Cuanto me reí viendolos patinar 😂 Gracias por traer TANTA alegria 🥰 I actually laughed out loud 😂 This was such a fun, light and sweet Christmas video 🎄More, please!!
Thank you! Next I would love to see a turron and mazapan tasting at home. I've away from my native Spain for decades, here in Australia I really miss Spanish Christmas sweets.
Spent Christmas in Bilbao and San Sebastián a couple of years ago and loved it! The Basque traditions were evident everywhere and the festive Santo Tomas markets, held on 21 December every year, was like a farmers rural market on steroids! Simply amazing foods and specialty Christmas dishes.
Fun video. James, your previously mentioned dislike for these Christmas markets is obvious in your humor. I was in London in mid-Nov. and there was a German-themed Christmas market in front of the National Gallery, right across from my hotel on Trafalgar Square. Much smaller and not as much variety. Most people were just sitting in the beer garden section. In late Oct., checked out the Daviz Muñoz spot, The Hungry Club, at the T4 Satellite departures area at Madrid Airport. Delish food. Happy holidays 🎄 to you and your family.
Yo creo que la gracia es... XD que la pista de patinaje de Plza España está patrocinada por "Seguros Santalucía"... 🤣 Si te partes la crisma te encasquetan el seguro y te cubren la rotura de rodillas.
Too funny, I remember our first Christmas tree was Aluminum with a color wheel, at 4 yrs. I was mesmerized by it. The price of a real tree today here in the states is crazy, so scented candles with a pine scent seems more reasonable, but I get what you’re saying James. Great to see you and Yoli enjoying the holidays, and really appreciate you sharing the sites and food with us. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays🎄💕👍
I used to be a roller skater but I did try ice skating just once and the two are not the same as someone once told me. My daughter has been ice skating since she was five. She competed in figure skating competitions and is an excellent skater. In summary, I will not be ice skating any more.
I always love your videos and you are the best at showing the best parts of Spain and its culture. But knowing that people put those figures in the Nativity scene is so depressing to see… I guess people can justify anything nowadays. We have the Crucifix because it’s a reminder of the greatest sacrificial love for us, and inspires us to live for others and love as much as we can. Can people leave Christianity alone already! We don’t do these things to other religions!!!
Christmas in Spain wasn't a big deal years ago. You'd hardly notice it. Not many decorations, no piped music, or tat being sold. It was Reyes that was important. Unlike in the UK, but it's so commercialised these days everywhere. Christmas goods have been in the supermarkets since September in UK, by the time it comes round you're heartily sick of it all. The obscene amount of food consumed I'm talking huge trollies filled to the brim, only for the same people to be out filling trollies full on the 26th here. It's complete madness.
Yeah, I can imagine that. I does feel like a lot of these traditions are imported. Of course, there is a big nativity scene tradition, which is interesting.
Obscene amount of food? Then, donate it to the poor! Not your disgusted by it! How selfish of you to say' you're lucky to eat 3 times a day or more than that! There are tens of thousands or millions of people dying of hunger & then dare to say your disgusted 😤 😒 😑
Not a fan of Muñoz, I think he's too full of himself. I wouldn't have queued! I would have probably gone straight for the croquetas! Although those food markets are expensive! And the tió tradition is very catalan and not a lot of people knows about them outside there. A catalan guy on internet wanted to convince me that it is also popular in Valencia... I still have to see one here! And yep, Yoli is right! We had a plastic Xmas tree for years, till it was too old and we just didn't but a replacement. It was at our home before I was born, so probably it was used for 45 or 50 years.

I was in spain last year at this time. I love Christmas in the park , hot wine, and food.

Lovely video❤🎉
You can also get the Pollos Muñoz on Glovo and not have to wait in line!
Good point!
Great video
Clearly the best part of the Spanish Xmas market is the food truck.
I love Spain, but I prefer spending Christmas in snowy Central Europe with beautiful Christmas markets. Merry Christmas!🎄

haha yes, not the biggest fan on the Spanish ones. Would love to visit the the German ones!
@@spainrevealed....I agree. Other than the crazy food, most stuff seems like collectible clutter.
Maravillosa pareja no entiendo ingles pero oa oigo hablar y parece como si estuvieses cantando villazincos
Awesome video of MADRÍD ✅

Liking the video just because of the "Soup Nazi" reference.
100%

I'm neither a roller skater, blader or ice skater. haha so it was certainly an experience.
🥰
I want to try bambas al ajillo.
And now you can make fitness videos about how to get rid of all those calories ^^
La primera 👏👏 Yoli you you are glowing😊
I don’t like that tradition of that “grosteque” figurine
😊 thank you
Is Yoli secretly a professional ice skater?
Probably!
At least you can reuse a plastic Christmas tree

I think Munoz is a great marketer. And yes, his food is delicious. But it's usually not my cup of tea!
I love spain, but their christmas markets.....its all chinese cheap crap. A christmas market in a small german or austrian town is way cooler
I didn't like the cover photo of this video .Disgusting... Christmas is something else guys.🫤
