Our very popular blind tests have taken a different turn! This time, we'll be looking at which phone can take out the other in this single elimination showdown. Will the winner be the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the Oppo Find X6 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, the Honor Magic 5 Pro, the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro, the Vivo X90 Pro+, the Google Pixel 8 Pro, the Sony Xperia 1 V, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the OnePlus 11, or the RedMagic 8S Pro?

@user-mr6ge9nl7h They have a very serious benchmark measurements. Their top list is pretty much on par with real life. Do you really think you could decide in this video wich one is best. Photos are way to small. This video is to get views.
Iphone clearly had the better photo against its competitor but these voters are all myopic android nerds that need thicker glasses 😅😅
Hey guys. I think the best way to truly have a versus between these phones is to have them compete with at least 3 different pictures set. This 1 off is tricky bcos any phone can get lucky/unlucky as the case may be, and this does not truly represent its capacity
I agree. At first I was suprised they included gaming phones such as redmagic 8s pro and rog 7 ultimate. Then when I saw them doing good and asus winning it I laughed out loud. There's no possible way rog 7 ultimate has better camera than s23 ultra. Neither redmagic 8s pro is better than iphone 15 pro max

Marques brownlee, made same test but better and with 3 photos, daytime dark time and portrait
honestly, pixel 8 vs rog 7, i preffered the pixel, much more natural and didn't blow out the lights as much
I can agree, but the nicer photo was of the Asus. Just overall nicer and warmer to a Christmas picture. Pixel's was too cold, although real feels empty.

Xperia shines when u edit the RAW files.. It will never be a fair comparison but their auto mode has improved a lot I believe.
Xperias were never bad, they just don't handle darker skin tones well.
I Think Her used a HUAWEI Mate 50 pro and not the HUAWEI P60 pro?, And HUAWEI Is the dxo mark King! For camera.
Sony takes either too dark pictures or too bright! The only time I can take a picture with auto mode and the balance is right is at golden hour. Then it takes good pics
As I see here Sony did the greatest photos.
I own the S23 ultra and I thought the top 3 in my eyes were 1. iPhone 15 max pro, 2. Sony Xperia, 3. S23 Ultra. I'm shocked that the Sony didn't win the final vote. The ROG photo was so DRY, crunchy and oversharpened.

I really really hope they can make their Zen phones like this, I'd rather they made the battery smaller and dumped a much larger camera in it to compete with the iPhone Pros (not Pro Max) since there's really not much 'small' phone options
Edit: it'd be funny if they just didn't bother with telephoto and managed to put something like a 0.9/1" main (with high MP so you can crop/zoom) and nothing else for the rear cameras
Single elimination is not really suitable for this kind of test.
Am happy that one year old S23 ultra was among the 3 phone...
But iPhone has been consistently winning against the Samsung in most other comparisons. The voters are obviously all android fans as Apple people are too cool to participate in something so mundane 😏.

Buy a Redmagic 9 Pro, trust me it's camera and gaming is better than the ROG 8 Pro, look at side by side, plus it is cheaper. Redmagic is better look more into it, please reply asap
i have moved from huawei to sony just days ago.
and yes, the cameras on this thing is EXCELLENT! although the photos are soft, but i don't mind because they're supposed to be soft if there are less post-processing applied, making the photos very realistic. most may not prefer sony's approach, but with all the AI's, over sharpening, over brightening and color boosting in most flagship phones today, i still prefer what's real to my eyes
Damn nobody talks about how the s23 ultra hold up than other phones that came out in the same year with it. Pixel has always been the winner of these type of review very happy samsung made the phone of the year ❤

I mean there's too few samples to say and there's too few scenarios. But ROG phone did really great for a gaming phone. Doubt it will win on lowlight scenario tho or even just videos
Whilst I'm happy that you actually took time to use the Xperia properly and pleasantly surprised that the gaming phones came as far as they did, i feel like the process could get better
I love those blind tests in everything, because most of the time, it reveals that most people think they have a preference of a thing, but they almost everytime don't even know what they are talking about. For exemple: most people I know says that they prefer iphone cameras, but when they do blind test, the iphone always lose to some other phone.
PIXEL 7A & PIXEL 8 PRO are the REAL WINNER, period.
I'm at the half of the video, and till now, i liked all the photos from phones that lost. I can understand the reason of this way you do the duels, but when you put 2 great phones to compete in 1st stage in one photo circumstance, it's not fair at all. Some are better in other conditions than others, and it all depends on that specific photo you choose to compare. I would love to see 8 vertical photos same time and vote.

Oppo find x6pro, vivo x100pro, and p60pro are the best for sure
The competition is not scientific. Phones sometimes have a hit or miss moment and just taking daytime photos does not give a clear picture.

Dumbest comparison ever. ZTE beating the OnePlus 11 in the first round and Asus Rog Phone winning LMAO. I voted for the OnePlus 11 as ZTE got the White Balance completely wrong but dumb people won't notice it. See how ZTE also fckup the White Balance in the next round. And with Ozzy's departure from this channel, so is mine.😉

@@RacoonFighter Not worse enough for ZTE to beat it. Not getting the White Balance right for a phone in 2023 is not acceptable but dumb people won't know. Oversharpening ain't the prob here, iPhone also oversharpens. And OnePlus doesn't always oversharpen every picture it took, just only when the light is scarce. OP11 has a lot of potential but ZTE beating it in the first round is the dumbest thing from this channel and it's followers.

I think most people voted on their phone and take into account the OLED saturation of their screen so voted for the desaturated photo
Well actually comparing 2 phone's cameras using 1 photo from both is a very useless way of judging which phone has better camera.
This comparison doesn't show the true story and your test methods are dumb just like most other youtubers.
This type of comparison are tend to mislead people.

The comparison between the red magic vs OnePlus shows that people will voted against a typical "iphone-like image" Oneplus won that for me.

The community thinks the worst photo is more realistic.
Because it really is, except the part where it's considered to be the worst. Some processing is necessary to improve image quality for sure, but to do that on the next level where it alters the true colors and dynamics of the photo relative to the actual scene is already way too much, and is what must objectively be considered as the worst photo.
If AI will be used so much to just make the image look more eye-catchy, then I might as well just go to the limits and ask it to make it a cartoon art instead of an actual picture.

I feel like you could improve the vote by having 2, 3 or even 4 comparison photos, where you take the same one with every phone, and then have a vote where every phone is compared with the other ones, more in style of the MKBHD test. While similiar, it would be great to see the comparison of a HDR shot, a lowlight shot and a portrait as MKBHD did too. While obviously you would want to differenciate a bit, this comparison feels too "unfair" as i for example find the iPhone better than the S23U, but you have never come around to compare them as the 15PM got eliminated in the first round. Just my 2 cents.

I was SHOCKED to see a Rog phone winning a camera Phone contest! I have the Rog Phone 3 myself, and while I do like its camera, its definitely not what I was looking for when I bought it. I was thinking on upgrading it in the future, and really loved my Rog 3 so going with its next generation seemed like a good idea to me, the only draw back was that now I am interested in a better camera, and turns out, some how after randomly searching for "the best Phone camera" it came out as the Winner! I was even surprised at first to see it on the list, so even more surprised I am now seeing it winning! Thank you so much for the review! made my choice much easier!
Not testing the physical camera but the built-in post-processing. should have did a few images for each test. low light, portrait, and a landscape shot.

It's so interesting. MHKB's blind test placed the Xperia like dead last, and here it's in the final. And I don't think either got it wrong. These photos are great, and they were garbage in his testing.
I always say that these days cameras are all so nice that its more a preference. Rog 7 winning just shows you that, because its one of the worst cameras around, but is still capable of some decent photos

Why not compare all the cameras at the same level with all the photos. That'll enable your followers to know the best bcos some can shot better photos in a certain lighting condition.
Your comparison are so wrong the Huawei picture was clearly better and superior.
the only place iphone does better is in the reviews from reviewers. in real life i rarely liked my iphone photos. because they are simply too dark, less saturated, less dynamic range, and less zoom.

I don't understand the classification of s23u?
I changed my s23u for an Honor 5pro because of the poor photo quality of the s23u.... In Dxomark the honor and the pixel 8pro are ranked in the top 5, the s23 and 17th and you find yourself the best s23u in picture ?

I must say, that since I was supposed to choose one, that I did.
However with many of them, it was a comparison of tradeoffs. So any one of them could've been the winner should the prioritization of factors be switched.

Why people care about photos this much as much as i know every flagship phones takes great photos and high end phones are also great.
The sample size for each camera is way too small. This is not really a good comparison.
To me, that speaks more of how great the cameras are on the winner. If a camera is only "best" under certain scenarios, can you really call it the best in the first place??

Insufficient comparison, you cannot have information about the photo and video quality of the devices from a single image.
That's the catch, though. The real "best camera phone" is something that could perform extremely well under all given circumstances, and that it must be ready at all times to capture a stunning photo, regardless of the condition that it was set to capture.
It can't be the best if it's only best in SPECIFIC scenarios.

Amazing result. Blind camera test showing overrated iphone and pixel their place. Tech reviewers and fanboys overrate and hype their favourite brands but blind camera test there's no bias and we see the true result.

x6 performs better (controlling highlights on the ceiling), subject is naturally illuminated, the overall pic is better on x6
P8P vs R7
pixel performs better in controlling lights and subject isolation on the doll is better and look at the floor its far better than R7
