haha at least he has carpet
I think he did too, but he had to stay in character
Ramones Will Always Be Punk
That is right! 🤘
They ARE the greatest punk band in the world🤘🤘
Yes
The Ramones was one of the first bands I've listened to when I was in high school before I got into Punk Rock. That band deserves a lot of credit.
My favorite is Road To Ruin =). Best band of all time !!
My favourite Ramones songs are
Judy is a punk
I'm not Jesus
Sheena is a punk rocker
The Crusher
And Pinhead
Shay138 teenage lobotomy is great too
Love this video! Not only is this my favorite out of your first videos, but it also feels like a precursor to you're Type O Negative video. It also helped me get into post "Road to Ruin" albums. I would never have thought that Brain Drain would end up being my favorite Ramones album. I'm surprised you didn't mention their "It's Alive" live album, though.
Very Cool video ! I'm a huge Ramones fan/collector. From 7" singles to 12" albums, I try to get them all. Thanks for doing this, just a great video! Peace
Nice video man. Appreciate you taking the time to pay tribute to this great punk/rock n' roll band and tell us about the vinyl that's out there. you should look for the vinyl for the R'R HS soundtrack and the live double album "its alive" to round things out (there were other live albums too as you probbly know but the first one is essential. Also I really liked the cover of "judy is a punk" you did with your friends. PS- pretty sure those are ducks in the dust sleeve of "halfway to sanity" (not chicken) lol. The front cover has them standing in the doorway of a restaurant in Chinatown (downtown Manhatten NYC) and the ducks are something you would see in the windows of said establishments.
+Cheetah Chrome Lol you're right about the ducks. My stupid fault for being to so many Chinese restaurants and places in NY and NOT knowing... Appreciate you helping get this thing to 400 views! It was a good day for all 3 of us.
Greatest band ever.
Always love to comeback to this video. It sparked my love for the Ramones 7 years ago and I’m super grateful for that. Grind on!⚔️
Thank you! It was a fun day making this
Thank You Killbot&GorGorAttack For Introducing Me To The Ramones They Are Now My 2nd Favorite Band Of All Time Right Behind AC/DC. I Just Got Their Self Titled Debut Album Along With Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols.
Groovy dude! Now get the rest of the catalog!
I'm Trying. It's Hard To Find Some Of Their Albums But I'm Still On The Hunt.
cannibal corpse greatest punk band
The Ramones are the only punk band I listen to
godfrey negron Dude try out The Clash for a spin
@@essejay7952 or the misfits
What About Sex Pistols, The Clash, Green Day, Operation Ivy, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones?
Descendants
You look like you could have joined the band if they were still around
This video is great, this is fucking great, I was planning on doing a video like this but with first pressings, just need Mondo Bizarro, Acid Eaters and a first pressing of the debut, the original has a misprint, Blitzkrieg Bop is spelled Blitzkreig Bop and Beat on the Brat is Beat is on the Brat, an original with these misprints is worth a lot of money, but great video I highly enjoyed this, the only video on RUclips actually talking about the Ramones on vinyl in detail, cheers!
Robert Jinx Thanks dude! Didn't see any vinyl reviews anywhere for the last ten albums they did so I figured why not go for it all... But you should totally go for that! Sounds kinda like the misprint on Marilyn Manson's "Smells Like Children" where on the side it says "Mechanical Animals."
Amazing video dude I've been watching since really recently and what I can say is that the content that you produce is really really funny with metal in it, I've never really seen anyone that does these types of videos, combing metal with a bit of comedy an example is "the quest for last rights" really funny video, keep on producing quality content.
Why thank you! Hopefully more can be exposed. Already have some ideas for the next one... Watch "How to Prepare for a Metal Show" for a comedy sketch.
+Killbot&GorGorAttack!! I've already watched that video "practice moshing with your friends" it's great
If you want to see some comedic metal videos, check out jhofffilms. I discovered him this week and he's funny, glad to know I'm not the only one!
+Killbot&GorGorAttack!! That's nice dude
Do you like crass ?
Love 'em
Killbot&GorGorAttack!! Awesome \m/
i love ramones!
This is JUST GREAT!!! xx SF
My favourites are leave home, rocket to Russia, debut and adios amigos
FIN DE SIGLO 84' ARGENTINA TE AMA !!!! RAMONESSSSS!!!!!!
I'm looking for the last two Ramones albums that you have in your video Amanda Bizarro and adios amigos where did you pick those two albums up at
Discogs and ebay. I’ve since sold these records and rebought them on CD, also got the live albums
Thank you very much for answering my question and I was wondering you don't sell Ramon's albums do you
End of the century was more of a Rock N' Roll album than a punk album just like Pleasant Dreams
You're missing what I think is the best sounding vinyl of the original releases- RamonesMania! If you really want to round out your collection, I would suggest that one, plus It's Alive! and the Rock n' Roll High School soundtrack. The RnRHS soundtrack on vinyl beats the pants off of the CD version btw.
Great video!
On 'End of the Century', those weren't 'guest musicians'. What you are listening to was Phil Spector's guys. They might as well have called 'End of hte Century', a Joey solo album...because there is very little of the other 3 guys on the album. According to Linda and Ed Stasium, Phil Spector has signed off on allowing them to remix the album and it is in the works. The tapes have their actual performances, but they were pretty much all replaced with Spector's 'guys' on the album. But the remix that is in the works will have them playing, as it always should have been. The demos for that album are great. Yeah..Phil Spector used to have a clause in all of his contracts that stated the band could not remix any music that he worked on. But his stance has softened (now that he is doing life in prison) and he has signed the paperwork allowing them to remix it and bring it back to how it should have been all along. I do like 'End of the Century', in the state it was released. The songs are great. But I think due to the strength of the songs, it would have been even better if it had been done their way.
Cool vinyl collection I like punk rock
Offended by your comment on the lyric sleeve as being "nothing special", the photo of the belt buckle and hand is that of Arturo Vega, who famously created their eagle military seal logo. Also let them stay at his loft for some years (very much supporting them and was a huge and one of their first fans since seeing them play their first show in 1974), he was also dubbed the "5th ramone"
Sorry for the rant. You probably knew this but I couldn't help it.
RRRRRRRRAAAAAAMMMMMMOOOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEESSSSSS 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 I LOVE The Ramones and this video
Needles and Pins was a cover, of course...
Rock and roll high school lyric noted.
I like the over dubing of your voice
I thought End Of The Century was a great album! It's actually my 3rd favourite ramones album behind Rocket to Russia and The first album.
Great overview and cover Kill. Who was your favorite Ramones drummer?
+ZEROZEROUFO As much as I love TTtD and Richie speeding them up for 3 albums, Marky probably leaves the biggest impression on me. Johnny himself said in an interview that Tommy didn't exactly help the sound as much as later drummers, but it's nice to see each drummer evolve with each era of the band.
jajajajajaja q divertida forma de ser rockero......pero muy sano.
HEY HO LET'S GO AND GABBA GABBA HEYYYYY !!! I LOOOOVE the RAMONES toooooo ! Can you make more punkvideos ????? PPPUNNNKKK !!!!!fjah glasjhjga !!!! I don't know but maby about the difference between Punkbands like sex pistols or black flag and pop-rock-punk band ( green day ) Y'know ? (sorry my engish is bad )
It's a possibility. Check out "Tankcrimes: Label Catalog Review" and "Life Is Abuse: Label Catalog Review" for more punk stuff that's up here at the moment.
I think the 70s was the greatest decade for music
The Damned were good as well if not better...
Rocket-russia & Pleasant dreams are the best.
Uncle Tony now is much different now then here for some reason
Richie Ramone added something new to the overall sound, not just as a great drummer...
scary that im watching this a few days
And a month after the 20th anniversary of joey ramones death
This guy looks like cliff burton
:)
I really enjoyed your ramones video. And P.J.Soles was a hottie back in late 70's/ early 80's. The Ramones fan of RocknRoll High School. And she got stabbed in Halloween '78 version.
Gorgeous woman, for sure! \m/
Is that your dad on guitar ?
You mean the bass player? Thats Braxton
Killbot&GorGorAttack!! Oh. Let me get the straight. You invited for the cover songs right? So you live alone?
as much as I like the ramones, I only listen to their first 3 albums, the rest I just don’t bother with
I don't know, Too Tough to Die was awesome! But to each their own :)
ramones ahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa
0:39 your wrong
I mean it's opinion man
But I agree with him
Too much cringe in this video
Then don’t watch it, dumbass.
End of the Century crappy crap
