Hey brother I really enjoy your videos. I wanted to ask you if you can maximize matrixes on the sq using it with the ahm16? Also how do you compare Allen and heath dlive with the Yamaha dm7 I’ve seen you using and talking about? I’m thinking of investing in a dm7 compact
I’ve used a DM7 and I own a SQ5. The DM7 compact is the better console. It’s more robust, smoother workflow, more flexible. But it’s almost 4xs the cost. If you add stagebox cost it’s 10x.

Hey quick question, I've recently purchased the ahm 32 version without Dante card. My question is once downloading the software and connecting to the desktop, is there diverging that would prevent my device from showing?

The long answer is that Dante is a 3rd party protocol used by many brands, and so as long as a device is Dante enabled, it can pass audio to and from any other Dante device on the same network. Awesome video, great job. I have a question regarding the IP8 that’s a little off topic. Would you happen to know how to get it connected to the mix rack rather than the surface? At the moment I have it connected to the network port on the mix rack and configured on using the S500 surface. However, when I shut down my S500 the IP8 also goes out.
Hi! Thanks for your question. You have to hit the Mixrack button while the IP8 is plugged into the Mixrack network port and configure it from that Controller tab instead of the Surface one. I wish i could trade the second zone PEQ for speaker proccessing. That way i could set the crossover only once and send that signal to other zones.
