    Thank you for sharing. I have some white tack and the other ingredients you used, time to make me some beautiful scented putty. I have some that I’ve purchased so I have a comparison for the end results.

    Great video. Some people have also suggested adding cornstarch as well to cut back on the stickiness if it's too sticky. Does using mica powder cause it to leave color residue on the drills tho when using it?

    • @withelisabetta
      @withelisabetta  5 месяцев назад +1

      No worries, it doesn't leave any color residue, there's too little mica to stain! I've been using them for a few weeks now and I haven't had any problems

    You have NO idea how much I wish I had watched this video two weeks ago (which was when I ordered putty). Considering the fact that I live in a wee remote town in Canada’s Arctic, shipping costs were rather insane for what I was ordering even though it came from within the country. We are planning a trip south to Edmonton at the end of this month to celebrate my sixtieth birthday (😬), so I can pick up all of the items I need there. One question: would food colouring paste (Wilton’s wee pots of concentrated colours) work or would you recommend I stick with mica powders? I know me - I love me my colours! - and so little is needed, that I can’t imagine how long it would take to use up several packages or will I be including left over mica powder in my will? 😜 Also, would I find mica powder at an art supply store or is that something that is a special order?
    Thank you so much for figuring this out for all of us! I can see this as a fun way to craft materials for my craft! One final question (I promise!): now that you have been working with this for a few days, how long -approx crafting time - until you had to replace the putty (I am assuming that you had to clean it out and add new, but if I am wrong in that assumption, please let me know.)
    Sorry to be such a pain, but I don’t have the liberty to just “run to the store” for any of the supplies used here (or most any craft, for that matter). Hugs from Canada’s Arctic❣️❣️🇨🇦

    I had so much trouble finding a good wax/putty that would last and i tried everything under the sun, but i landed on tooth/and braces wax . You can find in where you buy tooth brushes!❤

      Putty form Amazon, as for the micas and the fragrances, I make my own cosmetics, so already had them , if I recall correctly I bought the micas from a german website named Gisellamanske and the fragrance oil form a British one....but I forgot which one. Thank you for asking!

    • @withelisabetta
      @withelisabetta  5 месяцев назад

      I think you can, after all it's wax, but you need to test it to see if it's sticky enough

      Thank you for sharing this, it is brilliant! I have some blue tack but when I try to use it all of it comes out in one piece and it is sticking to the drill I just put down. I hope this makes sense. Does this happen to anyone else and is there a fix for it? Thank you💗

    • @withelisabetta
      @withelisabetta  5 месяцев назад

      Just work the blue tack in your fingers for a while like I show in the video, than use it, you don't need to add micas or frangrances, they're just for fun! @@dustyscolourandart330

      @@dustyscolourandart330Make sure you have remove all the wax you may have had in that tip before. If there are any remains of wax the blue tack won‘t stick in the tip
