At the request of Mark Burgess, I've created an alternative title sequence for The Church on Ruby Road, featuring a customized version of the classic 80s starfield sequences alongside Murray Gold's 2023 theme. Also at their request, I've modified the sequence to include the faces of all 15 mainline Doctors (plus War and Fugitive) and the revamped Diamond logo to reflect the special's broadcast in the anniversary year. I like the elements of the actual title sequence for Ncuti's era being subtly used with this version of the starfield sequence.
I think the opening just needs to be Ncuti's face alone without the previous incarnations as this was for his first full episode as the new Doctor rather than for the sixtieth anniversary specials.
I’m still holding to my theory that the fugitive/Ruth doctor is an unbound 1st Doctor from another universe.
the new time vortex looks so good combined with the 1980s starfield!
I really like it
Nice.
14’s fucking face like “ooooh it’s me again I’m so naughty!”
It’s so funny
Fantástic
great thank you
You're welcome!
It’s not bad but we don’t know where Ruth doctor comes in the timelinee
Before the first doctor
@@ThegreenMnMguy we don’t know that, it’s implied but it woudnt make sense because the first doctor stole the tardis and made it look like a police box so why on earth would Ruth’s look like a police box
The TARDIS is a living thing with memories and preferences. We know that IT chose the doctor, not the other way around. So it just as easily could have chosen an appearance that it likes and the doctor likes. 1st doc, with no memories and a seamingly new tardis, fixes the circuits but the tardis breaks them right back again after a few trips.@@Skyehye3113
@@Skyehye3113the Fugitive Doctor also landed in the 1960’s during one of her missions?
@@Skyehye3113 Firstly the 1st Doctor happened to land in Shoreditch in the 1960s and stayed there so long that the TARDIS got stuck like that he didn't choose it, the 1st Doctor even comments on how "disturbing" it is that she didn't change shape. Secondly Chibnall said that it was always his intention for the Fugitive Doctor to come Pre-Hartnell. Lastly it's not that hard to rationalize how that can either A she had a different TARDIS that she purposefully chose to change into a Police Box seeing as with a functioning chameleon circuit you can actually choose a permanent disguise for it as shown in Logopolis, or B they're the same TARDIS and that when the 1st Doctor landed in Shoreditch she purposefully broke her chameleon circuit to get stuck as a Police Box to help remind the Doctor of who he once was.
Can you do a spider-man 2 intro 11th doctor style with next time please?

@@Merganman4 nevermind.
I love Tennent showing up twice
Why have Jo Martin before Bill Hartnell?
Because that's where she comes in the timeline.
@Merganman4 Since Chibnall chose not to elaborate, do we know that for certain? It's possible that the Ruth Doctor actually comes between Troughton and Pertwee. Her story is similar to that of the Season 6B theory, and her TARDIS is a police box, which it wasn't supposed to be prior to the events of An Unearthly Child.
@@homeworld1765 Well, I guess we *technically* can't say for certain, but all the evidence points toward it - not least the fact that she was introduced in a storyline that explicitly confirmed pre-Hartnell incarnations exist, and also that we know she was active before time was a restrained force, which was clearly well before the 1st Doctor's time.
As for the TARDIS exterior, I think there are plenty of different ways to explain it. The most common theory I've seen is that, being psychic, and recognizing that the 13th Doctor was the same person, it adopted a form that she would recognize.
My personal theory is, since we know the 1st Doctor stole the TARDIS from the repair shop, the Police Box exterior was one of the reasons it was in for repairs - and when the Doctor once again landed in 1960s England, it took the opportunity to adopt the same shape it was previously stuck as. Basically, it was temporarily fixed but landing in a similar time and place to before re-triggered the error.
Either way, I don't think it's nearly as unsolvable a plot hole as some people suggest (and I think the pure power of that visual shorthand makes the discontinuity worthwhile, anyway).
@@Merganman4 how did you make "the toymaker did it" so long?
@@dc6521 Sorry, I'm not sure what you're referring to?
This is stellar, do you take requests?
Thanks! If you'd like your own title sequence, please visit my ko-fi page for details: ko-fi.com/merganman4
I’d like to request this specials Title, the Doctor played by Rick Astley and the episode title being never gonna give you up while mixing dr and Rick roll music it would be fantastic lol
Hi there, unfortunately I'm not currently taking new requests, but check back in a month or two.
Don’t care what the BBC says. Nobody comes before William Hartnell. I reject the Timeless Child.

Too bad that the idea of doctors before One was a thing since Classic Who.
Brain Of Morbius.
@aSkyclad yeah, and it sucked back then too.

Hi, it’s Freddy. My request is a series 4 specials title sequence with the names in order: Zane Waldron, Freddy Stickley, Isaac Waldron, And Maddy Stickley and for there to be no episode title. Thank you 👍
Alright, I've added it to the list!
@@Merganman4 thank you 🙏
good but Tennant image overshadows Ncuti in his own show, not sure why Tennant is even featured in the end titles
I imagine it's to represent the passing of the baton from Tennant to Gatwa, but I can't say for certain if that was the intention of the original requester.
this is all very confusing
Welcome to Doctor Who
