As a teacher, I can say from personal experience that landing a kickflip in front of a group of middle and high school students will earn you the ultimate tier of respect 🤘🏻
Bro the dudes like only in his twenties lmao He's not a kid but hes not no old man Most people in our 20s and even into there 30s still party and stuff
Relating to your students is so important for high schoolers. This guy took his youth skills and used it to build a relationship with these lucky boys. Respect was oblivious, attention was held, and a beautiful foundation for learning was built. Someone needs to sponsor this king.
I hope to become a teacher in the future. I currently work with K-8 but look forward to becoming a high school teacher and building lasting relationships with the students. I had a teacher that greatly impacted me in high school and completely made me change for the better, he's the main one that inspired to do that. I can only imagine the impact this teacher will have on all his current and future classes. What a true GOAT
It's not something you really forget how to do like the footwork is all still there in the mind. Landing it is another thing though, fair play for landing it first attempt in years
My students once skateboarded out on the schoolyard. I borrowed one and nailed a treflip on the first attempt. This is the only time I have ever nailed a treflip (but I am usually quite close). Decided to never let those particular students ever see me skate again. I might become some sort of a legend.
I was a Spanish teacher for one year, teaching at the middle school and high school levels, and one of my 8th grade students was outside skating next to my car after school with his friends. After a long, stressful day I just said, “what the heck” and went out and hung out with him and his buds and popped a kick flip in the teacher’s parking lot lol. I’m not a teacher any more, but that day may have been one of the most impactful student/teacher moments I ever had 🙂 I love this video. Thank you for sharing.
Lil Jimmy So many little kids can do basic thumb rollovers and think they are cool, which is basically you in this situation. Also, this has nothing to do with the comment so why did you post this?

The most beautiful thing about skateboarding is that no matter what age or demographic you are you can have something in common. I love how it brought the entire class together watching these two share skateboarding with each other. ❤️
It’s funny how many different teachers every student will get and usually we only remember a few. This is one of those memorable teachers that is just meant to be there.
For real, I remember the first time I landed a 360 pressure flip 360 sex change I was so hyped but had no watchers and none of my friends believed me. I had to bust it out at the skate park in order for them to believe me and both times were so hyped but honestly I love watching the entire park go animalistic when they saw it
Used to skate with my teacher and watch skate videos while working on art. What a good way to connect with your students for those who don't play school sports. video made me so happy.
God bless this teacher. If all teachers would connect with their students on this type of level there would be no disrespect and kids would be excited to learn
If you listen closely around the beginning, he mentioned he hasn't done this since he was in 8th grade. So I'm assuming since he was their age. Just based on looks, that teacher is in his late 20s and likely early 30s. So with that in mind, he was pretty impressive. That heelflip out of nowhere!

Gotta give it to the teacher for showing the youth that age isn't anything but a number. I bet he gained a lot more respect if they didn't give it to him before. In addition, I'm pretty sure that brought back good feelings of found memoirs for the teacher as well. Great job!
Mad props to this teacher. Connection with the students is key, regardless of what they're teaching. It's not so much about being the "cool" teacher either. Just finding a connection with them and getting them engaged is key. Well done.
Yeah honestly. The ones I remember are the ones who seemed to really care about us in some personal way like talking to us about random shit or just having fun. Once you do, you can find other ways of doing it, better ways, or even ways to fix issues related to it.
The teacher was trying to do a casper, a I think a kickflip under flip or heelflip under clip, and some kind of varial. A trick? Um. Think again. I may not know the names.
