How to Travel Turkey on a $2500 Budget - 1 week Itinerary: Istanbul, Cappadocia, Hot Air Balloon

  • Hope this inspires you to book a trip to Turkey and gives you a sense of how much things cost! I loved Istanbul and Cappadocia so much, even in the winter, it was beautiful, there was so much to do, delicious foods and so many Turkish delights and yummy desserts. It was always my dream to witness the hot air balloons in Cappadocia and I’m so glad I got to check this off my bucket list!
    Budget Disclaimer: the budget does not include flights! I didn’t include them because those prices vary depending on where you’re flying from and when you book. We booked our flights pretty late so for Istanbul to Kayseri (Cappadocia) ~$80 USD one way. We then flew to Jordan afterwards.

We did Antalya, Pamukkale, and Ephesus a month ago. Cheers to your channel and an amazing 2023 for us all. Subed to follow alond and hel[[ a fellow new channel grow. - Turtle

    Beautiful video. Did you fly to Kayaseri or Nevsihir Airport from Istanbul? How did you travel from airport to your hotel in Cappadocia? I will be travelling in group of 6 and wondering if a taxi will be cheaper to go from airport to hotel in cappadocia or if there is any alternative cheaper transport. Thoughts?

    • @felisaxo
      @felisaxo  Год назад +1

      Thank you!! We flew from Kayseri airport. We booked a hotel shuttle through our hotel and it was cheaper than booking a taxi! With 6 people, you'll likely have to split into 2 taxis so the shuttle might be better (it was super convenient)

    Hi, thank you for your useful video. We're about going to Cappadocia for hot air balloon ride. Could you please tell me what company you use for hot air balloon? Did you need to make reservation in advance ? Payment in advance? if yes, did you need to provide your passports? To be honest, I am not very comfortable to have my info flowing around on the net. Thanks,

    • @felisaxo
      @felisaxo  Год назад

      We booked through our hotel when we arrived (you can also secure with your hotel via email but no need passport info). Highly recommend booking hot air balloon ride asap especially if you're going in the winter (because it can get cancelled due to weather as mentioned in the video), in the summer/high season there's a lot more people so better safe than sorry! We paid once we got to the hotel
