To help you people you could post a scannable qr on the coin door that links to a basics video... how to start.. how to use the flippers, how to 2 players, bumping, tilting, etc... Then have another marked game rules that explains the rules/shots.
I'm not in the pinball industry and don't own a pinball game, but it was super interesting to get insiders' views and behind-the-scenes experiences of different aspects of pinball. Watched the whole two hours. Thanks!
Took me a while to finally get through this program b/c of daily interruptions, yet I finally did and thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. Very interesting to get insight into the pinball business (Operators and distributors). Zach is a very nice guy and met him at the last TPF. Certainly would love to do business with him if he was in Canada. Kudos to all involved with this video. 😎
Thanks for the podcast. I’m excited for the Connected and as a player , I would like to go to establishments and be able to use my Account. What if I have a great game and the achievement isn’t recorded because it wasn’t a connected machine ???
Nice shout out to Pinball Jones in Ft. Collins, CO from Comet Pinball!! On the topic of the new Stern Insider scanner inside pinball machines, I like the idea. As an avid virtual pinball player (Pinball FX3 for example) I love earning the awards. Its a good incentive to keep trying for those elusive goals. It will let you share your achievements with your friends and help build some friendly competition. Plus in the future, if you can earn some rewards for great play all the better.
I am from Boston and there are so few premium machines. I went to Greensboro North Carolina and there was a Barcade called Boxcar downtown that had all LEs. It was amazing, but I kept thinking "why are these here?! These are soo nice to be heavily played at a Barcade."
I wonder if a system of payment could be integrated into the QR reader/wifi in modern machines. Stern could work with a payment app to get it integrated. Quarters are so annoying. Maybe its just not a big enough market or something though.
Ok WT Actual F!!!! I listen to this bald guy skinny guy for updates on Punny Factory and NOTHING? I waited a whole month! Shhhaaaammmmeeee on you! Ok rant over. Great episode and even better guests! Zach really does go above and beyond and all 3 of you do great things for this hobby and community. Don’t let up. If I order from Comet I’ll be sure to ask for Ryan and put his service to the test, uhhh that sounds like a song I’ve heard. :)
That's so funny, my band was on tour and we stopped at Cidercade in December since we had some time to kill that day, I couldn't believe they had an LE Godzilla there instead of a Premium or Pro. I feel like there were a couple LE's there along with other premiums if I'm not mistaken as well, I think it was their Turtles? Pure madness. That said, I definitely played the hell out of Godzilla til we had to go to the venue lol

This might be my favorite video you guys have done yet. Well done team 🤙

Just think of all the non-manufacturer updates we'll have for episode 67. See you next month!
What's that shirt you're wearing Zach? Love it
