Your website is really stylish. I can only imagine the amount of work that went into it. Your backpacks being so rectangular really make it easier to pack things and compared with a larger one is so tightly packed doesn’t allow things to slosh around. I noticed that you are not using money belts. I have always use one to provide an extra level of security. I wear it under my clothes to carry my credit cards, passport, emergency cash, air tickets, plus a small flash drive with electronic copies of every document. It just makes it harder for a thief to get to them. To keep the items in it dry from rainwater and body sweat I keep them in plastic ziplock bags. Some people don’t like the feeling but you get used to it. I prefer this as to me the risk of having them in my daybag and having it stolen while my attention is elsewhere, or by being yanked off my shoulders by a passing thief on a motorcycle is too high. I also wear it when sleeping in a dorm, on a sleeper trains and under the pillow when in dodgy private hotels rooms. My wallet only holds a small amount of working cash for that day and nothing else. I have tiny padlocks on my backpack to lock the zips to discourage people trying to steal items from it when it is being held in hotel storage rooms, while being carried on buses, trains and when being loaded and unloaded from aircraft. It won’t stop them slashing it to get inside, but that becomes obvious when I retrieve it, which allows me to complain there and then.
So glad I found your channel. I was looking for 1 bag travel videos and everyone else I have seen so far is definitely not a one bag traveller. You guys are amazing. I will now be going back and watching your journey.

I love travel days too! My husband thinks it’s weird, to him it’s just a place you go to, to get to the place you want to get to😂 but I think airports are an adventure in itself, especially international ones! I especially love the ones in Asia, like Taipei Taoyuan, Seoul Incheon, Tokyo Narita, HK, and SG Changi. The food courts are usually awesome and they always have fun and cool exhibits or lounges to relax and spend time in (if you have a long layover). LAX and EWR (the ones I’ve traveled through the most in the US) pale in comparison lol. Thanks for posting your packing list on your website! I’ve been stressing about our upcoming trip to SEA, trying to pack as light as possible because we’ll be taking some of the regional carriers and I don’t really want to lose luggage by checking it in lol. Anyway, safe travels!

Love this video so much we've ditched our small 2.5kg carryon suitcases for 1.1kg 40litre backpacks. Couldn't get your ones but we got something similar. Hey guys another great video, As soon as we finished watching we went straight to your Web page and looked at your gear list. We went through our own bags and culled out more stuff. The Web page was a good read and the expense page was very informative, compared it to our Travel budget and saw that ours is even more tight. Hey there! Our main bags are made by Columbia, and they're called the Street Elite Convertible. They are out of production, unfortunately 😕 But sometimes they do pop-up on different websites, so it may be worth Googling the name in your country.

They are really excellent bags, glad you were able to find one! Yea 15lbs is generally the carry-on limit for budget airlines. Bigger airlines, it’s often 20-25lbs. That being said, we’ve never been asked to weigh our bags and we’ve flown budget airlines a lot. People with hard shell cases, even ones smaller than our bags, seem to get pestered the most. Have an awesome time in Thailand! Ya’ll must be so excited 😊
Excellent video folks and as a long-time viewer of your videos and fan of your travels, I found Chev's expense report fascinating. BTW: I spent a decade working with accountants in a large corporation and only wish I could have seen expense reports so clear and transparent!

Thank you! We use the Chase Sapphire Reserve card for lounge access. Basically any card that include a Priority Pass membership will get you into many lounges.
There is some sponsorships etc going around about Insta360 and stuff that goes with it that should be able to mostly replace drones for overview shots, and super small too, maybe fun to look into... Edit: looks pretty much like the action cam you already have xD
How often would you say did you have to check your bags on smaller/budget airlines? Looking for trips to SE Asia and seems they have a carry on limit of only 7kg (15lbs) only!
We have been lucky enough so far that we have never been asked to check them. One thing we've observed, is that people with hard-shell suitcases, even ones smaller than our packs, are the ones always being asked to check their luggage on budget airlines.

Turkey is incredible, it is definitely one of the countries that has surprised us the most. Such a varied landscape and culture. The food is excellent and the people are warm. Istanbul is really a fascinating city and worth visiting. But we had the most fun in the countryside and small towns.
Beautiful except those backpacks no longer exist. I'm tracking down the company though and writing to them. They are probably one of the best designed backpacks I've seen. Especially for women. They have a captive audience to sell to. Because I'm desperate for one and I'm sure others are too.
It's a shame they're out of production, because they would be one of the few products we would feel comfortable sponsoring 😂 Sometimes they pop-up on random sites. They're called the Columbia Street Elite Convertible.
