Very thankful you shared this. Loop has a great way of setting things up and also the usability is awesome! Switching from magnet to loop as there I didnt have that many options and customizing of keybinds.

That radial menu, but Amethyst would be amazing
I downloaded magnet from the appstore and it kept freezing up my MacBook Pro M1 until I deleted the app and restarted. Very odd.
Try Raycast. Window Management included.
Aerospace. I use Ray cast too for everything else
will be more useful to have saved configuration for some apps we wanted to look the same on diff monitor. else it will be another copy of other windows mgmt tool.
no this windows manager is way less convenient than a dynamic tiling manager like amethyst or yabai
I recently switched from Yabai to Aerospace. Can recommend you give it a try aswell 👍🏻

how do you know the app is not sending sensitive info out though?
it's open source ._. audit the code (or you can just block outgoing connections with LuLu if there are any, i haven't tried loop yet so idk if does)
as I understand it's an open source. it means that all the code of this app is public and everyone can read it. so if you have any experience in development you can read it and then you will be sure of what and how this program does. or if you are not a developer and you don't understand code, then just read the opinions of other people. Generally open source programs are much better in terms of safety, privacy etc.
just try yabai with skhd and forget about the mouse/trackpad
also AeroSpace, which is quite new and has a few BIG advantages... doesnt need SIP to be deactivated and doesnt rely on the MacOS-native workspaces (which is GREAT)
getting an app needs to be updated to check for malicious content which fails to launch the app

I think this is so stupid. It's goes against everything that tiling window managers teach - less use of mouse.
