. its paid though, they have two series for this game
The room series are great!
More people need to play the house of da vinci games too.

Absolutely fantastic 😀 x

@@Fission889 There is two more chapters of "The Room" and also "The house of Da Vinci" wich is similar to the room by the concept, but is longer and with another story! Enjoy yourself!
This is such a beautiful puzzle, I love solving these puzzles and watching you because in a way by solving it you're getting into the mind of these artists that build these amazing crafts.
That was pretty sick. Those guys are building some insane puzzles. I like the GoPro angle. The more angles you can get, the better. Granted most will just be burning memory cards but it will allow for a more immersive experience for the audience after it’s edited down for the final video.

Which amounts to.. 30k?
Edit: After finishing the video i still dont personally get why theres a 30k price, but i did find it cool as heck to look at, so i can see that it would probs hold that value to some people.
@@Skyflairl2p probably because of the amount of work and time spent on creating this puzzle along with all the detail work and programmed hardware involved
@@Skyflairl2p you’re right. Mass manufactured this would cost maybe 8k or more. But this is each handcrafted and takes a lot of time.... and people have to be compensated for that time in order to make a living off of a commodity like this

This was the greatest 37 minutes I’ve spent on RUclips in years.
And 20 seconds
That's pretty sad.
12:45 The last time someone played a game with magnetic pieces, Robin Williams got stuck in a jungle.

This reminds me of the game “Room”, fun!
Man that was insane.i was literally yelling at my phone when stuff was opening, you should really do a live stream with one of this to get the fans involved
It would be really cool live stream, but unlikely to happen since these types of puzzles require 4-5 camera set ups and hours of editing
@@kalin9015 well sure but then have them design less complicated puzzle specifically made to included input from fans during a livestream!

Without disassembling the puzzle how do you keep that Eye of Argus charged for when you want to use it?
Maybe wireless charging
The company or ppl who makes these types of boxes charge the tablet before sending it to u.. by the looks of it.. tht device only serves one purpose unlike a phone tht has million tasks running at same time which drains the battery fast.. so I'm assuming on a full charge this device could last 2-3 days maybe more.
there was a wire plugged in to the box while he was solving it
imagine ignoring the box for so long cuz u got stuck, and when you're in the mood for it, the tablet died and no plug for charger.
Im sure it had to come with a charger right? They must have something in place for that cause he said he was charging it

Tying the name in with the groups interest in sight!
