    The Gingerbreads in Germany usually have a wafer on the bottom not icing it might have icing on top though.
    That's because the gingerbread cookies were originally made by monks in a church and so the wafer used is like
    the wafer you get if you go to church in the US and take Communion ,the wafer that's the body of Christ .
    You guys look like you're having so much fun over there in Germany at Christmas time .
    Great video guys , keep'em coming .
    Bye ,bye !

      We bet! We have been getting a lot of hate that people say the European Christmas Markets are too expensive. We are tempted to make a stop over just to show how crazy it is in the states. We have one in San Diego, our hometown, that is such a money grab. We might share when we get back from Tallin.

    • @tosa2522
      @tosa2522 2 дня назад

      @@HeresGoodTravel Regarding the prices shown in Chicago, I wondered whether the sales tax was already included or whether it would be added on top. Then the quantities of roasted almonds, for example, were only indicated in small, medium and large without giving the exact weight. Incidentally, the large portion cost over 20 dollars.😳

    One of the 10 most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany is undoubtedly in Sankt Wendel in Saarland with stalls you've never seen before: medieval market, elf market, and normal Christmas market. Some say it's the most beautiful of all.
