Yes, micing a drum kit would only be needed in medium and larger venues where the drums will need extra amplification in the room. Hello! They are both very similar, but due to the battery power on the Everse, the ZLX G2 does outperform it with a higher max SPL by about 3 dB respectively between each model. The ZLX G2 is great for portable PA and monitors indoors, or outdoors, but they aren't weather-proof. Everse is a great solution if battery power feature is necessary, and if the application calls for it to be exposed to the elements.
