This is the first cigar I ever smoked, I remember smoking so many cigars after it thinking I was lucky to win the lottery on the first try. Still my favourite
Love how we get history and backstory in the hard working aficionados that keep the cigar industry going along with the flavors of these awesome stogies.
Not sure if highly spicy cigars would be my thing, but that jacket is A+
Very underrated cigar. Never disappointed.
I don't know why that is, but I could watch the slow-motion shots of Ant smoking, accompanied by the relaxing music, just all day long.
I LOVE this cigar
Your a great story teller! Appreciate the history...
I love to pair this cigar with a glass of red wine. A match made in heaven!
Do you have a favorite wine to pair with cigars?
One of my favorite, earthy sweetness …very enjoyable!
Very good cigar, highly recommend this one.
Just got one from one of the cigar shops in Texas. Will try it later on right before bedtime.
What did you think?
@@holtscigars enjoyed it very well good flavoring and good draw
One of my favorite cigars. Consistently good ❤
What a great cigar aged 5 years even better
I smoked it last Saturday, loved it.
Wowww viva Honduras mi tierra ❤, gracias amigos
Good Evening 😊 Another Awesome Video 👌🏽 Thanks Mate 👏🏼👏🏼 Greetings From South Africa 🇿🇦
Very good stick. I keep a few around for when I'm in the mood but not an everyday for me.
Had a Magic Toast about 3 months ago and it’s a memorable flavor profile
Glad you agree 🙌
Got the Alec Bradley sampler a bit ago from you guys, still have both my magic toasts in there, I’m excited now, also just got my AJ Fernandez 10 cigar sampler in the mail, always great quality product and extremely fast shipping good packaging, don’t sleep on these guys, constant bang for your buck deals always a good buy, many blessings to your business and family❤️
🙏 🙏 🙏
Just had one of these a couple weeks ago for the first time and thought it was really good.
Great video. I need to obtain that stick
Pepper, coffee and earth flavor notes for me. Great stick 🤟
Very enjoyable cigar.
Love the AB Magic Toast smoked my local brick and mortar out of them.
Excellent cigar
I really want to meet Anthony someday to thank him in person for being my official cigar dad! Also he has inspired me to really learn and I am now looking to become a cigar sommelier! I want to start making my own cigars too!
Sounds like it's time for a Philadelphia trip 👀
@@holtscigars yes!! I’ve always wanted to visit so why not! I’ve more got the trifecta of reasons: Holts. Rocky. And fresh prince of bel-air lol
Magic toast is my second favorite behind Caldwell the industrialist
Mazz, please give us an Olmec Claro review if you can.
We'll see what we can do!
Great cigar
One of my favorites.
Sounds like a fine bottle of wiskey and some shrooms...LOL.
Just kidding, no pun intended.
Love the history lesson/s you give and share. Makes it more personal and intimate when smoking this and all cigars.
☝️💯
I really enjoy your videos very informative as a very new cigar smoker I started with the Ashton classic. Recommended by you. I also enjoy a whiskey every now and then what do you think would pair well with the Ashton classic.
Anthony, As I most always agree with your assessments, I cannot agree on Alec Bradley. I purchased an All Star Sampler from Holts some months back and checking my personal notes I rated the magic toast the lowest rating I have given a cigar in years and it had to do with a "weird" flavor I got from it such as some kind of metallic note. Not good. I also had the family blend which had poor construction and it was a hassle just trying to keeping it burning. I ended up tossing it. The Prensado has been good and the AB Connecticut was very good but I think I am over AB. On an unrelated note I did enjoy a Davidoff Aniversario #1 Limited Edition ( a gift ) with some Blue Spot 7 year cask strength for St. Paddys day and it was delightful. I have a bunch of relatives in "P" town this week. I hope a few shall pop by Holts for some cigars or Ashtons for some relaxation. Keep up the good work and best regards, JZ
Thanks JZ! Not every cigar is for every enthusiast, but it's all about the journey and finding what's in your wheel house 👊
Huh way kewl,... Definitely gotta try one now. Think my BnM has them haha unless their gone now. Thats how it goes tho
What are the best 5 cigars you have ever smoked ?
Tried smoking one tonight and was unfortunately met with a dud. It was a gordo, and I couldn’t get it to burn right. I gave up before the end of the first third. I dissected it and to my surprise I found a STEM that was as long as the full cigar! Really upset but not gonna write off the line yet
Every cigar deserves a second chance 😉
@@holtscigars Haha I have a 5er coming so maybe 5 chances !
I almost gave up on this cigar until I had one that actually smoked good, It turned out pretty good
Every cigar deserves a second chance 😉
I got this cigar about a month ago. I saw some reviews and they weren't so great... I've been holding off on smoking it 😅. May try it out tonight.
Taste is personal, you won't know if it's for your palate until you try it for yourself 😉
This one is in my wheel house, I do taste sweet chocolate notes from this although not a fan of the limited edition from this Line, the regular line is better in my preference.
Hmm, I always got milk chocolate from it. Never felt is was smoky. Difference in having a good palate and whatever I have.
Every palate is different! Trust your taste 👊
i personally bought a 5'er without trying one because they're fairly hyped...
That was like 6 months ago and there's still 2 sitting in my Humidor and I think I gave one away. Not for me.
Taste is personal
Why?
....and highly subjective. That's what makes it great. Enjoy what you enjoy.
@gcbwoods@@anthonymazzola4470definitely not knocking the cigar, for clarity. Taste is definitely subjective. And I'll smoke basically anything happily...these included. But. I wouldn't pick them over much else that I PERSONALLY enjoy a lot more.
Hey Anthony! Can you do a review of the La Aroma De Cuba Noblese? If you haven't already.
The new blend hasn't been released yet but we definitely will when we get it 👊
wish I was smart enough to start a channel where people watched me smoke high end cigars !
Mazza, what's your favorite stick?
ashton Vsg is his desert island cigar, from what i know
ESG!
@@holtscigars ohh yea esg!
I have many but Ashton ESG in my favorite
Shines with buffalo trace bourbon.
🤤
I’ve never tried the Magic Toast- so it’s time to give it a whirl…..
Magic Toast is unfairly judged by many of my friends and I just don't get it. Its easily one of my favorites.
Taste is personal! Everyone's palate is different
Great Cigar. I smoke two Alex Bradley a week.
🙌
This cigar is tasty.
Glad you agree 👊
@@holtscigars I had a Cuban aliados original blend after this and it was so tasty and sweet. It was like having dessert.
Just had my last of 5 the other day and I honestly do not like this one whatsoever😂 That's the cool thing with cigars though we all have different preferences and will taste things differently. Sad thing is I had even been holding on to that one for a couple months to see if some time in the humidor would help it and it did not so I will not be purchasing these anymore.
Exactly, taste is personal and not every cigar is for every enthusiast!
Did not like this cigar. Too earthy for me. Much prefer the Tempus.
I must of had a bad one. Mine had a tight draw and was very bitter. Not much flavor
Good cigar...... but
Overhyped
I find this is true for all of Alec Bradley, they smoke well but definitely their prices are whacked
Tried it, not for me
Nothing wrong with that 👍
I wanted to like the magic toast so badly, but it just didn't hit right for me.. maybe I'll try it again another time.
Not every cigar is going to be to your taste, but worth revisiting if you've only had it once. What blends do hit right for you?
Straight to the point. 4/10. Taste is/was/isn't then is, then isn't pretty good. When it's good, it's great.
Then came the completely hollow center parts and the canoing like you're hitting the lake. The burn on this thing is about the worst I've smoked. I mean hollowed out.
It wasn't until well over halfway the burn sort of evened out. By then the flavor was almost off-putting. I laid this to rest with over ⅓ left.
I’m sorry but this cigar is terrible I still have another one in my humidor that I won’t smoke
Not every cigar is for every enthusiast. Taste is personal 👍
Hey something not by:
My Father
Fuente (Ashton)
Padron
Or Olivia!
Way to broaden your horizons paizon!
Just tried this the other week.. first inch and a half was magical.. the rest, like every other AB I’ve ever had, was trash
Funny, a few comments here say “not for me” with no explanation. Probably women, being argumentative for no reason 😂
i mean if someone was to say, they like the cigar, do they need to explain?
This cigar isn’t for me, has burn issues and quality control issues, the taste is fine, it’s solid but nothing i would buy a box for
@@lestagez Mazz gives plenty of reasons why he likes this cigar. If someone were to say that they like it as well, it can be safely assumed that they agree with his points. You gave a couple of reasons. Cheers to you.
