It looks like it's going after Sony's PS-LX310BT, the improved tonearm looks very similar too. It trumps it too with an inbuilt but very capable AT-VM95C cartridge which has a great range of upgradable styli. Specs and looks wise, this may be the new budget starter turntable king, big improvement over the LP60X
Very good entry level turntable. Me and my partner bought one a little over a month ago, had no issues at all, and enjoying our vinyls. We got the AT-SP3X speakers to go with it, even though they are small speakers they do pack a good punch. Later on down the track I want to upgrade the stylus (thinking Orange possibly), and then maybe upgrade the speakers to some bigger ones down the track.
I've been thinking about getting into vinyl but not trying to break the bank. This might be the one And I was just sitting here wondering about the Sony Bluetooth one and the lp60bt decision decisions.. Love the idea I can upgrade the stylus that's a win
Now if Audio Technica could just combine the best features of the other fully automatic turntable, the LP3X (replaceable cartridge, counterweight, anti skating) with the looks of this new model (size, button placement, color), we'd have a really great automatic turntable. Seems like all the best efforts are always aimed at manual units since those are so fashionable these days...
My auto play is not working properly. When I push start, the vinyl spins, but the arm just sits there. When I push stop, the arm moves slightly to the left, ultimately lifts up and plays the record. If I push stop again, it returns by itself and stops. If rather than pushing stop, I manically go to slightly adjust the track it’s on, it bounces back to the starting spot, then moves back to the start of the vinyl. Any tips? Not having luck on Reddit or the manual
This is a nice update of the LP60xbt/LPGOxbt. Now one can change out cartridges to customize sound.

An upfront speed/pitch control would have been nice. Perhaps when the LP80X comes out in a few years.

No counterweight on the tonearm?
Hi there! The LP70x series does not have a counterweight because it is self-adjusting, with a tracking force of 1.8-2.2g. - A-T USA
Too bad there is no volume control to pair it with ipod earphones unless you want it to be played at max volume and go deaf.
Too expensive to make a fully automatic direct-drive turntable? Peace.
I'd buy it
This or LP3xBT?
Anyone else have skipping issues with this model? Going to have to send mine back 🙄
