WOW ! Amazing, beautiful, blown away!! Enjoy your beautiful DW ! Thanks so much for sharing your new custom Dw !! So happy for you , enjoy these for the rest of the journey just stunning, they sound so Amazing !!
I been in love with dw for years. I was at church one day (king Jesus ministry) and my friend and one of my drum instructors (Alberto Vargas) was using a Dw collectors cherry maple. He’s literally the reason why I been such a fan and lover of Dw. And when it comes to Eric Moore II…. He made me want to be more creative with having ideas of owning my own custom kit and custom sizes no matter what.
Nothing beats that cherry spruce warmth absolutely amazing. Looks like a beauty and the sound is just as beautiful. Great playing as always brother 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Wow, gorgeous finish and the sound, ufffff, amazing...the 57 on the "gong drum" didn't help much sound wise but, read that you've replaced/added a bottom mic... I personally own a DW Collectors in Cherry wood and the sound of Cherry is amazing. Thanks for sharing your drums. 🥁
Really good looking kit , it the flat black dw kit needs a home I would gladly take it , if you felt like doing something for charity. Your new kit sounds great and you Rock , have a great day God Bless
Beautiful Finish!! I would have went with deeper shells...see more of that gorgeous finish! How long from when you placed your order until it arrived at your house? Congrats!
Thank you! She is a beaut! As much I agree about having deeper shells to get more of the finish, the shallower shells sound better. Less wonky resonance. More fundamental tone of the shell/note. Plenty of punch and bottom end.
@@ChrystianKaplan I'm a confirmed DW guy and like non-traditional tom voices like you however I prefer old school 14x14 & 16x16 floor toms as opposed to fast toms. By 'wonky resonance' do you mean a longer decay? I played Ludwig tubs for 20 years, those darned things rang for days and I grew to hate that.
@@DAGDRUM53 I find with the "square" tom sizes, the longer length of the toms not only makes the drum resonate longer/longer decay, but also the resonance of the heads start to fight each other since it takes the air longer to travel in the shell. They are out of sync with each other. Sounds like they're competing especially when there's no muffling/dampening. That's what I've noticed. I find the shallower toms are easier to tune and you get more of the fundamental tone of the drum.
Yeah. I've always preferred 13" over 12" as my main rack tom but I love the having the higher pitched 10" for setting up a larger drum fill or adding a some flare depending on the song/part.
Beautiful kit, just a question floor bass drum..??? What is inside?? It doesn't come resonance, sound like you put pillow inside?? I would put everything out to get really open sound.... But it is your drum kit.... Great kit
Hey John. When I made the video, I had an SM57 micing the floor bass drum from the top which made it sound less resonant and punchy. Just more attack and less body. I have since placed a mic underneath and it sounds more like it should now. Punchy, boomy, and more resonant.

Thank you so much, Edwin! Glad you enjoyed the video.

Cherry Maple sound great too! And Eric Moore is a monster of a drummer. DW is constantly innovating and I love the palate of sounds they have.

Thank you so much, Brynner! Appreciate you! Nothing beats this configuration IMO.

@@ChrystianKaplan Thanks for the confirmation on the square toms. I'm like a mother with my DWs, no moms find fault with their babies.

Which acoustic drums do u suggest for beginners?
In budget range!!!
PDP are DWs budget friendly brand. I recommend those if you’re on a tight budget.
@@ChrystianKaplan any specific model in pdp , u r suggestion?
PDP Concept Maple are a perfect beginner set and price.

@@ChrystianKaplan Even 3 inch spread too, 10 13 16.
I just know most 2 up, 2 down setups these days tend to be 10, 12, 16, 18
@@ChrystianKaplan 10's and 13's are very versatile.
Where did you order those drums?
Hey Jayden. I ordered them directly from DW but you can order from any DW retailer.
I never liked the camco round lugs.
