I’m team square. I love how the whole picture looks when it comes together. There are no gaps and it’s just so pretty and soooo shiny. I only buy DAC now. I’ve had the same frustrations you have had. Oh… the static drills - cut off a piece of a dryer sheet and stick it into the bag of drills before pouring them out and shake it a bit. It helps!!!! Can’t wait to see your finished project! I think I’ve completed around 30+ paintings and it seems as though they just end up larger and larger. lol. ☕️

I honestly have to say that I have been diamond painting for quite a few years and my very favorite is Evermoment. I have a ton of the ACs and so many problems with the black drills because I enjoy doing squares. I like having customs done of photographs or of my own artwork but they also have things that you can select from. Yes you are going to have to wait a little bit of time to get them but you are going to save a ton of money. In my opinion they have the top quality of square drills on the market.
I LOVE Diamond Art Club! I have no preference for round or square drills anymore. I love them both! Rounds are more sparkly and squares you get that nice click sound when you push them together.
Static is the WORST to deal with and is commonly caused by weather changes or in shipping😭 luckily, an easy solution to remove it is to cut up a dryer sheet into small squares. After that, you can put them in the trays/containers where you store the drills, shake them up, and leave them in there. I find this to be very effective, hope this helps!☕️

The static is hard. You can use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol or add a dryer sheet into the tray to remove static. You're amazing with circles, Riah. I personally love both. They have their own special querks!! Beautiful picture, cant wait to see the end result ☕️🥰

Static gaurd, blowing gently into the bag of drills and swiping with alcohol on a cotyon swab all work well too. I love DAC. I love both Squares and Rounds too.
Way to go placing round drills with tweezers! They work best with squares, but you did a great job. Diamond Art Club has changed their tool kits, so the washi and cover minder are gone, and they have changed their pens, too. You'll love the new tools. Hope you are enjoying your new kit!
😭 why would they take those out !? I’ve never tried their pens tho, I saw them at hobby lobby and was gonna get one but it was like 15 bucks (I’m cheap lol) so I decided against buying them. Do you recommend ?

☕ I just stumbled on your video I loved watching it. There are a couple different ways combat static. First dryer sheets cut them up into small squares and put them in with your drills. Also, you can get some alcohol and a Q-tip dip the Q-tip in the alcohol squeeze the excess liquid out of the Q-tip and run that through your drills. One more thing LOL if you breathe into your drills almost like you were going to fog up a mirror so you can write on it make that same breathe into the bag of drills it adds moisture and that will take away some static
So cute!! The only diamond 💎 painting I have done was a big one of Danny devito surrounded by flowers and it was only like a few bucks on a random markdown on amazon...and it turned out amazing and I got so lucky hahaha 😂 took me forever tho omg I'm worried about trying another !! ☕️

New to your channel. Great video! I love DAC. I’ve only done round drills because I’m scared to try the square 😊 I do have several in my stash though so I just need to suck it up.
I don't really have a favorite between circle & squared drills. I think squares are more fun to do, but i love the way both turn out. I love DAC canvases & from what i can tell, the circle drilled ones are more sparkly! Circle drilled DPs have more of a twinkle sparkle to them where as the square DPs are more defined & have a reflective glossy like sparkle. A few tips & tricks ive learned since DP are: yes, dryer sheets & rubbing alcohol is your friend ! I usually cut dryer sheets up into small squares & put one in each drill container/baggie. & wipe trays down with rubbing alcohol & a cotton pad. Washi tape works well to border your DPs due to the excess glue on the border, helps to keep lint & animal hair from sticking to it. Also, wrap the ends of your single & multiplacers with washi tape to fit into your drill pens better. Esp DAC drill pens & multiplacers . & put a piece of washi tape @ the bottom of your trays (it makes them line up better it seems & gives the rest a place to go that arent lined up). I think putty works way better than wax (even the museum putty thats only like $3 on amazon) but using tweezers or wax for ABs & special drills works best. Try not to press hard when picking them up or placing them helps alot & if using wax take a damp cloth or paper towel & keep it close by to wipe your tip on it before picking up your AB drills. It helps to keep the wax off the ABs (ive never tried this trick yet, but my sister told me about it & from what ive seen online with other people it works) also using a straigtning tool works wonders as well along with a rolling pin type tool for when your done with each section. Btw: alot of people dont know this but DO NOT SEAL YOUR Diamond Art Club canvases. It voids the warranty. Not sure about other brands. But like Amazon/temu/shein/aliexpress those types definitely seal them after your done (i use mod podge, but you can use a DP sealer or there are other options) but just dont seal your DAC paintings cause it voids the warranty. Hope this helps!
Hey, more engagement. I'm team square because you get a sharper smaller image and I hate the glue between the drills being open to catch dirt. Rounds go faster. I think they are equally shiny. ☕️

I put my drills in bottles & use pieces of dryer sheets to control static. I also use trays with taller walls so they do not jump out when shaking the tray. I love Diamond Art Club! I looked at DAC on Amazon and their own website. While they had really cute art, none I feel match my particular style. I really looked, too. I am not into paying that much for something I am not willing to hang on the way/use as decor. I fou d way cheaper and really cool art on Amazon from some unknown brands. I completely agree! There’s no way I could spend $70 + dollars AND 40 + hours on a picture I didn’t absolutely love. That’s why it took me so long to get into diamond painting. And even longer to try diamond art club, it’s not cheap! But it is quality. The drills are some of shiniest I’ve ever seen! I’m currently looking for similar drills on Amazon and Etsy so I can get cheaper kits and just use my own drills! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

DAC is very expensive, but I think it's worth it for not only the quality you get with the kits but for the fact that you're buying actual licensed art from the actual artist. I enjoy my craft more when I know the artists are getting paid.
I just kitted up my first DAC….first of all the drill train was not in order…secondly the drills were so full of static. I’ve been dp for years and haver never had had either issue. I usually enjoy kitting up but not this time
@riahpaigee oh and you can use dryer sheets too. Cut them up and shake the bag with it in there or pout them ontop of the sheet and pour them directly from the sheet into the container.

Take a dryer sheet fold it to a decent size, pour the drills on to it, fold over dryer sheet, give it some love (rub a dub-dub, and......BAMMMM. No more static (Ive been Dpainting for 6.5 yrs)
I completely get that! I definitely can’t afford their big paintings right now. It’s a splurge item for sure. The best thing about diamond painting in general is that you can find them for like 5 bucks on Amazon and places like that. Everyone should be able to afford to craft! 😩 💖💖💖💖💖
I bought a diamond dot club painting at Walmart. I opened it ready to start it and I was shocked that it wasn't a full sheet. I bought the snoopy one and it was snoopy, bird and flower. When I buy diamond dot from Amazon all different brands it was a full picture. Do u know if they r all like this?

Oh, trust me, cats can be a BIG problem while diamond painting. I can't count how many times my cat has pocket over my trays of diamonds on the floor.😅
Cats are a huge problem during diamond painting! They just want to walk all over your work! Also, the static is NOT just circle diamonds. I am currently working on the Midnight Laundromat by Ivy Dolamore. It’s a kit from DAC and all my square beads are static :(
Customer Support-a resounding NO!!! But their drills are uniform so no sorting. Purchased via Kelly & Mark but order cancelled. They didn’t bother to say they don’t ship to PO Boxes. Now I’ll ONLY buy at yard sales & thrift stores.
I use to think it was worth it but really no happy with the new kit. I liked my big and small sticker the cover minder and washi take and tweezers. Wlyes I can get washi tape and cover minders on Amazon but it's exciting opening the box and finding out what ones I got. Idk it just made it extra special. Yes I can get tweezers about anywhere but the black dac tweezers are the best any one that has used them knows what I'm talking about, and no the pink ones arnt the same and eww I don't like pink. The new pen is horrible. I have problems with all that taking it apart and putting it back together stuff. I've have to throw out so many cups because I can't open the lid and every time I have a bottle drink I have to have someone open it for me. Other than the new kit dac is Wirth it I say thay should -15 to 20$ for all of the stuff taken out. Oh and you get less birthday rewards also. Use to be 1500 now it's 500
Artdot has the cat thing on the back because the person who runs it has cats and also a lot of the members on the group have them to so she thought it would be cute to put it on the back :)
It really can get SO pricey! I like both realistic and fantasy/cartoonish paintings so the world is my oyster I guess 😂. I did a poll and realistic patterns won! Super excited to try it out! 💖💖💖

The no cats thing is a nod to an Etsy brand trays called catproof because of the lid so if it gets knocked over the drills and lid stay put.

☕️ I’m definitely team square and team DAC! The quality is just 1000x better than anything I’ve gotten from Amazon or SHEIN/temu.

Yeah, the static can be awful with DAC, not just rounds. I usually just breathe hot air and shake the bag to get rid of most of it.

Take a dryer sheet fold it to a decent size, pour the drills on to it, fold over dryer sheet, give it some love (rub a dub-dub, and......BAMMMM. No more static (Ive been Dpainting for 6.5 yrs)

I completely get that! I definitely can’t afford their big paintings right now. It’s a splurge item for sure. The best thing about diamond painting in general is that you can find them for like 5 bucks on Amazon and places like that. Everyone should be able to afford to craft! 😩 💖💖💖💖💖

I bought a diamond dot club painting at Walmart. I opened it ready to start it and I was shocked that it wasn't a full sheet. I bought the snoopy one and it was snoopy, bird and flower. When I buy diamond dot from Amazon all different brands it was a full picture. Do u know if they r all like this?

I’d say try a cheap kit first and I think rounds are a little bit easier so I’d start there oh and make sure it’s a design you really like , that way you’re motivated to finish it ! 💖💖💖💖💖

Oh, trust me, cats can be a BIG problem while diamond painting. I can't count how many times my cat has pocket over my trays of diamonds on the floor.😅
Cats are a huge problem during diamond painting! They just want to walk all over your work! Also, the static is NOT just circle diamonds. I am currently working on the Midnight Laundromat by Ivy Dolamore. It’s a kit from DAC and all my square beads are static :(
Customer Support-a resounding NO!!! But their drills are uniform so no sorting. Purchased via Kelly & Mark but order cancelled. They didn’t bother to say they don’t ship to PO Boxes. Now I’ll ONLY buy at yard sales & thrift stores.

I use to think it was worth it but really no happy with the new kit. I liked my big and small sticker the cover minder and washi take and tweezers. Wlyes I can get washi tape and cover minders on Amazon but it's exciting opening the box and finding out what ones I got. Idk it just made it extra special. Yes I can get tweezers about anywhere but the black dac tweezers are the best any one that has used them knows what I'm talking about, and no the pink ones arnt the same and eww I don't like pink. The new pen is horrible. I have problems with all that taking it apart and putting it back together stuff. I've have to throw out so many cups because I can't open the lid and every time I have a bottle drink I have to have someone open it for me. Other than the new kit dac is Wirth it I say thay should -15 to 20$ for all of the stuff taken out. Oh and you get less birthday rewards also. Use to be 1500 now it's 500
