i seen your video about straight edge 2 months ago. Since then i am tabaco, alcohol and weed free. Thank you very much man.
Is that a repress of Crucifix? I had the original pressing that got lost and bought one of the recent clear vinyl represses, but the quality wasn't great so looking for a good copy.
They reissued it recently on CD and vinyl
MY favorites:
6. The Clash - The Clash
5. Social Distortion - Social Distortion
4. Never Mind The Bollocks - Sex Pistols
3. Suffer - Bad Religion
2. Life Won't Wait - Rancid
1. London Calling - The Clash
Good :)
Some of the art for the first album you showed looks like they are doing a parody of Crass's feeding of the 5000
I'll second Crucifix, Void/Faith, and the GG Allin. Great fucking video man!
+Eric Bauer Cheers mate!
Congrats on 1000 subs man! keep up the awesome videos!
Respect ✊ GG’s music is underrated af. It seems like people only talk about his stage antics, and never really talk about the music. Amazing record! “Hated in The Nation” is also another good one!
It’s because that’s what made him famous unfortunately. Most people only know of him by his 90’s-to death era. He had some talent in his younger days no doubt. Don’t know how he didn’t take off.
Crucifix, The Ruts are top tier. I would prefer the Faith/Void split for the Faith (you get the awsome Void included) --one of the two all time best splits, along with Code of Honor/Sick Pleasure.
Totally love the videos man! I don't know if you have much of an interest in Australian bands, but you'd probably dig Extortion (if you haven't heard them already). They're from Melbourne and have a great hardcore/powerviolence sound going. Kind of reminded me of them when you mentioned Product of Waste. Keep doing what you're doing, much love!
+Matthew Schembri Extortion is great! I used to listen to them loads when going to gigs!
Thank you all for the 1000 subscribers!! Hello to all the new people!!
I found your channel today, I love it and I subscribed after the first video I saw!
thepitchcontrol you should do a top 10 Death Metal records
Glad to see AWIAASB in this. SUPER slept on in terms of the classic punk sound.
Congrats on 1,000 subs. Keep up the good work.
+MastermindScarecrow Cheers! Will do!
You really deserve all the subscribers, loved you're videos from the start!
+lisa vandenbroucke Thank you!! :)
Some great picks here
Just a heads up. Sun Kil Moon just updated their/his tour dates and they've added Berlin to the tour. They'll be there on June 16th.
+Harmless Rebel's Vinyl Channel Thank you so much mate! I had no idea they were playing here!
Pissed Jeans are one of my favourite 'modern' punk bands out there, and False Jesii Part 2 is also my favourite track on that record. I saw them in London a few years back and it totally went off. They got the crowd going insane. They made a 1,000 capacity venue feel like I was in a pub haha. Also, judging by your description - I need to go and check out Product of Waste, like... now.
Really cool video man! Nice to see some more obscure punk stuff on RUclips. Congrats on the big 1,000.
+Sick Reference, Bro Thank you mate! Product of waste are great! defiantly worth having a listen to! If you are into hip hop you should listen to the singers rap tracks too!
Your style in music and clothes is badass. Keep up the good work
hey, more recent fan here, what do you think about mathcore, avant-garde/experimental-metal?
Does anyone know where the music Snippet at the very start of this video is from??
I have a question for you. Ever listened to Propagandhi?
One of Canadas finest punk bands.
JanieJones77 And Billy Talent.
JanieJones77 But Propagandhi is awesome!
No. Just no.
JanieJones77 Lol I'm talking about the 1 st album. lol
Way to go man! Keep 'em coming.
I gues you are not into Punk Rock. What do you think about Refused?
Greets from México mate!
I'm not into punk rock?? yeah Refused are cool!
I am so happy that you like the ruts! I love them too, my dad used to be good friends with Paul fox in the early 80s. If you can see ruts dc live see them, they are so good.
+Ben Hughes Woah! no way?!! I love THE RUTS!!
+thepitchcontrol Yeah I was brought up on them, discovered that not many people knew about them and I'm always happy when I see a fellow fan c: Also if you havent check out the book about the ruts, love in vain, very interesting
I will check that out for sure! Thank you for the recommendation!
+thepitchcontrol Also well done on 1000 subs, bring on 2000, I love your content man
That gg allin record is amazing ,before he sucked
So glad myke c town brought me here
+Jim Jim Me too!
+Jim Jim So am i mate! :)
Excelente video amigo muchas gracias....
do a emo/skramz vinyl list, like american football and maths
Checking out Endless Grinning Skulls now. Great recommendation!
that poison planet album sounds so good on vinyl! you should check out a band called Sectarian Violence, the sound is pretty similiar even though the lyrics tend to be a bit more on the polytical side than on the animal activism theme. be sure to check them out and give me some feedback.
the list was great btw! great insight on bands i've never heard of. cheers :)
+João Faritas I have listend to Sectarian Violence a lot mate and i love them also!
thanks mate! i hope you found some new bands from it!
Any crust punk bands you really enjoy ?
+Wyattxhim Loads mate! I will have to do a video in the future about them all! What about you?
+thepitchcontrol for crust punk alone I only know big names but lately I've been loving crust punk mixed with either Grindcore and or black metal
You should check out the swe bands Totalt Jävla Mörker and skitsystem. Both meanass kick your teeth in bands.
Moaned once you brought up Pissed Jeans' "King Of Jeans"... that album is pretty much the soundtrack to my life. I also do the shrugging dance in 'False Jesii Part 2' quite often on nights out. The whole album/package cover is just a guy's arm holding a Snicker bar to the woman's mouth. So fucking good.
Our GG experience is the same too, started off hating him and then really got into him.
+Richard Owens I wanna see the shrugging dance!
+Richard Owens I wanna see that dance too!! Mate the GG 12" is so so good. I didn't know if you would be into that ...
Yeah pretty cool list. You even had Crisis in it. Just awesome.
good work some great bands
Have you ever listened Appraise?
have you ever been to electric knife records?
When i watch music on RUclips and the suggestions thing comes on the left hand side i get a LOT of Jesus and mary chain i thought "Oh i bet Pitch control will like these" The band are The God machine and the song i recommend is Home.
Have you heard king blues punk and poetry? Gallows Grey Britain is great as well. Not very underground but still good.
+Chris Allan Yeah man! King Blues are great! Haven't really dedicated anytime to Grey Britain really ... Should I?
+thepitchcontrol Thanks for the reply dude, Just when you were talking about catchy British punk, Gallows are essentially a modern version of that. The album is aggressive and poignant in regards to modern society and songs are great, also the singer Frank Carter has a band called The Rattlesnakes, this was a surprise hit with me and has a similar sound.
+Chris Allan No problem mate! I have listend to Gallows, PURE LOVE and The rattlesnakes but i haven't listend to Grey Britain much at all ... I think i might have seen a few videos on Kerrang TV or something a while back ... I will check it out now! Cheers mate!
+thepitchcontrol No problem dude, thanks for the videos, doing a great job man. I wasn't a massive fan of Pure Love but enjoy everything else Frank has done. The latest Gallows albums with Wade McNeil are often overlooked but are also great.
+Chris Allan I have never listend to the Wade McNeil stuff ... I might give that a go too! Cheers buddy!
Man it was no time ago it was 500. Roll on 2000
+FBTVNI I know mate ... So nuts! I will keep working super hard to keep it up for everyone! Thanks for the support!
Thanks for the vid, Product of Waste is really good.
awesome video! I'd kill for a flea market Ruts record!!! haha.
can anyone identify the records on the wall? a lot of the covers look really cool haha
Only one I recognize is on the right. The Smiths: Meat Is Murder.
Good selection of records love the fact that you like crucifix is that the band from northern California if it is I know jimmy the guitar player & the singer good friends plus awesome you are straight edge, me too 22yrs I got on the 30th September my favorite u.s. straight edge band MINOR THREAT , YOUTH OF TODAY, I Subscribed you CURTIS, . also who did your tattoos cool neck is awesome. respect for sxe guy loves ggallin even hus record is bootleg.
Well who would spend 1000 on a original?
He looks like Ollie Sykes if he was a librarian
Thats cap when u say u saw gg allins video on mtv when he was in his iggy phase
I see Disembodied LP on the wall.
i got the void split HAHAHAH i found it for 10 euros !
cool vid m8
cool channel, good video.
pow!!
I know music is a matter of taste and these are all good albums but seriously none of these with the exception of Crucifix are top ten Punk albums. The Void side is excellent but the Faith side is pedestrian. I love GG and have most of his albums but again not close to being top ten albums.
Black Flag, Misfits, GBH, Discharge, Ramones, Angry Samoans, Minor Threat, Crass, Leftover Crack, Adolescents, Circle Jerks, SSD, Adolescents, MDC and .....
Actually I do get it.
Wow, about half of these are anarcho-punk ones.
개처량한 세상.. 피 토하는 음악..ㅋ
hi lol
Well that was weak. Thanks for the commentary for the blind.
These records were ok.. all pretty well known. Nothing special. Ruts were the best.. Crisis are great too. The rest are quite mediocre.
