Saw Maiden once in late 80s...didn't think I'd like it but...geez...one night can slam their hot brand on your skull very quickly...unbelievable music..🎤🎸🇨🇦🇬🇧
Check their hidden gems. Infinite dreams, The Duellist, sigh of the cross( different singer in the studio version) The Legacy, To tama a land, Deja vu, Killers (different singer) Great reaction mate. Cheers
'Rime of the Ancient Mariner' Flight 666 version is an absolute great, and 'The Clansman' Rock in Rio 2001 well worth a listen too. Hallowed Be Thy Name live was my favourite for many years but several others are equally as good imo
Fear of the Dark next from EnVivo or Flight 666. Stick with live. Anything off those two concerts is great. Maiden often referred to as The Who of metal. Seen them twice. Best live band ever.
Steve Harris is the band leader and primary writer. The Trooper, Aces High, Revelations, Where Eagles Dare, Dance of Death En Vivo, Rime of the Ancient Mariner. I could list another 50 songs easily.
If you like their intense and speedy "galloping guitar" sound, (with outstanding drumming), then "The Trooper" is a must, Shawn. Being they're known to be a great live band, their "Fear of the Dark" (Live in Rio) video is definitely worth your time.
Whatever maiden you do, you want the LIVE versions. Always better then studio. Brave New World (Rock in Rio 2001 version), Dance of Death (En Vivo version), and Power Slave (Long Beach Arena version) are all amazing maiden jams.
Flight of icarus, Phantom of the Opera, Aces high, Wasted years, The trooper, Iron maiden, Children of the damned, Where eagles date, Powerslave, Rime of the ancient Mariner, Wrathchild, 22 Acacia avenue, The prisoner, Alexander the great.... The Iron Maiden list could go on and on.
Not Jannick Gers on this. This is the OG lineup with Adrian Smith. After this they released like 6 straight EPIC albums and then Smith and Dickenson quit. Then Jannick joined to replace Smith. Then in 2001, Dickenson and Smith returned but everybody liked Jannick so much they kept him in the band so now it’s a 6 piece with 3 lead guitarists. Steve Harris IS Iron Maiden and writes like 95% of their songs.
Just FYI, in the version you've watched, their drummer was Clive Burr, they replaced him with Nicko shortly after that live show due to health issues on Clive part. Also the third guitarist, Janick Gers, wasn't part of the band yet.
The best rock band ever! They are still touring. You can’t go wrong with any of their songs.
Absolute masterpiece❤️and Maiden,amazing ever👏👏👏👏
Pure and Real metal!!!!!! ❤❤
UP THE IRONS Shawn!!!! Niceeee! Ty mate! ☘️🇺🇲
One of the very best heavy metal songs and one of the very best of Maiden ~ Up The Irons!
Saw Maiden once in late 80s...didn't think I'd like it but...geez...one night can slam their hot brand on your skull very quickly...unbelievable music..🎤🎸🇨🇦🇬🇧
MAIDEN RULES! UP THE IRONS!!! 🤘
I got tickets for Iron Maiden in November on My Birthday weekend 😊🔥. I can’t wait!!!!!
I got to hear Iron Maiden a couple of times in the '80s at Madison Square Garden, awesome! 🤘🎶🔥
Seen them 3 times in last 5 years & still sound great. No gimmicks or tricks just talent
Late 80s Philly
THIS THE ORIGINAL BADASS BAND EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is still considered one of the best heavy metal songs of all time, and influenced many that came after...🤘
You are awesome! Great reaction
Revelations is a deep cut from Maiden you should check out. These guys are phenomenal!!
Man you enjoyed that.... so did I. Cheers.
Remember the 1985 concert I saw as one of my favorites.
saw that tour, Saxon opened for them in the U.S., Maiden blew American audiences away
@@m.ericwatson968 yep, I’m American and they blew me away !!!!! ♥️💕🇺🇸
Any Iron Maiden song. Dance of death is amazing. Fear or of the dark. Wasted years. So many to choose from. Never a disappointment
I’ve seen Iron Maiden in 1982, 2002, and 2012! Showing my age, ha! I think I need to see them one more time before they call it a day!
@@sixbladeknife44 I saw them in a double bill with Judas Priest in 1982
Check their hidden gems. Infinite dreams, The Duellist, sigh of the cross( different singer in the studio version) The Legacy, To tama a land, Deja vu, Killers (different singer) Great reaction mate. Cheers
Always the consumate professionals, they are so consistent live!
EASILY ONE OF MUSIC"S BEST BASSIST OF ALL TIME
'Rime of the Ancient Mariner' Flight 666 version is an absolute great, and 'The Clansman' Rock in Rio 2001 well worth a listen too. Hallowed Be Thy Name live was my favourite for many years but several others are equally as good imo

Stranger in a strange land or loneliness of the long distance runner

“Up the Irons”
🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
One of the best metal songs by the best live band ever. Up the irons!

Perhaps the greatest song ever
They’re so good live dude
Rime of the ancient mariner flight 666 live... saludos desde Chile.

Fear of the fark
The talisman
Pashandale
Rime.of the ancient mariner
Powerslave
Great job sir.

When he points up he's telling them to turn up his earpiece volume
Will we ever see this song live again? Maybe not 😢
Just FYI, in the version you've watched, their drummer was Clive Burr, they replaced him with Nicko shortly after that live show due to health issues on Clive part. Also the third guitarist, Janick Gers, wasn't part of the band yet.
Gotta do the trooper next
Just fyi it was the bassist who started the band, Steve Harris? I dunno my younger brother knows he always loved em.
Fear of the dark live
The trooper
Run to the hills
Flight of icarus
Try to always do live versions
This is so much better than the album its crazy. Im 54 and iron maiden to me was meh. But whatever in this concert they had it in spades.
# of the beast
the trooper
22 acacia ave
run to the hills
flight of icarus
for starters
"Fear of the dark" is of equal status as this one. Just avoid the live version, if you wanna get the true sound of that song.
Great albums but live maiden is always best 2008 Toronto 3 guitars and Bruce still killing it
It’s the bollocks ain’t it 👌🏻🎸🥁🎤⚒️🩷
Clive Burr the drummer didn't get the exposure he deserved.
