nice to see the weir has an island again, if anyone can remember back that far, 1982 you could almost walk right across the bottom, (but it was 2 feet of sticky clay, run and dive and slide and years later suddenly thinking of all that lost fishing gear we were sliding through).
Well my old line has certainly changed since I retired, too numerous to mention, but I will say the amount of housing next to the line after rockbank certainly blew me away, safe driving mate,👋👏👏👍
How does it work with what routes you drive, do you change what you drive? Like every week or something? I'd imagine it'd get boring doing the same route over and over again.
Jokes aside, I wish NSW trains would run at the speeds these Victorian trains travel. It would cut almost, if not a full hour of the trip from Broadmeadow to Sydney. I don't use Hamilton Station as car parking is scarce, and I *FLATLY REFUSE* to use that *UGLY MONSTROSITY* at Wickham!
Pretty sure the video of the railway tracks from Deer Park to Bacchus Marsh looks very new one and thanks for sharing us. 😉👌
Glad you enjoyed the video 👍 😊
Thanks for your very enjoyable video ride. We often travel by road to Bacchus Marsh so this journey was particularly interesting. Thanks again.
Very happy to hear you enjoyed the ride 😀 👍
We intend to use the train soon.

The changes along this line(and others) is fantastic!

Very happy to hear you liked it 👍 😊

I remember that. There were a few items sticking out of the mud 😀👍

When I was younger, it was just paddocks. It is amazing to see it now. 👍😊
Where did the old line go before the Caroline springs station pls?
That is a siding. Runs across the paddock to a ballast siding. Has not been used for a number of years now 👍😊
The newer vlocitys that are around now is there anything different about them?
There are small modifications to the cab structure and layout and some updated electricals but they are the same basic unit. 👍😊
Nice ride - what is the max permissible speed on this section?
160kph. Glad you enjoyed the video 👍 😊

I do a different route everyday. Keeps me interested 😀👍

It was crazy closing Newcastle. We are certainly lucky in Victoria to have a state government that is pro rail. 👍😊
@neilforbes416 the top speed these trains can do is 120km
@neilfrobes416 you don't use the newcastle interchange
@@top40researcher31 *NO!* And it will *NEVER* be used by me! And it's *NOT* in Newcastle, it's in *WICKHAM!*
