You're ready for room treating home theater now! :)
Yes I am! haha
Looks good man! It’s always better to take your time to do something right & the way you want it as opposed to rush through to get something done to only have to redo it later!
100 percent! Thank you!!
@@CameronFleurymy dad used to call that working smarter not harder
Your dad is a man of wisdom.
@@CameronFleury yes he was!!! Thank you sir & keep up the good, wise work.
this was so informative and so cool also the ceiling cloud was cool, i guess it replaces the drum screeb (those foldable plastic pieces) also ethernet great call, and the room looks sleeeeeeeeeek
only questiom, is this room tailored to your current kit or cN it also match a kit with more cymbals?
cheers from scarborough/toronto
edit; could you change yhe color of the room if you wanted to or is that the default color because of acoustics, you also mentioned wanting to ad a few more things, would you want to clarify?
It can match a larger kit as well. The cloud covers my kit easily, and could definitely accommodate another drummers setup. Changing the colour of the room would just be a matter of painting and changing the fabric. As far as adding a few more things, that would include some diffusion and scattering in both the live room and mixing room. To give the recorded room a wider sense of space.
Wonder how much Glenn wants a space this big 😂
Guess well find out when he comes up to do a video! 😊
@@CameronFleury hehe nice! i hope the borders open up a bit a again, miss the dude
Not comparing sizes, but I've seen RdavidR's studio and he put his Room/Overhead microphones and attached them to his ceilings with mounts to save space. Any pros/cons in doing that technique?
More pros than cons! But, since rdavidr has a floating ceiling, he's able to hide the cables better than me. Plus, I'm looking to track bands in the near future, so having the mobility is essential as well.
@@CameronFleury I see why you did that then, good looks. Every band is different and getting different tones from mic placement is a thing, always in the same place can get boring/and or bland after a while.
@@djsusan00 100 percent! Another drummer may sound better in the opposite corner of the room.
